Diamonds Do Good - Protecting the Environment

It didn't take long after we met to realize we had a lot in common. The biggest thing was probably our love of travel and adventure. It was on one of our first trips together, hiking in the northwest territories of Canada, that I knew she was the one. We learned all about the culture and traditions of the indigenous people of northern Canada, and that diamonds were mined here, and that this helped the economy and created opportunities. We learned about their safe caribou migration program, and their grizzly bear DNA monitoring program. We were blown away by all the ways diamond mining companies were helping protect and preserve this beautiful environment, and so was she. When I proposed with a diamond from the same earth we love to travel, the land where our story first began, the stone would become a constant reminder of my love for her and our adventures, all while helping keep the earth a beautiful place.
