All right guys, in today's video,
Kenny and I are gonna show you what you can get
for 1.1 million in Ewa Beach.
All right, Kenny, what's the address?
91-865 Maake Kula Street.
Checking my pronunciation already.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
We're gonna go ahead and show you the rest of this home.
You know what was cool?
On the call, they said Kenny has been
the best real estate agent for us.
So it's interesting, because you live in Hoakalei.
How long do you think you can get here?
Four minutes?
Five minutes?
They would have bought Hoakalei,
but for what they wanted to pay or could pay,
they couldn't get as much home as they wanted.
And so they came here
because they wanted a place for family
to stay when they come over, et cetera.
Multiple family situation.
And to achieve that in Hoakalei, 1.4 to 2 plus million.
At the time that they bought, for sure,
it would have been at least in the 1314s
for the square footage.
And no HOA is worth mentioning as well.
And now in Hoakalei, 1.6 million to 2 million plus,
depending on are you on the golf course or you're not.
Potentially half a million dollar difference
in loan terms, which is potentially $3,000 less
per month.
And so this is a rare find that might not even pop up
on everyone's search feed.
So we're going to go in and show you guys.
We'll start with the garage.
The garage is kind of tricked out.
When I see a homeowner who has a clean,
well put together garage,
I feel confident about the rest of other homeowners.
As I say that, I realized how bust up my garage is.
They have this water softening system
that I think cost somewhere around $6,000.
Yeah, filtration and water softener needs to be specified
because there's a lot of water softener systems,
but it's just salt pellets or it's just softener.
They finished the garage floor, shelving stays.
Yes.
Another thing to know in a community like this,
because you probably have more than two people.
This was only two people at most times.
In a community like this,
you want to make sure you have ample parking.
Some of these homes have maybe more driveway square footage,
but then it's all tandem and trandem and quadrupled up.
Flag lot parking, long driveway,
but got to shuffle them around every time.
Whereas here you could, I mean,
depending on the kind of cars,
one, two, three, four, easily five, if not more.
Smaller car, five, three trucks, three, four SUVs.
They park a truck in the driveway
and they park an SUV in the garage
and they don't bother each other and it works out well.
There's plenty of space and it has grass.
That's probably the more unique thing
for the immediate hidden neighborhood here
is there's only a few homes that actually have a yard
and a driveway for extra cars.
A lot of times in these neighborhoods,
people concrete the whole thing.
Yes.
But buyers like grass.
People like having grass
and their grass is well taken care of.
There's a mud room in this house.
There is.
Mud rooms are meant for cold weather
and muddy boots, right?
Yep.
There's a mud room.
Can we call it a sand room?
Is that accurate?
That's a good one.
Sand room.
Surf drop.
I like that.
We should have put that in the listing video.
Sand room.
Oh, you know what?
It's because you guys saw me taking my shoes off there.
Don't come after Kenny.
He's taking his shoes off too.
Yeah.
I didn't come inside the house yet.
I promise.
So you come in here to the downstairs,
but I want to show you the upstairs first.
All right, guys.
So this home is five bedrooms, three bathrooms.
2,570 total square feet.
Interior is 2,434.
And then you've got covered lanai
on the side and at the front.
This screams 2,500 plus square foot.
In this area, I feel like I could open a jujitsu gym,
a restaurant.
I mean, there's Hawaii dives that are smaller than this.
A lot of sunlight, big open spaces.
Obviously a lot of square footage and room count.
Two good size guest rooms up here
and a full bathroom for those guests
to share right behind Kenji.
What you can see is a big open family space.
There's another really good size family space downstairs
with another two bed, one bathroom,
full bath downstairs as well.
So it's a very flexible space with a ton of room
for everybody to occupy it as they see fit.
Come with me.
Let's rank this kitchen.
It's a good generous size,
especially for a Hawaii kitchen.
They decided to take the doors off here
and make this an open shelf look.
They painted it, put the subway tiles.
What do you guys think?
I like the way that it flows.
I like the way that it feels.
Leave me a comment.
This kitchen, she go or she no go?
All right, so another big primary bedroom.
I could open a jujitsu gym or restaurant in here as well.
It's probably a smaller one.
It's probably a stepping stone to my eventual business,
but this is good size.
The king bed plus desk plus yoga.
Like you can do everything in here.
TV, dresser, lounge chairs, walk-in closet over there.
So what do you guys think about this bathroom?
This is the en suite primary bathroom.
You only see this setup in a more high end home.
One of the places you see it is down in Ward
and the Howard Hughes new developments.
One, two, three, four million dollar condos.
You have the pairing of bath and shower.
I actually like the way this one is
because sometimes you have the bathtub
and it looks all cool
because it's sitting kind of free from the walls.
But who's gonna clean that?
When you have six inches here and standing water
and you know, who's gonna clean that?
