What's Happening to the Sea Turtles Tonight?!

That was like one of the one thing. Well, good morning everyone. It is our last day here. We are gearing up to head home tomorrow morning. So we have one more day, one more full day to enjoy our time here in Ocean Isle. In this beautiful house, Old Man by the Sea by Oasis Vacations. Check it out. I promise this is probably one of our favorite homes we've stayed in. If not the favorite home we've stayed in. I love the close proximity to the beach. It's literally a three minute walk. Five if you have small children who stop to look at everything that they see along the way. And then right out here is the river view that is just so gorgeous at night time especially. I mean it's beautiful when you come out here in the morning. When the sun is setting, it kind of sets like over this way. So with that said, we're going to kick off the day. The kids are still sleeping. Once they get up, we'll just kind of go with the flow. See what happens and make the most of our last day here. Where are you going? Hey, hey. Where are you going? Hello. Where'd she go? Peek-a-boo. Where's Cohen? Peek-a-boo. Okay, so Cohen is going to try his first lemon and we're going to see how he likes it. You ready Cobra? Oh no, we don't want the sausage. We want the lemon. Hey lemon. Oh, does that not taste good? You don't like that? Oh, you want another bite? This is what Israel was always like. He was like, oh you don't like it? You just, oh sorry that's hamburger. You're just going to stick to your hamburger. Oh, and then you want it. Okay. Take one bite. Take a bite. Sit it down. Take a bite. Alright, we're heading out to go get ice cream. Hey, what are you guys doing in there? It's time to go get ice cream. We're going to get ice cream. Last evening here. Sad times when you have to say goodbye to good times. Where's your shoes? I don't know. You don't know? Oh no. Where is it? Do I wear my nice shoes or my crocs? You can wear your crocs or your nice shoes. Whatever you want to wear. My nice shoes. As long as you have shoes on your feet. Look at these two. Look at these two girls. I want to wear my nice shoes. Y'all are so cruel. I think one of us should just get. Where's Mary? I think we should all get a different flavor. Israel's down there with his mouth open. Is it good, Israel? Can I taste good, Mama? Can I have one sip? That means I get some. Last walk on the beach. Our last day. They said all the volunteers are over there. So there's baby sea turtles that are. There's a nest over there. And this one lady said she was been waiting for them to hatch. They might be hatching. There's a bunch of volunteers over there. So that'd be pretty cool. And look how beautiful it is. It's a perfect night. She goes around the beach every morning. Well, it's the tracking this afternoon. To see if sea turtles have come up and laid their eggs. And then most times they move the nest. Well, that would be a good way to end this trip, huh? Yeah. Oh, that's pretty exciting. Rainy. Hi. So you need to bring your paperwork. Okay, okay. So, how's it going? Uh, there's a crack on that side over there. That's different. That's a sea turtle. Oh, thank you so much. I'm in the back of the line. It's okay. Cohen in Israel. She said take one for the boys. Aww. Is that the one from the little... Tyler said Jude looks like this turtle. He does. Yeah, look. Don't you see it? When they get past the shadow of the sand dunes, and they turn around, they see light, they automatically turn around and go to the lights. So if that happens, we have to put them in buckets and carry them down to the edge of the water. Gotcha. But we don't help them at all. No, they have to do it on their own. They have to. That's nature. Yes, right. We're just here to see that they get out there safe. That's right. So nothing's happening yet, but it could be tonight. Tonight could be the night. So we're going to walk around, come back. We came here to take a walk, but it turned out we're going to see if there's any turtles hatching tonight. We're heading back. Didn't see any turtle babies. But maybe later.
