The day Frank Lampard showed Cavani who is the boss!

Apologies in advance for the man flu don't come too close to the television tonight Walter Matsaris Napoli one of the best counter-attacking teams around Terry Lampard and Essien and yet they have a younger average age than Napoli. Shot by Sturridge Kicked out by Desantis I'm not sure how much the Napoli goalkeeper saw that snapshot from Daniel Surridge. Ramirez had good movement ahead of him a side flight up against Sturridge it won't count It was the flick on from Sturridge that attracted the Lions fans flag. Maggio a little unfortunate Hamshik about to turn spot by the outstretched leg of Pedecek it was an anxious rather play goes on Marek Hamshik into the path of Christian Maggio Cavani arriving far post Side netting Chelsea cut open there the speed of the counter-attacks of Napoli is something they've got to be aware of. Brilliant stuff again wasn't it fantastic run from Maggio I'm thinking initially that Cannavara has pretty much every set play so far club has been overhit from the Chelsea perspective. Avesi onside here he tested check the support was a little slow in arriving and Ezequiel Avesi who scored in his last five games for Napoli great movement still Zuniga Napoli are being allowed to shoot almost at will here yep Chelsea are laboring when they're going back towards their own goal they're looking for that Ramirez in towards Didier Drogba and it's one of the real he scored the breakthrough goal for Chelsea and now he can rally everybody for Sturridge he's beaten Zuniga, Drogba's there so too in the nick of time it's Hugo Campagnaro brilliant run from Daniel Sturridge again Branislav Ivanovic on Mata crossed in towards Sturridge this time didn't quite get enough on it timed his run well and it was a searching cross from Mata yeah teasing delivered play behind Mata Sturridge has recovered on Mata and now Michael Essien on his less favoured left foot but it was a skimmer his weaker side Clive isn't it that one I think we all get the feeling here tonight that yeah you're right what you said just now can they keep the clean sheet but certainly if they can get the delivery right Cole again Terry Ramirez is arriving here Zuniga gave him a little shoulder to shoulder nudge but it's fallen for Drogba to cross and it might come for Sturridge important defending that by Veronica at the expense of a corner kick to Chelsea yeah important decision wasn't it for Mata stepped into the path of David Luiz onside crossed in towards Drogba might come for Mata but somehow it rolled gratefully into the hands of Morgan de Sanctis they survived that moment Napoli more by luck than judgment it's been kind of half we expected Chelsea as they happen in every European game this season have scored the first goal Chelsea are halfway there they need another though at half time at Stamford Bridge it's Chelsea one Napoli nil Lampard takes it towards Terry Chelsea Chelsea who are going into De Sena Terry away this is Gokhan Inle sweet sweet strike from Inle and Chelsea will need another now just to take it to extra time that changes everything Napoli have their away goal she ran away from Mata he then ran into away from him Ivanovic Torres is onside here not sure that De Sanctis saw it until it was right upon him Napoli have got a free kick all the victim Drogba and Drogba could say that came in a nice hide in the end for De Sanctis but he had to move smartly to his right what an effort from Drogba looking to run David Luiz across comes Terry he's loving this by Terry again the back heel from Cavani he's got Zuniga in here Zuniga oh it came off Lebezi after Cech had made the save fell kindly through Ivanovic to Lampard who wants to take this Lampard yes plays that one from Chelsea alive talked about a lot over there in the build-up to this game I think Napoli knew what was coming here tonight for penalty I think down across came Luiz Drogba good tackle that by Lebezi kick has gone Napoli's way Ivanovic has gone rolling over and over it's Drogba actually initially got caught by Lebezi when he steps inside there Cavani tried the head and Luiz's foot was high in went Hamsik great challenge from Cole corner Drogba silly silly free kick to give away there from Campagnolo he can do nothing about Drogba dropping that off to Ashley Cole he can't affect the ball Didier Drogba couldn't get it to come down Marek Hamsik in towards Lebezi just couldn't quite grow enough trade boy excellent ball in Gargano it was the top of the net there was an element of surprise about it in towards Drogba now is he being held no says the referee get to your feet Veronica was the defender are you ready for some more you're gonna get some more after 90 minutes it's finished Chelsea 3 Napoli 1 it's 4-4 on aggregate we've got extra time coming up in just a moment do not go away Mata takes Ivanovic it's a free header you know he knows it's good in the air Lebezi he's found a yard and found a cross and Hamsik couldn't have hit it any better and it could have been much closer flushes that doesn't he Hamsik hits it so well perhaps too well if he scuffs it slightly mishits it Drogba early forward for Fernando Torres to chase or goal has miscalculated Fernando Torres stage was set for him angle awkward element of surprise that he even got the chance couldn't convert what the goalkeeper's doing I do not know Ivanovic in towards Fernando Torres it's Henry's goal words it's on the roof of the net it's a decent effort it's actually a decent clip this one from Ivanovic critical some of his first half passes that one got him behind them Drogba good turn Ivanovic need to counter-attack Chelsea have made it they've made it to the quarterfinals final score here at Stamford Bridge is Chelsea 4 Napoli 1
