Guns and puppies. I should commit a
crime. Listen guys, America is a very
insane country. Let me explain why.
Today I'm outside of the bull over in
Wall Street. Look at all the tourists.
You know, this represents American
capitalism, the stock market, the power
that America has. But yo, I got to tell
you, America is just a wild, wild place.
Cuz I've been thinking about it more as
I've been traveling more. Also, my
brother David, he obviously lives abroad
right now in Bangkok. So obviously I
I've been definitely having a lot more
like outsider thoughts lately. Reason
number one is that America's patchwork
state laws are insanely different from
one another. Number two is America loves
criminals. And number three, America's
still the best at a lot of things. So
let's talk about reason number one. You
know, they call it the United States of
America. And yeah, we're all kind of
united. Like Taylor Swift sells out in
every city, but that's really about it.
You can buy a militaryra AR-15 in a lot
of states faster than you can adopt a
dog. like, "Hey buddy, you want a AR-15?
You know, I'm let me do a little
background check." Oh, you're good to
go. Here you go. Oh, I'm sorry. You want
to adopt a dog? Well, you know, we're
going to have to need the application
process. We're going to interview you.
Then you're going to Zoom call us from
your home and then you're going to come
in and meet the dog. And just in case
you make the dog go crazy, you can't
have your puppy. What some laws say that
might make you a patriot literally makes
you a felon in the next state. basically
where you can buy a gun, buy weed, get
an abortion, and what the age and
consent is is so wildly different from
state to state. And literally, yeah, you
can just cross over a state line.
There's no border, there's no checking,
there's no customs you have to go
through. It's just you just cross a
state line and it's completely
different. And so that's why when people
say, yeah, it's really like a patchwork.
You know, we're not actually made of the
same thing, but we are sewn together.
And by the way, this diversity of the
state laws, I do believe is a beautiful,
beautiful thing. But it's also very,
very complicated. By the way, loves
tacos. Number one, some of the best
tacos in New York. Just face it. You
know, it's true. Funny enough, I was
walking past this building and I smelled
this like, you know, spicy chicken like
flavorful herbaceious aroma. And then I
was like, "Yo, what am I smelling? What
spot is this?" I look up and it's
Chipotle. I mean, listen, you don't
think it's insane that you can carry
around a AR-15 in public in Texas and
Arizona, but then if you even bring that
gun into California state lines, you're
a felon and it's a crime. So, obviously,
not all states see crimes the same, and
all states are pretty different. I'm not
saying there's a right or wrong answer,
but I will tell you this, as much as
people want self-defense out in New York
City, if everybody had a gun, it would
be kind of an insane place, especially
with this density of people. I guess
those are the two things that America
loves, guns and puppies. So, they love
the guns so you can have all the guns
you want, but then they love the puppies
so that they got to background check you
and make sure you're not going to be an
abusive dog parent. And my point number
two is America loves criminals. And
right behind me is Wall Street where
some of the finest criminals in the
world operate. I'm just kidding, man.
I'm a capitalist. Go invest in the spy.
QQQ. Do whatever you need to do. I'm
just kidding. America loves criminals,
especially if you have money and you're
charismatic. So, this is a really funny
thing that America does is like I think
we love like police. We love the heroes.
We love the firefighters. We love like
judging people and trials and justice.
We love it. But then we also love
criminals and we love redemption
stories. And we love people who have
fallen to the
bottom, committed crimes, hurt other
people. They've fallen to the bottom,
but yet they bounce back up and become
famous. Like basically, the bigger the
crime, the better the Netflix
documentary is. I mean, just think of
all the criminals, killers, fraudsters
who have gotten actually more famous
after it happened. Or even people who
everybody knew did the crime but still
got off free and then still managed to
have a career in media. Man, those
crows, pigeons were flying fast. You
know what else I learned randomly about
pigeons is that those pigeons are not
native to North America. They were
brought over by the Dutch. Let me be
very, very clear here. I am not saying
people do not deserve second chances.
We've all gotten second chances in life.
We've all made mistakes and someone
compassionate forgave us. But I just
don't
know if the crime should give you clout
instead of the cuffs. And then once
you're out of the cuffs, you get more
clout and you get street credit. And it
kind of made me think, what is the
historical context for all this?
Considering America was built on a
rebellion originally and also the Wild
Wild West was also just a bunch of
criminals running around but also
building a lot of stuff in the West
Coast. And then not only that, I do
think it has to do with capitalism and
the entrepreneurial spirit of failing
up.
Uh yeah, I mean also Hollywood kind of
promotes it. So it's really just a
really glorified thing to do is to be a
criminal. Like actually to be cool in
America, you kind of have to do a crime.
Maybe that's why I'm not cool
enough. I should commit a crime.
I'm going to steal something. All right.
All right. That's not the crime that I
wanted to commit. Okay. That's not
really going to give me the clout that I
need for the next step of my career.
Yeah. Criminals, comeback stories,
redemption. People love it. They love it
more than if you were just good your
entire time. Cuz if you are just a goody
two shoe your entire time, you did
everything right. You're corny. Point
number three is despite all this,
America is still the best at a lot of
stuff. Okay, maybe affordable healthcare
is not the one. and maybe average test
scores as far as math and science goes.
Probably not it, but best fast food,
best
coffee, best uh expensive vegan
soap, best fries, best multinational
chains, best athletes, best sports in
general, best military, best
universities, most exported pop culture,
best music. Still a lot of the big and
best tech companies are coming from
America. Apple, Microsoft,
Amazon,
Nvidia. Best career mobility. It's
probably still the best country for an
hardworking immigrant who's locked in to
come here and really raise themsel up
levels within just a span of like 10
years. Definitely the best
Asian-American YouTubers. I mean, it's
not even close for that
one. Hey, what's up everybody? My Lost
Talk is number one. I met uh this lady
who's visiting from Ecuador. She owns a
coffee shop in Ecuador.
Okay.
Looks great. Amazing. Very, very, very
Can I get one carneasada on corn and
that's it? Oh, corn, please. Conto
everything. Oh, check out this taco
though, man. And when you come to Los
Tacos, number one, make sure you get
this crispy chili. It almost reminds me
of like a Sichuan chili pepper right
here. And it's like fried and you can
stick it onto your apple.
Corn tortilla. So soft, fluffy.
M that smoky fried pepper too at the
top. I love Los Taco Simulan. Back to
the video is like let me know what you
guys think about these thoughts that I
have. It's kind of setting the tone for
a series of videos that I'm going to be
releasing later. But I just kind of
wanted to get this out. Like America is
an amazing country for a lot of reasons,
but it's also an insane country. So, if
you guys like my thoughts, definitely
subscribe to our non-spammy newsletter
down below so I can get your email and
we can uh contact you directly about
certain things. You know that I won't
spam you. I don't try to sell you some

maybe I do a live stream or something.

Amazon. But yeah, let me know what you
guys think about this. America's
insane. It's a good country though. But
insane. Might have the best tacos. I
don't know. I don't want to diss on, you
know, where tacos actually come from,
but just a lot of the great people who
make tacos are already in America now.
Oh, that's one of the reasons
