Why Christmas Won’t Be The Same For Us This Year

can I come out now thanks Lisa and I still sometimes when code is nothing you think that would be getting on with work emails we just wrestle just play around um but we have a baby welcome back um this embarrassing watching our own Vlog on TV let me talk to you about before it goes live we're not just sat watching old Vlogs we do that as well welcome to a very special I'm really out of breath from that oh no we had a proper session though proper yeah who won I don't know well yeah okay well I did that the Jordan's like press record and I was like all right anyway welcome back to a new Vlog um we are we're here we're still here amongst boxes in fact this camera is balanced currently on a load of boxes we have not moved into our new house yet but work is starting very soon um and we're about to get fully stuck in and it's gonna be a bit of a funny Christmas this year it is but that leads us nicely on to the fact that this video is vlogmas day one Merry Christmas to Juicy vlogmas we um I know right okay we've never ever done vlogmas properly we're not doing it this year because we're moving house correct this is still not going to be a proper Vlog vlogmas traditionally was a video every day in December yeah it never used to have done vlogmas well we used to do vlogmas all year round we used to daily Vlog and I made a video every day and then December and Christmas would be a little bit of our Downer time I suppose it wouldn't sometimes no we did actually didn't we we still filmed every day I think yeah anyway this year is a bit different for us because we're currently living amongst boxes we're in the process of moving house renovating a big big durafa project renovation we've got on this house we've bought and I can't wait to show you oh I don't even think we're going to be in for Christmas right now I think we're still going to be living here while renovating which is kind of sad but next year we'll be in so make sure you come back next December for vlogmas come back in 12 months and we might start to do vlogmas every day properly next year anyway but anyway okay we've got a fun video because we're going to be going and it's going to a place called the Christmas Barn which we thought is very appropriate to start vlogmas with where are you going to get my coffee oh yeah I've had enough already yeah and we're gonna head over there in a second we're meeting our friends and it's going to be really fun Christmasy day festive Vlogs are starting guys Vlogs the sun is shining it's blue skies it's nice and chilly outside and yeah we're really excited so if you're new around here don't forget to hit the Subscribe button no no no no no no no nice to see that fuel prices have not got any better in the UK since we've been away but never mind there we go just filling up now now we're going to go and meet our friends it's a little about 40 minute drive away but this is the most festive thing we would have done so far this year whatever or potentially ever the only reason I'm going is because they said there's going to be mince pies and I have not had them into pie this year yet which is a lie because we did have mince pies wow I think before we went to the Philippines yeah we did we had we did yeah that's a funny shot isn't it this is my first festive period mince pie anyway um so that is the only reason I'm going has anyone else quite like the smell of petrol I only it's a bit too strong right now but a subtle smell of petrol lovely or a bit of paint I like the smell of wet paint bye um yeah so we're gonna head over to somewhere called the Christmas Barn which is near Lewis and our friends basically when you've got kids and there's a little activity or something going on in the area Friends With Kids message you and say do you want to do it together and I feel like that's kind of what's Happening Here to be fair this isn't really a kids thing this is more people who like Christmas and our friends love Christmas love autumn love that kind of season like we do they love the coziness I think we can all relate to that um and I think now that we've had the contrast of coming back from Manila in the heat diving straight into this cold weather it's kind of made it even better this year and also the fact that it's coda's first Christmas the excitement levels for everything I just increased because you've got someone else to experience rinse it through and we can talk about Father Christmas we can make Christmas traditions there's so many exciting things that we're going to be doing and starting this year and I'm super excited to like go on these festive days out and stuff so super nice can't wait to take you guys along with us today I think we're gonna get some food when we get there maybe get a couple of little Christmas decks I don't really know what this is actually I think I think it's loads of Christmas decorations Christmas trees I think it's like a almost like a garden center but fully dedicated to Christmas so it's kind of perfect so super excited to get there in a second it's my favorite type of weather today really cold bright blue skies and yeah so Sunny crisp weather it's actually getting dark very early now these days so we try and get out as early as we can but obviously we do have to work around naps and things and when you're meeting a friend that's also got a baby you've got to work around their naps and our baby snaps and food