so in this video i want to compare the
skincare brand lumen with the skincare
brand apricots and when it comes to both
of these brands i've tried them out
respectfully for more than 60 days where
i analyzed the skincare products and
they affected it on my skin and those in
this video i want to compare both of
these brands to help you find the best
skin care regimen for you and when it
comes to being able to make these videos
it takes me a lot of time and effort
because initially i need to try both
these brands out for a certain time
period and then i analyze both of these
brands to find the best fit for you and
thus if you really appreciate videos
like this please leave a thumbs up for
the youtube algorithm and also consider
to hit the subscribe button if you'd
like to see more comparison videos like
this anyways with that said let's get
started so when it comes to lumen the
main products are the charcoal cleanser
exfoliating rub moisturizing bomb dark
circle defense and this is a product
that africa's skin doesn't offer at the
moment lumen also offers quite a lot of
other products such as the anti-wrinkle
serum and the recovery oil and when it
comes to africa's skin it's quite a new
brand and thus it doesn't offer all of
those skin care products and thus i
think it's only fair if i compare the
charcoal cleanser the exfoliating rope
and the moisturizing bone with the
apricor skin products because
alternative for the charcoal cleanser is
the apricor's face wash the alternative
for the exfoliating rub is the apricot's
exfoliating scrub and the alternative
for the moisturizing balm is the
abracast moisturizer so let's compare
the first section of products the
charcoal cleanser with the apricot's
face wash and when it comes to the
charcoal cleanser it's a product to get
rid of all of the oil buildup and all of
the dirt on your face and in terms of
the charcoal cleanser it's quite an
efficient product if you are someone
that has oily skin and if you are
someone that just generally want to take
care of your skin however some
individuals with extremely sensitive
skin have mentioned that it was too
intense for them but besides that
minority for the majority of individuals
the charcoal cleanse is really really
good the africa's face wash is a product
that will instantly cleanse and energize
your skin and has ingredients like aloe
vera and jojoba oil in it which will
leave you with a bright clear complexion
while effectively removing acne causing
bacteria and when it comes to the
apricor's face wash it has more of a
minty smell to it and when it comes to
this product after using this product it
leaves a cooling effect on my face so
the difference between these two
products after using them for more than
60 days respectfully in my opinion is
that when it comes to the charcoal
cleanser it generally gets rid of all of
the oil buildup and all the dirt on your
face when it comes to the face wash by
apricot skin this product is made for
those individuals that want to have more
of a brighter skin i want to get rid of
more of those acne causing bacteria but
at the same time this product doesn't
get rid of all of the oil buildup in my
opinion this product is less harsh and
gives you that cooling effect and thus
this is better for those individuals
they have more of a sensitive skin but
when it comes to the lumen charcoal
cleanser this is a product that's
perfect for the everyday guy moving on
to the lumen exfoliating rub this is a
product that you use after the charcoal
cleanser to give your skin a deep clean
so after getting rid of all of the oil
buildup and all of the dirt causing
bacteria on your face now it's time to
give your skin a deep clean go deep
inside of your pores penetrate inside to
gently make sure your skin is very very
clean and when it comes to the lumen
exfoliating rope because this is quite
an intensive product you don't use it
every single day only once or twice a
week and in one of my previous videos in
respect to the lumen exfoliating rob i
already said that i was using it less
and less because initially when you
start to use this product is amazing
because it gives you the deep clean that
you require but over time you need less
and less of it because you've already
given yourself that deep clean and it
takes a while for all of the oil build
up and all of the bacteria to build up
very deep inside of your skin and thus
if you are someone that is taking care
of your skin on a regular basis you need
less and less of this product although
if you're someone that's just starting
out this is a very very good product
because it will give you that deep clean
and would just generally make sure that
your skin is really really healthy but
the one thing i do have to mention when
it comes to the exfoliating rub is that
for some individuals it might be a bit
too intense because the exfoliating rub
goes very deep inside of your skin and
has bigger beads relative to the wound
by africa's skin and thus if you're
someone that's more than sensitive skin
this might be a bit too intense for you
and that's where the apricot exfoliating
scrub comes into play on the back of
this product it says that it's
formulated with a powerful pumice based
scrubbing beads that strip away dirt
unclog pores and sweep away dead skin
cells leaving only healthy radiant skin
behind and thus although i think that
the lumen exfoliating rope is really
good especially for beginners that want
to get that deep clean comparing that to
the apricot exfoliating scrub this is a
