Elrond warns Arwen that if she stays in Middle-earth and marries Aragorn, she will endure the pain of his mortality. He paints a sorrowful picture of her future: after Aragorn's death, Arwen will be left alone, wandering the fading world, burdened by grief. Elrond pleads with her to depart with him to the Undying Lands, where she can live eternally free from sorrow
Despite her father's counsel, Arwen chooses to embrace a mortal life with Aragorn, fully aware of the heartache it will bring. This decision underscores the depth of her love and the profound sacrifice she makes, echoing the legendary tale of Lúthien and Beren.
Hi folks, it's mid-May 2025. As I speak, Saturn is just about to move into 29 degrees of Pisces
and Uranus is currently at 27 degrees of Taurus. They are sextiling each other. They have been
sextiling each other now for two, two and a half, even three months and they will continue
to sextile each other until Saturn moves ahead of Uranus which won't be, looking at my trusty
ephemeris, so Saturn-Uranus sextile will clear March 2026. During this time, Saturn has already
sextiled Uranus once from Pisces to Taurus. It will sextile itself each other again later this
year in Aries and Gemini and then it will sextile each other again for the third and final time
at the start of next year from back in Pisces to Taurus. So let's look at this.
Saturn in Pisces for the last two and a half years has really done its best to bring an
element of focus, which is a difficult word for Pisces energy, some of the more difficult
attributes of Pisces into public perception. It's really made people a lot more aware
of the victim mentality that seems to be spreading around the world,
where people feel that they have a right to benefits, financial benefits, free medication,
to not work. There's an attitude towards the woke principle. Everyone's getting easily offended and
I do attribute much of this to the recent Piscean energy over the last two or three years.
I'm not saying it's a good thing or a bad thing. It's a fact that this has happened.
Saturn is going to move into Aries along with Neptune and this is going to be the start
of people going, right, enough feeling sorry for myself. Let's do something. Let's make something
happen. And if they don't take that attitude, then events will be outside of their control
because in the country that I live in, a very large proportion,
especially of the younger people, are simply not working because they're on
long-term sickness benefit. It's unsustainable for the long term.
Now Uranus has been in Taurus for five years, six years. It's going to be there on and off
till March, April, this time next year. We're in the last year of Uranus in Taurus.
Taurus deals with value systems, what it is that turns us on, what we appreciate and enjoy,
what has value and worth, whether it is financial, food, possessions, assets, materials,
resources. And Uranus has made it clearer increasingly that it's not about how much
you've got, it's what you do with it that counts. It's also, on the negative side,
really increased the disparity between the 2% of the world who have 98% of the wealth
and the 98% of the world who have 2% of the wealth. Saturn and Uranus are uncomfortable
energies with each other. Father and son, Saturn castrated his father in the guise of Kronos
from the Greek. Saturn deals when younger with restriction and limitation and authority,
and when older with words like structure, boundary and self-discipline.
Uranus deals with revolution, radicality, rebelliousness,
and innovation, novelty and the future. As Saturn deals with the past, Uranus deals with the future.
So it's not a lot in common here, but the aspect between them is a sextile,
one-sixth of a circle. And the nature of a sextile is to encourage one to work hard,
but at the same time to bring windows of opportunity in return for the hard work,
which can then either be taken or ignored. And whenever I see a sextile happening in a client's
chart, I say to them, well look, you're going to see a window of opportunity and if you take it,
you'll thrive. And if you don't take it, you lose nothing. So Saturn is sextiling Uranus.
This is going to bring a degree of structure, not so much order, but structure and boundary
into some of the Uranian more chaotic and unpredictable sides. It's going to temper
the more radical side of Uranus and it's going to slow Uranus down a bit from being so provocative
and unconventional. At the same time, with Uranus sextiling Saturn, particularly from Taurus to
Pisces, it's going to help Saturn revolutionize its old attitudes and boundaries about the victim
mentality, the poor me, the feeling sorry for oneself. And it's going to bring new opportunities
for us to bend our rules rather than break them. It's going to encourage us to have more
flexible structures, both individually and collectively. Now Saturn is going to move into
Aries and Uranus is going to move into Gemini. And whilst the sextile will still remain,
the background operating area will change. Saturn in Aries is a very different ballgame
to Saturn in Pisces. It's much more like, okay, how can I make my fortune? How can I do something
for me? How can I get myself out of this Piscean morass and mess and become more proactive and
initiate something? And Uranus in Gemini as opposed to Taurus is going to be going,
okay, time for me to engage brain now and stop getting so enmeshed in the material.
So a sextile from Uranus in Gemini to Saturn in Aries or a sextile from Saturn in Aries to Uranus
in Gemini, with Saturn sextiling Uranus, it's going to be, okay, so how can I work in a disciplined
way in a more innovative, original and futuristic way without compromising my core base values and
structures? Whilst Uranus in Gemini is going to be going, okay, so let's start thinking differently.
Let's rearrange our mental boundaries and structures and our ideas around communication
and media. So I suggest that over the coming year, with the Saturn-Uranus sextile in Pisces
and Taurus, we're going to see increasingly the irrelevance of hoarding, not so much hoarding
food or possessions on property, but large amounts of money because, you know, one day you're going
to die and unless you leave it to your kids or have fun spending it, you're going to end up the
richest corpse in the graveyard. Whilst at the same time, with Saturn in Pisces, there's a real risk of
people getting so caught up in the victim mentality, my life is so hard and it's someone else's fault,
who, anyone, but not mine, that they will get stuck in that and they'll never be able to get out of it
and then the only answer is the bottle or something similar. Whereas the sextile is going to give them
the opportunity to start seeing things in a different way, to be able to elevate their senses,
to find the spirituality of Pisces and to realise that not all value systems are material,
with Uranus and Taurus, and to perhaps find a restructured value system that's based as much on
kindness and generosity and a genuine desire to help those less fortunate than themselves,
rather than just greed or the poor me mentality.
Long term though, the sextile is going to move into Aries and Gemini and that's where the future
lies. The way we deal with our own attitudes towards feeling sorry for ourselves and greed
will be the testing ground for when Saturn moves into Aries and Uranus into Gemini
and that has tremendous opportunities in it. It's going to revolutionise the way we think,
it's going to open up new ideas, new patterns, perhaps even new neural pathways,
it's going to give us the opportunity to expand into different
fields of thought, different ways of seeing the world and it's actually going to encourage
individuals to think that as an individual that they can make a difference.
The days of victimhood are coming to an end, whilst at the same time Saturn sextiling Uranus
is going to moderate the Uranian race to excess. Uranus unfettered in Gemini is going to be going
full speed ahead into brand new tech and it runs the risk of leaving everybody behind but with the
Saturn sextiling it through to this time next year, it's going to moderate the pace of change
so that a lot of people can keep up. So I see the Saturn Uranus sextile as revolutionising our
limitations whilst at the same time bringing an element of structure into the ways we deal with
the future. It's a win-win situation and the only way it's going to be negative is if we insist on
remaining the same because then we'll get stuck in a rut which will probably last at least another
29 years. It is time to start thinking differently. That's the Saturn Uranus sextile and I'll do
another one on this in a few months time.
