Xinyu Wang Vs. Elena Rybakina 2025 Strasbourg Round Of 16 | WTA Match Highlights.

Now her coach to travel with her has admitted that Stefano Vukov is still helping her. We know all about the power that Rebakina possesses. Swats that one away. Yeah, big difference when she finds the first serve. A little loose in truth from the Chinese player. A few unforced errors in the game and a tidy tennis from Rebakina. That's sweetly timed. The backhand up the court has been more assured than the forehand so far today. It's amazing how big the gap can become against a server like Rebakina. It's just the one break and dealt with that ball very well. It got awkward. Oh, there's another devastating shot this time off the return. Flies long. Overall an exceptional set of tennis from Elena Rebakina. And he was able to win one match in Madrid and Rome in each of those tournaments. But she's a set away from winning her opening match here in Strasbourg. Impressive first set. Takes it 6-1 in just 28 minutes. It wasn't a bad first serve but comes back with interest. I have to say I thought it looked long but someone who is quite calm and doesn't show her emotion too much. That's the first point Wong has won against the Rebakina serve in this set. Wow! It's a bazooka of a forehand from Rebakina. And this time Rebakina converts the break point. Well in truth it's a performance that epitomizes everything that's great about Elena Rebakina. Devastating attacking tennis from start to finish. And she gets the better of Wong Xinyu in straight sets. I think to try and kick start her clay court swing really after picking up just two wins combined in Madrid and Rome after an excellent start in Strasbourg. And she's through to her first quarterfinal since she reached the semifinals in February of Dubai.
