I practice traditional astrology mixed with some evolutionary astrology and I utilize whole sign houses, which means the rising sign to me yes, there is an ascendant degree, but the entire zodiac sign occupies the first house in my view of astrology and When we deal with rising signs, we talk about the whole first house. Okay, so The first house in astrology, right? It's all about the self. It's our identity It is where the world sees us, right? The first house can also represent our early childhood experiences So our rising sign can very much be part of our early upbringing but for the sake of this video We're not going to go into astrological Explanations really on Early life middle life later life because there are different stages of all of our zodiacal placements that do manifest in different ways So it is actually important to understand how to evolve your rising sign Because that's kind of part of your innate Frequency so to speak the world will always see you and your rising sign before they see you as the Sun or your moon The moon is the most private place that we have an experience within our astrological makeup The Sun is usually where people see us as far as what we're known for really like maybe our job or what dominant Part of our life shines the most But the rising sign is kind of how we approach things in life So Sagittarius, we're talking about mutable fire, okay Mutable is kind of like the all-over-the-place energy, right? The other mutable Sign that's coming to my mind. Of course is Gemini. Gemini is the most famous mutable sign, of course, and we are talking about Pisces as well being mutable water. So when we talk about mutability, we're talking about Not being stable and I say that kind of in the most loving way Because sometimes we need a little bit of chaos in order to get to the heart of truth or to the heart of just life itself, you know some philosophers say life is just one beautiful chaotic mess and It's our job to kind of navigate that and make the best of it. So when we talk about Sagittarius speaking of philosophers Sagittarius is the philosopher Sagittarius is the spiritualist the truth seeker the educator the guru the wisdom keeper one who expands in Consciousness, but also can expand in waist size actually to when we're dealing with rising signs Because ruled by Jupiter, right? Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter. We're talking about expansion and this is expansion in all dimensions So sometimes Sagittarius risings can put on weight kind of faster than somebody else That's not a thing that happens. That's not like a for-sure thing, but it definitely is part of the story and it's not really It's I don't want to say it's a stereotype for a reason but it's just been known in the astrology worlds that Expanding in size is just always part of the Sagittarius Energy especially when it's a rising sign because we're talking about the body. We're talking about the the self, right? but beyond that appearances which Honestly, I take with a grain of salt in astrology as far as what our appearance can look like based upon the zodiac sign And our rising but really it's just about The energy we're giving off to people like what do people see us as right? so If someone looks at a Sagittarius rising we're talking about someone who is very very strong in their beliefs someone who is constantly preaching what they believe in and someone who Might be restless and enthusiastic, right? Someone who's optimistic maybe to the point of going like come on man Like relax like there is some things in life that aren't that uh happy But um, but Sagittarius people they like to come to the world to solve problems They like to think deeply but sometimes if they think too deeply and they believe in something they really believe that's the only belief right, so Sagittarius risings very much have to be in Tune with other people's beliefs and other people's philosophies because they may think what they believe in is the only thing that exists and Other than that, this is what makes them so jovial because they're so able to kind of grasp on to new ideas and to be constantly curious about the world and learning and just expanding in every way possible Sagittarius is also very much known for their interest in cultures and again knowledge and wisdom and Also activities so Sagittarius risings might actually be very very very very active in Physical pursuits. So again, we're talking about the chaos of the fire signs where Leo is fixed Very stubborn and all about leadership and wanting to take control Aries we're talking about free spiritedness. We're talking about being assertive and aggressive and Paving their own way in life, but Sagittarius we're talking about being all over the place we're talking about expansion of physical abilities we're talking about traveling and stuff people might know a Sagittarius rising for their complete and utter interest in the world and just culture and wanting to travel to places So if someone is not traveling physically, they're traveling within their heart soul spirit in mind So Sagittarius energy is very philosophical Very worldly very active and some other key words are yeah I have some notes in front of me optimistic restless enthusiastic Adventurous honest, but then also we're talking about being irresponsible outspoken and That is where the negative part of where people might see a Sagittarius rising, right? We're talking about people who might be a little reckless in their beliefs a little bit Reckless and what they do in the world because they are just maybe sometimes so excited to learn and to experience So as a rising sign This is what people might see you as people might witness this about you People might know this about you, right?
