Paula Badosa vs. Liudmila Samsonova | 2025 Strasbourg Quarterfinal | WTA Match Highlights.

Let's hope she gets through this one against Sam Sonova. Oh, wow. Certainly moving freely there. Berosa was there, ready, waiting for the forehand to come to it. Again, there's the confidence. A superstar. The end of the third set, so it's a lot of standing around, a lot of... Again, great drop shot. A lot of mental strength for both players to be ready to come out sharp. It's so important. That's a nice hat. There's the drop shot again. Drop shot on fire right now for Sam Sonova. A chance to get a break. That's delicately done. Drop shot. Oh, that is extraordinary. Bounce back on Sam Sonova's side. She made the semifinals last year and she's a set away from doing the same in 2025. A really good set of tennis from the eighth seed. Has that found the baseline? It has. That's some shot because it didn't look like that. Good drop shots. And there it is again. And played to perfection once again. Well, in truth, a little bit of a scrappy set, but it's a set of tennis that will do Paola Berosa the world of good. After the injury issues coming into this week, showing great mental toughness to get through the second set, and we head to a decider. Sam Sonova has turned it back on again. Superb game from the eighth seed. Superbly done. Oh, it's beautiful. Has it found the baseline? It has just. Well, she went the scenic route, but gets over the line in the end. And it's a case of déjà vu for Ludmilla Samsonova. The second year running into the semifinals in Strasbourg. Good to see Paola Berosa smiling. Great to see her back on the tennis court after the injury issues. And you have to say overall looking pretty good, this band, when you consider the timeout. She certainly tested the eighth seed, but it is Sam Sonova who makes the last four.