So I like the way that this is seamless.
Makes more sense.
I like the fact that it's a full size shower
because a lot of homes in this price point
and in this area, the shower is just a closet.
It's more attached to the end of the bathtub.
Bump elbow on the wall all the time.
So we're gonna speed through the rest of the upstairs
and we'll get downstairs for you guys to come with me.
All right.
So first guest bedroom up here.
This is where your kids, your mother-in-law,
actually we're gonna put your mother-in-law downstairs.
We have ample space here
should you allow her to stay upstairs.
Here's the other guest bedroom.
You can put the other sibling in here.
You could put two twins in here
and get the little kids in here away from the teenagers.
Oh, I was trying to think of what I was gonna say.
This is the other bathroom.
Kenji will show it to you.
This is where mother-in-law goes.
My mother-in-law.
I don't know about yours.
Yeah, my mom would go down there.
That's the thing is you have this.
It's entirely separate from the other area.
If you wanted to treat it more like a rental
and a house hack,
you know what this house would be cool for?
A military person,
single who's gonna load it with roommates.
You could potentially, potentially get to the point
where you're basically living mortgage-free.
Someone else is paying and you have a room or a couch.
You could have two roommates here
and they would probably be happy to share this space
and a wet bar.
And this is not official real estate advice,
but I feel like this is a community
where you might be able to get away with that.
So the neighbors aren't gonna be like,
hey, you have five guys in your house.
That's just my read.
That's not official real estate advice.
Guest bedroom number one down here.
This is on the yard side.
It's also on the sunset side.
So it'll be shaded and cooler in the morning
and early afternoon.
And then you can catch a sunset.
Did I mention the home gym?
Have you ever Murphy bedded?
I think this makes a ton of sense.
And I'm thinking about doing it in a home
that I just purchased
because our fourth bedroom is gonna be like an office.
With the Murphy bed up,
most of the time it can mostly not dominate the space
of my office,
but still be there if my father-in-law is over late
playing cards or someone's coming over
for a week from the mainland,
I'll have the bed.
And they make them where it's actually an office desk
when you fold it up.
So you could actually even get a little bit more flexible
with it if you wanted to.
When you are house hacking,
whether that's for profit,
cause you're a military person
who's gonna have a bunch of roommates
or you have your mom downstairs or your kid downstairs,
it's nice to have two separate outdoor areas.
So you can have their barbecue here
and you can sip your scotch over there.
Both at the front door and on the yard side.
And then here on this backside,
as the yard wraps around,
there's room for barbecue
and another dining table and chairs
or a couple of loungers,
however you wanna use it.
It's just a good covered space.
A lot of homes in Ewa,
this is the backyard and the patio anyway.
It's just this.
Yeah.
And so this is just the bonus patio.
We have the whole front.
Easy to gate this in,
if you wanted to do a dog run on this side
and you can gate it in on the backside here
and leave the front yard open.
As you go around to the driveway,
the driveway is gated as well.
So this whole yard ends up being gated.
Oh.
I thought someone was calling us.
It's a solar door knocker.
Don't talk to the people who are knocking your door.
It's still solar.
Call us.
We have more solar people for you.
All right?
They added a bunch of extra split ACs
from the builder,
only the primary bedroom and upstairs,
downstairs living spaces had them.
They put them in all the bedrooms.
This is a better yard space.
This is where I'm sipping my scotch.
This is where you're sipping your scotch.
You know what I like?
Sunset.
The water, if ever,
it runs away from your house.
Yes.
We are elevated.
I like that.
All right, guys.
So that was the house.
Come with us.
Let's go check out the beach and a place to eat.
So this is the closest beach.
Although there are multiple beaches
that are close to that home,
but this is also an underrated beach on the island.
Not everyone can't get in here.
Right.
Unless it's a certain food truck day or an event,
or you tell them you're going to the leasing office.
Yes.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday,
or Sunday morning are days that you can come.
As long as this little kitchen spot behind us
is open and serving,
you can just say you're going there.
Wednesday night is the food truck night.
The kitchen is closed.
They serve drinks on Wednesdays for the food trucks.
So that's the-
Alcoholic drink.
Yeah.
Okay.
And calm waters.
Good place to get in.
Just get wet.
This view of Diamond Head.
So this used to be Iroquois Point.
If you go on a race there,
you probably see Iroquois Point,
but it's Kapilina Beach Homes now.
It's the old Navy housing turned into a rental area.
The proximity to this beach,
and look, there's one, two, three pictures of sun,
four people on the beach.
For just chilling, far underrated.
The view across the harbor and over to town
is very much underrated.
But you got Ewa Beach Park,
Howe Bush, White Plains, and Nimitz.
Nimitz is kind of like this,
but it's more reefy and not as much sand.
Yeah.
All right, guys.
