[Music] good morning guys welcome back to a brand new video hello I have an audience today it's Koda I wonder when he's going to think it's weird that we film or if he's just going to grow up thinking that that's what everyone does we always say this hi I'll show you in a second I'll film you in a second you'll get your moment he currently shuffling his high chair towards the camera you join us today on the beautiful baraki island in the beautiful sunshine it's lunchtime here and we're going to be bringing you for the first time in a while a little bit of a food bit based video today so we're going to get a feast of we've got some Filipino food but also some like comfort food which you might think why do you want to eat like warm soups and heavy meals George I forgot something on the order we didn't order rice for the C again emergencies everyone help come here should we add what do you want you just want to get one cup because I don't think I want a whole piece a whole one myself um that would have been a disaster imagine having cang without rice I'm actually running off to order the rice make it quicker than that cuz if the Cagan gets here before the rice then it's a disaster anyway we have made an order we lunch today we've left the resort we got a shuttle here and we thought it'd be nice to sort of have a change of scor we go and check out the beach down here I mean we love where we're saying it's absolutely stunning and it's so tempting to never leave but um we thought it'd be really fun to come and check out out what's going on in like the main Town rice is ordered thank goodness crisis averted over we are at L Lord I don't know say lo you never know lud um which is part of like station X which is actually we stayed here before um in 2019 and it's really nice but we're just here for lunch today they kindly invited us over had a good look through the menu and ordered quite a few items so uh I hope you guys are ready to watch us eat if you are eating with us comment below what meal your going to be eating if you are not eating maybe go grab a snack or a drink because I don't want to make you hungry watching this because I find when I watch food videos I just get super hungry and I have to eat a snack when I'm watching them but we'll show you the food when it gets here we're on a massive table like next to the pool Cod and George are just here hello that's okay um do you have how's barai yeah do you like it how do you make the lemon ju it's also Fresh So lemon and so Koda just rode a tricycle for the first time I feel like he had a food Feast on L I just had an idea as well well that isn't no I had an idea um there's one dessert item that I've kind of been craving since since we've arrived hallo hallo nice good idea it's the perfect weather for us oh thank you so much thank you yeah I think maybe kod would you like Koda would you like to try hallo hallo later we don't give Koda too many sweet things but I feel like if he's going to be having these travel experiences and he's going to be flying halfway around the world with us then he should try some of the local food and some of the local specialty dishes and hallo hallo is the Filipino dessert it's really it's just an excuse for me to order it for myself I'm pretty sure he's going to turn into a watermelon it's all edting since we arrived watermelon he l so you've got some in your hand M you don't even have a bit finish that one guys my mango shake just arrived and look at the size of this thing M yeah how many mangoes are in this so try can't even I can't even get to it oh yeah that's delicious oh I say oh say okay to begin we have a very beautiful looking Caesar salad one of our favorites and a dish that we have found many times in the Philippines but this looks particularly good actually it's like a grilled chicken breast on top presented really nicely as well I'm not sure what the sauce is exactly I'm not sure if it is Caesar tastes a little bit more like a mayonnaise it's very [Music] nice little garlic Chen yes just sharing it everything thank you yes ah thank you oh look at that look at the crispy pork the extra oh nice nice glow garlic Cher amazing thank you okay this is the C gang look at that crispy pork that looks oh I can't get it that looks very good let me get closeup so crispy and there's radish in it which I've never actually seen I think that's radish I think it's is that radish I don't want to get it wrong or is it taro I know it looks good I can't actually get to it Geor a massive microphone inside my soup oh my bad hand and tomatoes and of course the sacred actual soup in here extra soup I might just put a straw in and drink it oh my God it's so heavy I can't even turn it to get it in there we go ready yeah the watering can of soup perfect oh nice and don't forget the rice so if you're a regular viewer you will know that Lucy's favorite I think am I right your favorite Filipino dish is cagon and it is delicious it's one of those unique flavors of the Philippines that's sour so when we explain to our family at home hey actually we've let them try some Lucy made it for some some of our family back in the UK but some haven't tried it but when we were describing it and say it's a soup but it's sour they're kind of like what do you mean sour it's hard to describe until you taste it for yourself Co that's very sour that is so good oh I've missed it it makes me go like so sour very good flavor I don't think ododa would try that no it's quite salty interesting yeah see how he reacted maybe when he's like two yeah on the next trip yeah yeah you want cang hi how crispy is that that's like Le chop let me try this again so much flavor and the um fatty heavy pork with the sour light clear broth heaven okay so personally I can't resist going in with these baby back ribs because I mean look at this this looks unbelievable I'm going to get a quick photo for Instagram make should we follow our Instagrams cuz we're uploading daily stories of everything we get up to here guys look at this for a second get a little closeup on that oh my goodness that is that is ridiculous that is massive it's heavy there's so much meat there's nothing yeah there's nothing baby about that there's nothing worse as well when you get ribs and there's no meat on them wow loc this is falling off the bone oh look at this guys look at that so soft falling off the bone m m o that is a really good barbecue sauce on there sometimes I find barbecue sauces a little bit too sticky a little bit too sweet and a bit sickly but that is more way more on the tomatoey kind of side tastes more fresh less what's the word when it's like fake and way less artificial M so so good I I know why it is that I'm eating C gang in this hot hot weather and I'm not bothered by it it's actually kind of cing me down that kind of weird I don't know oh [Music] wow okay so we are back at the resort now at crimson and Koda is tucking into his lunch eating some broccoli and we've also ordered him something that he's never tried before we're very excited to see um thank you to see what he thinks so we've ordered the H hoo yummy he likes his greenset wow you like it thank you and they actually ran out of evaporated milk we got it with like um normal milk which is probably better of him anyway if it was aaper mil we really couldn't have given him very much cuz it's too sugary for him yeah but now you can eat the whole thing um so we're going to see what he thinks in a second when it arrives I can't wait to see this hopefully he hates it and I can eat it all just saying thank you very much thank you Oda what do you [Music] think do you think it's coffee right I'll take this off of here see I never I'm going to have to take some off and then mix it back in because I need to get some more mixing room here I know it's coming baby oh you really want it it smells really good maybe just try you think we can call that a roaring success although he's saying wow again at it now oh he's gone back to the broccoli so this is the baby that likes broccoli more than ice cream correct yeah he doesn't he's never really been exposed to sweet stuff so he's not really that used to it he genuinely prefers vegetables to ice cream yeah wow and I think it was mainly the temperature that freaked him out a little bit you could see he was like putting his hand there and going like that just taking it away cuz it feels so cold which is good because that means he's like smart like if something's too hot he'll take his away if something's too cold it takes hand away so good boy I can imagine in like a few years time when we come to the Philippines and he's like five or something and I'm he'll probably be ordering it himself yeah he'll have the whole thing but for now he's a broccoli boy and we won't eat oh yeah Lucy just said we'll eat his hallo hall for him we can finish this whole thing now no problem I mean that was really the idea behind ordering it we just thought he should try it he does love UT melon though I think that is his current favorite so that is going to go and end today's
