The Reason We Had to Return to the UK Fast

foreign guys it is another day it's a very rainy day currently but I'm running into town today is mine and Lucy's nine year anniversary of being together we've been together nine years which is crazy so I wanted to run out this morning and she thinks I'm just moving the car maybe it's around that this morning get a little bit of breakfast pick up some nice things grab a little card and pick up her favorite coffee as well but yeah super rainy day not very nice here at all just park the car running into town I'm gonna hopefully order some breakfast take out and then drive over to the coffee shop and pick up coffees but yeah oh not a very nice start I'm also then heading down to Bournemouth today with my dad and sister so I've only kind of got half the day with Lucy just wanted to make this morning really nice [Music] guys I'm absolutely soaked absolutely drenched from this rain and not only that they gave me the breakfast in a paper bag I'm gonna have to start the engine angle all the air things I'll put that heated seat on I basically got the food here but look how wet that is so I'm gonna try and dry it with the with the cars dryer on warm let's go fully warm um here we go and put that heated seat on hopefully keep the breakfast a little bit warm and dry but now oh I've just been running through town man so that's a very successful picked up some fudge which is delicious um a Dairy Milk which is Lucy's favorite chocolate which says happy anniversary on it managed to find that got a really nice card and two breakfast muffins which would be delicious from a place we tried recently it's super good um so now last bit is coffee on the way home and then we'll get home in the dry in the warm go see Lucy and coda [Music] I had to I'm gonna hold this here because I've had to take off all my clothes and put them in the tumble dryer so I'm currently in my boxes okay so let's show Lucy what we got I can't believe my legs are in this maybe for 10 years we'll make an effort and dress up and maybe go somewhere nice but for nine years you've got me sat in my underwear soaking wet brilliant oh look a card oh my God I literally thought of your name on it I literally thought that you just left it in the carrier bag and you were just gonna give me a card if no words no price on it no the price is on the receipt in the bag and also a little makeup a little something special to go with the card I don't think it's a badge oh very nice yes I told juicy like that so I've found the dairy milk limited edition happy anniversary thank you very kind oh but really underneath it's just a normal dairy milk so it's an anniversary edition so we have Love is Blind season three on the TV Lucy's favorite show you loved this before I know but like I'm out of it I feel like what you're saying breakfast fine thank you okay welcome oh guys oh no it says George on it oh don't worry it's just my order I know Jake we also got this is the most unbelievable fudge ever I don't know if you can see in there but we're also gonna enjoy a little bit of that later got a few different flavors how's the muffin looking uh be constructed but right that's because I was running around town and it was shaking everywhere thank you you're welcome someone just woke up from his nap [Music] yes a little bit cold here so we are all cozy aren't we keep him warm because the UK is freezing okay we have just had some very exciting deliveries as you can see still living amongst boxes we had an email today saying that we are very very close to be able to pick up the keys for the new house can't tell you how excited we are for this and some products just arrived that are for the new house from Govi a company we've worked with many many times working with them right now and they are sponsoring today's Vlog so I'm going to show you some of the products that have arrived in this house Lucy and I are pretty much starting fresh with ripping the whole thing out and starting again it's going to your air quality your temperature and your humidity you then have three other products that link in with that so you have a smart heater a smart humidifier and an air purifier the air purifier we don't have right now but we are going to show you the other products so the cool thing about this is that it all works automatically you can go into the Govi home app connected via Bluetooth turn these devices on and off change the settings Etc however the cooler thing is that this all works automatically but you set up your ideal air quality temperature and humidity values on the Govi app and then all these products work automatically to keep it at a set level giving you the most comfortable living experience so all these things are going to work together in harmony to create the perfect much stuff but we can't quite get going until we get the keys really feels like winter today it's so cold it's so windy and the rain is just ridiculous there's like a rain warning on the weather up this morning so um yeah literally freezing here to see here heated steering wheel both on to luxuries that we are very much enjoying in the Range Rover and this morning I've headed out for something very exciting a blood test at the doctors um and then I've got to head over to the new house after that we don't have the keys yet we're hopefully exchanging very very soon if you're not in England exchanging is basically