product that i feel you can use more
frequently and it doesn't give you that
much of a deep clean because it has more
of those pumice based speeds that will
give you a mini attack on your face
rather than having a few beats that will
go really deep inside of your skin and
comparing the exfoliating rub by lumen
and the exfoliating scrub by apricot
skin in my opinion i feel like that this
one is more suitable for a lot of
individuals because even though this
doesn't go as deeply into your skin it
will still unclog most of your pores but
when it comes to the lumen one this is
made for those individuals that have
very harsh skin and really really need
that deep clean to unclog your pores and
another thing when it comes to the
exfoliating scrub by abracast in my
opinion this is probably one of the best
ones i've tried out so far and that's
due to the pumice based speed this
really gives your skin a deep clean by
having those mini attacks while at the
same time it prevents you really
damaging your skin moving on to the next
section of the skincare comparison is
the moisturizing bomb by lumen and look
how lightweight it is and if you've
watched my previous videos before you
know that i absolutely love the lumen
moisturizing balm and the reason that
this is my all-time favorite is due to
the fact that it makes my skin brighter
it makes you shine but at the same time
the product is lightweight and
non-greasy at all and that's something
that i personally find very very
important when it comes to a
moisturizing balm i want a moisturizing
bomb to be non-greasy and very
lightweight as if it doesn't feel like
you have any product on your skin but at
the same time it will still give you
that bright and shiny look and comparing
that to the moisturizing bone by apricot
skin this is also a lightweight and
non-greasy product and it's ideal for
anyone who wants bright smooth and clear
skin without feeling sticky or oily but
the difference between the apricot skin
and the lumen moisturizing balm is that
although it is respectfully quite
lightweight and non-greasy by my opinion
the moisturizing bone by lumen is more
lightweight and more non-greasy but at
the same time i do have to give credit
to this apricot skin care product
because when it comes to this product it
has a minty texture to it so every time
i apply it to my skin i also get that
cooling effect and that's perfect for
those individuals that have irritating
skin and that's perfect for those
individuals that are acne prone because
by applying this product you really calm
down your irritating skin another thing
when it comes to the moisturizer by
africa's skin is that it feels like it
creates some sort of protective barrier
and layer on top of your skin by making
it feel a little bit tight and protect
it while this doesn't happen with the
moisturizing bomb from lumen let me give
you a quick summary and hopefully this
can help you with your purchasing
decision so comparing the face wash with
the charcoal cleanser in my opinion the
charcoal cleanser is a product for the
everyday joe that just simply wants to
get rid of all of the dirt buildup and
all of the oil buildup and it's perfect
to get rid of that but when it comes to
those individuals that more than
sensitive skin i would recommend you the
apricot skin face wash because this
product provides that cooling effect to
really ease down irritating skin and at
the same time this product is made of
aloe vera and jojoba oil leaving you
with a bright clear skin complexion
while effectively removing acne causing
bacteria and in terms of the exfoliating
rope by lumen and exfoliating scrub by
apricors in my opinion if you are
someone that has very very stubborn skin
and want to have that deep clean
definitely go with the lumen exfoliating
rope and in the case you just simply
want to have a deeper clean also go with
the lumen exfoliating rope although in
my opinion for most individuals the
apricor's exfoliating scrub might be a
better option due to the mini attacks
the pumice based bees provide the
exfoliating scrub by apricots is an
all-time favorite at the moment for me
due to the pumice based beats because
this simply gives you a mini attack on
clogging your paws while still taking
care of it because you don't want it to
penetrate too harshly or too deeply
because otherwise you can really damage
your skin and thus for those individuals
that just simply want to give yourself a
deep clean this apricot skincare product
might be the better option although if
your skin is harsh and more stubborn i
would go with the exfoliating rub by
lumen and in terms of the moisturizing
bone by lumen and the moisturizer by
africa's skin in my opinion as most of
you probably could have guessed i
definitely like the moisturizing bomb by
lumen a little bit more and that's due
to the fact that this moisturizing bomb
is more lightweight and more non-greasy
and it just really makes my skin look
brighter and healthier but khan like i
do have to give huge respect to the
apricot skin moisturizer because this
product is also quite lightweight and
non-greasy and at the same time this
product provides a cooling effect and
that's perfect for those individuals
that got quite irritating skin and want
to cool it off a little bit and calm it
down it feels like that this product
creates some sort of protective barrier
to really protect your skin throughout
the day something that the moisturizing
bone by lumen doesn't do and that's
pretty much it when it comes to this
comparison video i will have both brands
