A few Mushrooms in the fridge and some essential spices in the pantry.
That's all you need to make this easy and delicious Stuffed Mushrooms.
I've taken around 9-10 Button Mushrooms here.
And I've cleaned it nicely with a wet tissue.
And then lightly just peeled off the skin.
Just remove the stem.
And the stem is absolutely edible.
So you can roughly chop it and I'm going to use it in the filling.
So my Mushroom caps are ready.
First I'm going to start with making the marinade.
For that I'm going to take 2 tbsp of Curd.
Into this I'm going to add 1 tbsp of Gram Flour.
Next, all the dry spices.
1 tsp of Amchur or Raw Mango Powder.
1 tsp of Coriander Powder.
1 tsp of Red Chilli Powder.
2 pinches of Turmeric Powder.
1 tsp of Garam Masala.
1 tsp of Ginger Paste.
And 1 tsp of Garlic Paste.
Just a little bit of Salt.
And mix all these ingredients properly.
I've used Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder.
And that's why it's giving you such a beautiful colour.
Now, onto the pan to make the stuffing.
For that I'm going to heat 1 tsp of Oil.
Next I'm going to add half an Onion, finely chopped.
Half a Capsicum, finely chopped.
Just cook this for a minute.
And next I'm going to add the roughly chopped stems of the Mushroom.
Also, 1 finely chopped Green Chilli.
Next, I'm going to add 1 tbsp of the marination.
Just mix it in properly.
And let it cook for a few seconds.
The mixture is ready and now I'm going to let it cool down.
The mixture has cooled down.
Into this, I'm going to add some Coriander Leaves.
Into this, I'm going to add 1 slice of Bread Crumbs.
1 tbsp of Mozzarella Cheese.
And very little Salt.
Mix all these ingredients properly.
And now, back into the bowl.
I'm going to mix the marination with these Mushroom Caps.
Make sure they're nicely coated.
Into these marinated Mushrooms,
I'm going to stuff a little bit of the mixture.
Press it properly so that it doesn't fall out.
And now I'm going to place these Mushrooms stuffed side down first.
Once you get a nice brown colour, just flip them over.
Alternately, you can even make this in the oven.
Just bake them at 180 degrees for around 12 to 15 minutes.
And now, I'm going to cover the pan.
And let these cook for another 5 to 7 minutes.
7 minutes are up, I'm going to check on the Mushrooms.
They're nicely cooked.
And ready to plate.
Turn off the flame.
Of course, since they are dry, have to be served as an appetizer.
The other thing you can do with this is pour some gravy onto it.
And mop it up with some Chapatis or Parathas.
Do give this a try, let me know how they turned out.
See you next time, bye-bye.
Mmm-mmm.
