Staying at the Best Hotel in Manila Bay!

[Music] all right guys we've just arrived at the Sofitel Hotel the Sofitel Hotel that's a tongue twister right by Manila Bay we've got our room cards all sorted we've checked in and we're gonna head up to the room now floor very high up I think we've got a baby we're right on Manila Bay that's it we haven't been down this area of manila manila for years now and since we checked out the new white sand beach yeah that was probably the last time yeah yeah and it's super excited to be in this area and exploring more of different parts of Manila again so we're gonna head upstairs and see the room and then I think they're gonna go for a swim because you guys know us we love a swim we love a swimming pool anywhere that's got a pool we're gonna have a swim that's what we do I've just had a great idea why don't we drink cup of coffee I I wish there'd be a day that goes by where it doesn't revolve around coffee just an idea welcome to our hotel room just got in our luggage has arrived just as we arrived a good timing and yeah we've actually got a nice view so we're gonna do a little room tour here I'm not used to this it's normally Lucy so here we have my shoes do you want to put them away shall I yeah yeah all right there's a little storage cupboard oh yeah there's a little cubby here for shoes cool so wardrobe area tea and coffee facilities we then have quite a big bathroom but room get it facilities nice shower Lucy can watch me Showers right one of her favorite hobbies actually great isn't it yeah yeah one of your favorite things to do in the morning my soaps massive bed looks very comfy oh that's soft that's super soft huge TV huge mirror okay so I get bored of watching TV I can watch myself desk and do some editing here oh yeah it's lovely or we can and this chair this is for when you've eaten way too much in the spiral buffet and then you just have to sit here for a few hours and then you start getting a little bit peckish again and then you reach over and order some room service yeah and then you eat your own service here nice little view out here Curtis is watching you like what what's he what's he doing oh oh nice Bay View look at that that's quite a cool view actually thank you I call up the entrance yeah so if we're lucky for memory we should get a sunset here this evening I think it might be behind this block okay but we might see like the nice sky at least wow it's quite a cool View there's a lot of work going on a lot of um like boats I want to say like industrial boats yeah a lot of work going on on the sand sound yeah they're doing a lot of stuff here oh actually I'm not up to date at all with the plans maybe some of you guys can comment below inform us oh my gosh what we had dinner down here before and the water was right up to that grass line and now it's not wow so all of that is New South yeah right right yeah I think you're right yeah because that yeah we had dinner at the sunset pool which we may get a chance to check out while we're here um but for now we're gonna settle into the room and then we are off to I'm so excited spiral Buffet probably is it our top place to eat in the Philippines I don't know it could be it's the most spectacular I would say isn't it our third time here feeling very lucky to have experienced this once in a lifetime place for three times [Music] [Music] [Music] jumping in here and actually going back in time and back into the past we're back in the UK very quickly for this section of the Vlog because in this Vlog I wanted to show you I think a lot of you will appreciate this it's pretty small can hold it in one hand can travel with this I wish I could throw this into the current time for our trip because this would be awesome around the pool as you can see it lights up in Dynamic on with the rest of the Vlog okay made it down to the pool area we actually had dinner here the last time we came here which I think was over two years ago still we ate at this which is their kind of Sunset bar which I think they call it and then I remember I'm gonna try and find the Vlog clip I remember running up here and looking into the water but now there's like a ton of sand wow this is so nice I think I'm allowed to walk on the grass here I don't know if I'm gonna get pulled off but it's gonna go a little explore around the hotel while we're waiting for the food to start and um this is right on Manila Bay so you may remember a Mike's birthday recently we did the um really cool boat trip and we took the um boat all the way along here along Manila Bay and it's just so cool seeing Manila Bay like super close up but it's really like got these dark clouds the wind's picked up but it's still bright still looks amazing I'm going to show you now how epic does this look it looks so cool so you've got the big palm trees here blowing over in the wind slightly you've got these big choppy waves of Manila Bay and this deep dark blue along there with this like you can see the rain showers sort of dusting around all the way along and then like the actual buildings just really stand out it's really high contrast it just looks awesome and then just here this is where Sunset will hopefully be or a little bit of a sunset it's a little bit cloudy but and it's going out for miles and miles a mile so it's been some huge huge changes here and then spiral Buffet is just behind us here but Lucian code have just jumped in the water are they Chance some people um so we're gonna have a little swim now okay I hope you can hear me because I was just using the phone in the pool so I hope the microphone doesn't uh go all distorted because there's water in it I've just run up here because I remember coming up here before and looking right at the water I'm just gonna try and get a little shot for you guys wow I'm just going to show you over this heads what they're doing right on the Manila Bay hope you can see that but that is totally different to what we saw here before if anyone knows like what the plans are for the area then I'd be quite interested I mean I could Google it but I know that there'll be people who will be willing to leave me a little comment that I can read and tell me exactly what's going on here be interesting to know there's been so many developments over the last few years here wow we have wow Sprite here we have swam here we have spun a lot on this trip in our own pool in the condo here at the sofa towel nice pool just met some really friendly viewers bought their whole family um for the wedding yeah oh wow we've seen loads of people in I think it was their daughter's ready oh wow okay amazing so cool and they're here they said they're looking forward to the spiral as well they've been enjoying that we've got a few hours now we're just gonna enjoy the Sun a little bit have a little swim cool off and then I I guess the the star of the show The Main Event it's this evening is going to be the spiral Buffet but this will comes to an end here hope you guys enjoyed it we will of course um pick the camera back up this evening when we're heading to the spiral um share our experience there with you see if it's changed at all it's been over two years since Lucy and I were here um I'm sure yeah it's very bright I'm sure it's up to its usual standard maybe even better after all the uh events of the last few years yeah good enjoy the
