President Trump Hosts a Bilateral Meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of India

I am a lot of money and I have had a wonderful relationship and we have been through the first period of the couple and it has been a very interesting period and I watch I got to see how we shouldn't do things and we have just started up and we have some very big things now number one is we got to be passing through a lot of money and we have not any other country in the world by far and they need and we have ended it and now trade is going to happen now many things are becoming easier to see you and you have become my friend for a long time and I am not having done a great job thank you thank you Yuri Ji it feels very good to meet you I am very happy that you have come here again today and we have been talking to you for the last four years and we are taking forward that relationship which has grown over the past four years and this is going to be a very important and interesting time for both of us You have seen that we have a lot to do for other countries. The first thing is about oil and gas. We have a lot of oil and gas and you need it in India, which we will provide. Later comes the matter of trade. Apart from this, we are very happy and it is a matter of great honour for us that one of my friends has come back here today and I am very happy to meet him. To say anything, my Excellency. First of all, I am very happy to see you here once again and to meet you here. I congratulate you very much for this grand victory. Not only from my side, but on behalf of 140 crore Indians, I congratulate you very much and wish you all the best. Your Excellency, I am delighted to see you back in the White House and to meet with you today in this room on behalf of 1.4 billion people of India. Let me convey my heartiest congratulations to you on your grand and historic victory. It is a very happy coincidence that the people of India have, after 60 years, A Prime Minister has been given the opportunity to serve the country for the third consecutive time and it is a matter of happiness for me that I have got the opportunity to work with President Trump once again in this term. I can say that the warmth, the enthusiasm, the trust that I had during the first four years of President Trump's tenure, the same enthusiasm, the same zeal, the same confidence, we will once again move ahead together. Last year the people of India gave me the opportunity to serve them for the third consecutive time and this has happened in the history of India in the last 60 years for the first time and in this term I will have an opportunity to work with you over the next four years and it will be a great pleasure to see the two sides and I can say that from my experience working with you in the first term, we will continue to advance the India-India strategic partnership with the same trust and the same excitement and it is a matter of happiness for me that as soon as I came, President Trump, like a friend, reminded me of the old Ahmedabad stadium. It is true that Howdy Modi in Houston and Namaste Trump in Ahmedabad in Gujarat were such huge events, whose echoes can be heard in every corner of India even today. I am happy that as soon as I enter this room, my friend reminded me of Ahmedabad and the cricket stadium where we held the big rally and the events where we did the mega event, we did in Ahmedabad. Namaste Trump and Howdy Modi in Houston, we had conveyed a very strong message of our friendship through those events and the resounding echo of those events can be heard even today in India and the world. President Trump's first term has played a very important role in strengthening India-US relations, in giving it a new height and breadth, and I am confident that in the second term as well we will move ahead with the same pace. Excellency, you made immense personal contribution to the strength of our relations, by making them more comprehensive and attaining unprecedented heights in our relationship and I family. I believe that in my second term, I will work with even more speed. And I have promised the citizens of India that in my third term, I will work at three times the speed. And I am confident that in the coming four years with President Trump, we will work at twice the speed in the development of India-US relations. I promise the people of India that in my third term as the Prime Minister of India, we will work at a faster pace. I fully believe that with President Trump during the next four years during his second term, we will work with even more speed. I have always appreciated and learnt one thing from President Trump that he works by keeping national interest supreme. Like President Trump, it is a matter of good fortune for me to work keeping India's interests supreme. One thing that I deeply appreciate and I have learnt from President Trump is that he keeps national interest supreme and like him, I also keep the national interest of India at the top of everything else and this has been my real fan of President Trump. Whenever the topic comes up, everyone remembers Make America Great Again and everyone gets inspired by it. Similarly, in India, the resolution of 140 crore countrymen to make India developed by 2047, when India completes its 100 years of independence, is getting new momentum, new energy today. President Donald Trump and Make America Great Again are inseparable. When ever we talk about President Trump, or one has to talk about Make America Great Again similarly, that vision inspires everybody similarly in India, we have the resolve of 1.4 billion people of India. By the time India reaches the 100th anniversary of its independence, we will make our country a developed country by 207 and this is getting new speed and new resolve. America is the oldest democracy in the world, India is a huge people's democracy, and hence the meeting of both of us does not mean no plus one two, but one and one makes 11, and this strength and power of 11 is the biggest and greatest democracy in the world. It will also be useful for welfare. US is the world's largest, world's oldest democracy and India is the world's largest democracy. So when India and the US come together, they make one plus and 11 and not two. And this is the power of 11 that is going to work for the welfare of humanity. I express my heartfelt gratitude to President Trump, a good friend of mine, that we will once again set out on the path of progress to touch new heights.
