Van Life in ICELAND as a Woman 🇮🇸 is NOT What I Expected (Winter Road Trip)

welcome to Iceland thank you if he's filming on this you know it's going to be really good hey the place where we are right now it's just insane well it is cold apparently Game of Thrones was filmed here Wow Fresh Mountain Water amazing oh it looks so unreal [Music] let's go on a little Adventure works like magic every time just booked a flight for 700 US dollars with way away going to Europe with Emirates all packed up let's go oh would be wise to lock the door when I'm leaving right [Music] touchdown in Iceland it is Frosty [Music] I traveled 39 hours to get to my bucket list destination it is currently minus 12 degrees and although I'm freezing you see me smiling I'm so so happy to be in Iceland so I ventured out for a little adventure and I'm going to camp for a week in Iceland and it's going to be freaking amazing but I'm not here by myself I have some friends with me and I also want to show you my little home for the next week so let's go this is my whip from Happy campers so I'm going to drive this car and basically sleep here for the next week and let me introduce you to some company knock knock breakfast what are you eating avocado toast oh yum healthy welcome to the Vlog here it's the first time on Nellie's life this is Joey hi Joey hey good morning good morning you are the Iceland Pro well nah we'll see we'll get we get we're getting there we're hoping so yeah we've gotten you here that far so yeah so far so good I would say neither Nelly and I are the pro so you better be so Joey traveled to Iceland several times he loves it here and he's going to basically show us his favorite spots I guess right yes more and more and we are jumping straight into the adventure we're currently here at midgard base camp and we're going on a little hike so it's going to be a fun day what a whip oh front seat huh VIP wow look at that rig serious business here you have to check out Joey's YouTube channel it's linked down below I mean if you're swimming on this you know it's going to be really good as you can see now it's pretty cold so the water is frozen so it's not a problem it's not the river crossing but now basically because it's not been fixed since last summer this is the water's car like really high steps to go in and out okay so as I said not too much water a bit steep Crossing and the further we go in than the bigger and the harder we want to go foreign [Music] foreign we don't really need to go there but we can just for fun just to go across the river [Music] thank you [Music] hey we just got off the car because the place where we are right now is just insane this is this is something else it's just so amazing so we are going to get a few shots of the car going through the river and just enjoy the stunning View that was fun right got a camera away she has a special talent of just ruining his camera gear reach a spot where we're going to hike a little bit but before I just wanted to show you in Ultra wide look at this this is absolutely absolutely crazy okay it's so good that we have these big tires because otherwise we wouldn't have made it through the rivers but now we just stopped by these little Huts it's like a little brick and now we're going to go up for the hike [Music] foreign coffee break spot anyway guys this is Michael right yeah yeah our tour guide oh nice oh the only one that's pretty good right I mean look at this view this is pretty much the best coffee shop in the world you're right that's your coffee thank you oh I'm going to take a sip with this backdrop ah oh there are like mountains everywhere oh coffee nice [Music] we made it down and we are very thirsty so we're just going to grab some water from the river [Applause] how does it taste like tea like tea wow fresh Mountain Water amazing [Music] [Music] okay next up on our tour is the Jon Snow Canyon apparently Game of Thrones was filmed here we got really obsessed with the river with the super nice structure that you can see here and I mean use on every corner it's really hard I have to I have to trim these videos to like 15 to 18 minute Vlogs so I think it's going to be a few Vlogs it's just so much to see it's incredible [Music] um all right we made it to our next stop and as you can already see we are at black sand beach we have some green waves in the background wow [Music] waterfall here I'll check the location later so day but whoa it is cold but I think it's going to be worth it [Music] oh wow Iceland unreal [Music] everything is freezing my pole is freezing okay gotta move a little bit away because wow when the water hits you with the cold explain how cold it is it's just like I think the left side of my eye of the left side of my face is just Frozen I just don't feel it anymore hi Joey hello yeah get that shot so we found another waterfall that is a little bit more busy I would say that's equally beautiful famous one this is the famous one okay okay this is oh yeah uh careful so this is what is it called uh slogan Forest it's cold it's cool guy first okay Joey is the one Joyce it's called our first Chicago for us [Music] [Applause] all right so we just came all the way up to the top the upstairs how are you doing Joey with the heavy rig seven Bar Seven kilo handlebar okay Pierre was sprinting up I was just in a hurry to see the nice view foreign [Music] with me it's very cool but I mean the views like this it's just so rewarding to come together and with them [Music] okay of all the waterfalls that we visited today this is definitely my favorite one I mean look how insane this just everything just looks so unreal is real it's just mind-blowing and this is actually really empty so I can't can't get tired of this view it's such a cool spot here behind the ice the Cults here yeah beautiful so do I just oh wow I just found this spot look at that wow cinematics on ports oh all right just when I thought it can't get better than this we found this spot unreal [Music] [Applause] I never made it to the glacier you can see it right there so Joe is flying the Drone for a second and I'm just going to enjoy the view ah a little bit all right so we just found a piece of ice can you guys believe this is might be like a few million Euros or old or like many millions what does it taste like prehistoric ice taste hmm the little taste of dinosaur so this crazy Talent of finding everyday object everyday object like ice and just make an epic photo shoot out of it so in your size and also he sells a course we can learn to do photography 30 days 30 days so I will link that below and also check out his YouTube channel he's probably going to post about this uh these pictures they turned on a pretty pretty said I have to okay we made it up to this spot it's pretty epic looks so good that Joey is taking some new pictures for his dating profile just [Music] so we are currently walking on the glacier pretty dark no look it's like a lot of sand Ash is it yeah I mean like all these like black Parts especially in the crevices like all black ash from the eruptions that happened over the hundreds and thousands and millions can you say the name of the volcano you're so good at it you know the the main one oh the one that went off in 2010 not 100 sure if it's accurate but this is soul Hammer yakult which is the space area it's good to have somebody who can pronounce all these things yeah this is the name of the Geisha a bit of History [Music] we made it to black sand beach and honestly the drive here was just so scenic and so incredibly beautiful I cannot put it into words you have to see it for yourself everything is just so minimalistic so this the the nature and the surroundings speak for themselves and I'm so happy that I chose to take a ride with happy camper because it's just you know it's just different when you can explore by yourself and just stop by wherever you want and take your time and just take it all in I'm so looking forward to that beach now and we reached another epic spot I mean there are two bridal shootings going on here we're currently walking on black sand beach and this is the spot we're talking about there's one bride over there another bride over there seems to be these spots for wedding shootings and apparently this rock formation is made by nature and I couldn't believe it because I said I mean is this man-made because it looks man-made but apparently it's Nature Made from the volcanic some something something like everything here in Iceland it just looks epic oh beautiful bride congratulations it looks like the rocks have hair right what it looks like the rocks have hair oh they're Birds on top but also here can you see it between the hair The Nest so here's another cave and right there we have some rocks wow it looks [Music] it looks [Music] all right I am back at my happy camper slept over there in the past few days had some amazing amazing First Impressions I can highly highly recommend renting a camper for this trip because the experiences that we will make is just it's just incredible it's just incredible I'm going to close the Vlog right here because I'm
