Bronze Medal Matches of Italian Volleyball SuperLega 2024/2025 | Piacenza vs Perugia

Oh yes, that's a serve from Bentara, big ol' ace from him, and Peruzza now begins. Good serve, nice free ball for Piacenza, chance to go 9-5, re-establish their four-point lead, taken brilliantly by Berizan. Nice cover, Spinet will have another try, he's very good at that. Bentara comes again, it was easily dealt with by Ma, he puts in a good bounce on that, pass, great block, Peruzza now lead by two, it's only the serve, he's going further past that, brilliantly for the ball again, bounced, perfect pass, and the perfect block from Galassi, and suddenly Piacenza are just one behind, excellent, really get a sense of how high Blominski's jump, touch, what a swing that is, Stephen Ma brings up set point for Piacenza, set two's underway, said to nothing, time to serve, well played, Ma went a bit early, oh scan further, magnificent, but the block is even better, and Peruzza level it up, lovely serve, but once again passing levels high, and side-out achieved, a good side-out as well, off the back of it, that will do nicely for Piacenza, it's done by Fekishikawa, well played, Fekishikawa, that ball's on the floor before he's under the net, still in play, that didn't hit the floor, great save, scan further, free ball now for Peruzza, lovely pick up by Scanferla, getting into the action, and it is a point for Piacenza, he's keen to find the middles, it's working for him, Fekishikawa, he was waiting for that one, so Piacenza now two in front, and he has done exactly that, great ball, great finish, well played, Bentara bouncing that one the middle, set from Nicola Salsi, it's a bit tight, well played though, keep the ball, it is Peruzza with a chance, still, but it's an ace serve, the swing for the set, taken by Bentara, 25-17, what's the save she said, and that is a fantastic block, Fekishikawa, free ball Peruzza, chance for the break point, emphatically taken by Fekishikawa, good ball in, and then puts a bouncer in, well up Scanferla, to get us to Brooklyn, and there we do, that ball is on the floor, lovely pass, everyone in system, good cover by Cinelli, Fekishikawa working his makeshift setter, and again, can't find a way through, this is great blocking by Piacenza, and still they are denying Peruzza, and again, this is magnificent, I don't think I've seen a team make that many blocks in a row, and still the rally continues, oh you are kidding, no you're not, in the end that had just to be something special for Cinelli, wonderful swing, ace serve from Ma, that is massive, it's now match point Piacenza, well played, through the middle, got his first two serves in, does his clip the net, that slowed it right down, match point, playoff point, ace serve, they've done it, Semenyuk the hero, Peruzza the winners.