when you exchange contracts legally means that you own that you're you've decided to purchase that house and then like a week later or something usually complete which is when you get the actual keys and that's like the moving day so hopefully it's changing very soon as soon as we've got the keys it's going to be amazing because then we can actually be in and out as a one we want to getting quotes like the renovations and stuff like that but as of now we have to ask the estate agent to meet us there every time we need to go to the house so we've got some someone coming today to quote us on some flooring they're going to get some measurements done and we're trying to get this like engineered wood it's really beautiful and for all of the downstairs that's going to be exciting so I'll head over there straight after the doctors I'm gonna head in now and hopefully it's okay I don't love blood tests but they're not too bad I don't mind them too much [Music] [Music] the state of me I'm Covered in Rain um but just quickly I've had time to quickly do a mini food shop I don't know about you guys but I can't do one food shop a week I feel like I always run out of things or I need like a few extra bits midweek so I've done a little food shop there picked up some nappies for Coda I can't even imagine how many nappies we've bought for him since he was born it's mental now when we go around shop we have to think about what he needs as well not his ass yeah gonna meet uh the guys at the house now and I was just reading some comments on the video that went online the first video back we kind of were suddenly back home in England um and obviously we didn't show you the Journey of traveling and people were like what wait wait wait why are you back in England we thought you were loads of people actually thought we were spending Christmas in Manila and which obviously we never said but we never really actually without meanings he went over to she said how long our trip was going to be I think we said it's like a shorter trip this time but we didn't say specifically how short it was so we were there for quite a few weeks and we had the rest time we had literally the best time but there were several reasons I had to come back and several reasons why the trip was a certain length so one of the other reasons we thought imagine if we get there and Coda cannot adapt to the Heat and he's really having a bad time or I don't know we just thought let's let's do a shorter trip this time for his first ever travels I mean he's a British baby and we're suddenly throwing him into age and he it's a big adjustment for him and he did so well he's literally amazing and we're so proud of him and we're proud of us for taking him there we think it's quite a big thing we did and we got through that so now that that's happened before like next time we go we can be a bit more flexible we can do a bit more um with him because we know how well he adjusted but we just wanted to do like a trial run if that makes sense another big reason was obviously Christmas is around the corner this is vlogmas day two I think second problems video and we've got loads of fun Christmassy planned and honestly I think our families would never have forgiven us if they weren't with their grandson around Christmas his first Christmas sorry if it's really noisy as well I don't know if it's gonna be like nice ASMR rain or if it's just going to be really annoying and then the more sort of serious reason is this house move so basically when we got back to England we effectively had three days I think it was to pack up our entire flat and move into this new flat I think we explained in the other video that we're like in a temporary place right now because the person that bought our flat mortgage was expiring interest rates have really spiked in England and if he had to reapply he wouldn't have been able to afford our flat meaning we'd have lost our buyer and he bought that back in March maybe like months and months ago so we thought we need to hold on to him we don't want to go through the process of selling again it just took months and months so we just thought let's move out into temporary accommodation which is where we are in this flat at the moment and then it doesn't also mean that we can renovate this new place without being around the mess so it has worked out for the best even though it's a bit more effort it's a bit more of an AG having to move twice but again I think everything for a reason and I think we'll be grateful in the long run that we're not surrounded by rubble and dust and things and paint with Coda so it's a bit safer for him and we can just go to the house ask him when to do bits so basically we had to just back up in a massive rush and it's so lucky that we had the flight books when we did we were going to do another like five days I think it was either the one we did or about five days later our choices um with the prices of flights and we were like let's just do the longer and I see the longer one and then I think last minute we said oh wait hang on what if the house that move suddenly needs to go through quickly and literally while we were in Manila they were like yeah so the buyer needs to exchange um three days after you get back and we were like oh thank goodness we managed to move out within them three days but if it was a five-day option if that makes sense would have been two days too late and we wouldn't have been able to do it so miracle happened basically I don't know how that worked out we managed to pack up that quickly and and it was all a bit of a mad rush but it's nice now that we've settled there as settled as we can be it's a bit mad but it's fine um and yeah things are moving for this house so we're super excited we've never had a house we've never had a garden and we'll do a full house tour when we get the keys and show you the renovations all that good stuff and because we've got so many ideas and don't expect much from this house it's a big old deer wrapper it's a slight Museum of a house it's a lot rather a large Relic as we call it um but it's amazing it's four bedrooms loads of space for Koda it's detached it's got a garage it's got a driveway it's got all these boxes ticked that we're super excited about so yeah very very exciting times it's just we've got to look past how it looks now and know what it's going to look like soon um I'm running a bit late so I do need to put the camera down or my phone actually I'm using my phone to record this and head over there now so I just got home and code I really wanted to show you guys his Christmas PJs [Music] say hi we've got these really cute pajamas I think they're from maybe same days yeah and they've got stockings they've got Christmas trees they've got little decorations Little Snowmen in with ear muffs and Christmas trees and you are very excited for your first Christmas aren't you not long to go not many sleeps to go I'm so excited when he's a little bit older and he understands it more but this year like he's definitely enjoying the lights and all the Christmas and stuff we're doing family and stuff which is so nice say Merry Christmas Merry Christmas there is literally nowhere to balance the phone in this car but there we go hopefully it won't fall down I've kind of like put my coffee cup on the dashboard and then balance the phone out a bit of a wonky angle so a little bit of an angle but it is the next day in this video I don't know if you guys have kind of noticed but we've been trying a little bit of a different style I guess more like a weekly Vlog picking the camera up when we're actually doing stuff when we got something to say and then putting it together something loose and I aren't really used to doing we're normally very much a start of the day to end of the day Vlog but lately especially with our living situation we literally have a bed as you guys have seen in the past few videos we have a bed and then we have boxes so we don't really feel I don't know it's hard to film in there and then our days lately have just literally been kind of editing Vlogs getting all the rest of the Philippines Vlogs scheduled thumbnailed ready to go out watched back we watched back every single Vlog that we upload just to check for any mistakes or anything so that's kind of been our days and then Coda naps twice a day for a couple of hours at a time so it's kind of like we're trying out this new stuff so let us know if day where not much is happening I hope that makes sense but I've just got back from the gym tried a morning session this morning because I realized there's a few hours in the morning that I've got kind of not spare but I was kind of getting up slowly and there was like an hour where I definitely could have been doing something more productive rather than like slowly getting up slowly walking to the kitchen making a coffee getting back into bed giving Lucy her coffee then we like sometimes watch a YouTube video or something and slowly wake up but I thought I'll just get straight out of bed get into the gym because I was finding myself missing gym sessions because I couldn't find time then later in the day to go to the gym because our days are super busy we've got so much going on so I think morning sessions could be the one let's see if I can keep it up combo also if you work out in the mornings or evenings what you prefer in the middle of the day I'm not sure what today will entail but yeah it's a Tuesday and no it's Wednesday times flying by it's nearly Christmas it's feeling very very festive we did a hello fresh order last night and all the meals coming up a festive meals so maybe we'll share some of that not sponsored we just use hellofresh especially right now super handy bianni's getting have some breakfast get shower to get ready for today check in with the boss that's Lucy and see what they will bring [Music] incredible Lucia is very kindly kept me breakfast when I get back from the gym so we got some fried eggs some toast and a piece of steak which I've recently added to my breakfast high protein there's a guy I follow on Instagram called Tim biohacker really really good account he talks about all kind of Health hacks and things and he says one of the best breakfasts you can have some eggs some grass-fed steak high protein in both of those some sourdough toast maybe and some avocado for some healthy fats okay guys going to end off this Vlog here um I know it's been a little bit all over the place and it's kind of a representation of our life right now um it's kind of always seems to be the case we kind of do this to ourselves but we're always on this like moving forward journey and yeah here we are again living in the middle of a chaos so let us know if you enjoyed this Vlog and it's been a little bit different um but we are filming