and schedules um so you just have to kind of make it work but yeah we're gonna head there now enjoy the drive over we've taken the Range Rover today I'm still sitting in the back with Coda some of you may be wondering why and I have had some questions honestly I could sit in the front and I feel like I was in the back when he was a little newborn baby just to keep an eye on him now obviously he's he's cool he's chill he can be on his own but if he's hungry or if he's bored or crying or he needs me in some way if I'm sat in the back it means we don't have to like pull over I get out the car and sit in the back it just means I'm here and if I need to play his hit oh he needs me one sec [Music] jingle bells ringing in my ear Jingle Bell a sound that's all so dear Frosty the Snowman is All Around Town watch out for reindeers are falling down we stay up waiting for Saturday he climbed down the chimney at the speed of light while we're dancing around the Christmas tree hugging and kissing just you and me okay we made it to the farm so glad we brought the Range Rover on this drive not the BMW because that was like driving through muddy Fields coming up here but that was a lot of fun wasn't it he's got a few good shots of the puddles and now I'm glad we spent 70 quid the other day on getting this car cleaned because it's filthy again our friends are here let me get Cody's Buggy Out quick weather check today beautiful blue skies yeah this how nice is this place literally on a farm oh yeah hello guys hello hello we're gonna go find CoDA yeah look at him there he is is that big smile for sebi yeah it's cool around here so nice that drive was awesome ready ready to go surprise oh man he already has like fingerprints on the land yeah okay so don't we know what to expect here I think Alex did you fight you found this one right yeah okay for each other to do yeah Alex messaged us yesterday oh nice where Alex message yesterday and said are you guys free tomorrow I found a Christmas barn and there's mince pies we were like we're kind of like super busy we've got all this editing and stuff how smooth Etc blue life yes we're gonna of course we're gonna be here we're gonna make time wow this is nice super nice very very festive the only sad thing about this year for us I don't know if we can have our Christmas tree up we're not gonna have a tree because there's no space and we're our place is just full of boxes yeah that's why we want to do things like this yeah on these vlogmasy days so I think we're gonna get some coffee and some food oh is that like cheese [Music] vegetable quiche very nice bacon and mushroom quiche two coffees a mince pie which looks homemade that looks very very nice and the Scotch egg yum what did you guys get um I got cheese and pickle cheese and Chutney so it's really quite jealous of that actually it's really cool veggie sausage roll and a mince pie a couple of coffees as well yeah white chocolate I want hot chocolate oh yeah we've got ice nice cheers yeah American Merry Christmas Merry Christmas everyone this is our first vlogmas video mince pie taste test I was saying how deep it is it's a very filled mince pie should we say ready [Music] it's really messy [Laughter] very nice pastry really what happened oh wow in the filling okay we've had our food we're gonna head into the Christmas Barn this is up in a place called is it bankem is that it's the town we'll put it on the screen exactly where this place is if you are watching and you're local which I know some of you are then you may want to check it out they're open all of November all of December food is from ifield Farm shop and as you can see we demolished it it's pretty good should we head in can't believe how well sebi's walking now this is going to be Cody doing a few it could be weeks I don't know two weeks yeah we bought him one of those Walker things hold on he's just starting to do a little few steps so yes I think it could be a few weeks yeah it won't take long as soon as Sebastian started taking his first steps on his walk yeah he was away yeah it was like yeah yeah oh that was it cute he's off now he's running he's got his little shoes yeah oh yeah these are nice like these we need to get oh those we need to get coat of some yeah that'd be the next maybe Christmas present potatoes fast shoes [Music] okay this is perfect for the first vlogmas video this is I don't think you get more festive than this to be honest it's an absolute okay really nice so Christmassy it's almost a bit of a tease are you guys going to buy some stuff yeah I don't know I often can't help with myself when it comes to uh Christmas stuff yeah I'm sure some people would choose some decorations oh yeah 100 I think he already has I think yeah thank you and you want the Nutcracker need a basket if he keeps using oh yeah good taste they've got a real fire here that is that is putting out a lot of heat goes all the way up for the barn yeah if you come and feel that from those proper Christmasy wintry how nice that is awesome I'd love that I know I was going to say yeah imagine having that in a country home one day that's gonna be the dream be amazing Christmas decorations picked up acquired for but probably next year we could just put them like on top of a cardboard box let's say we should make a box and say Christmas and like that is our little Christmas because we're gonna lose the other one area yeah nice to see you guys again yeah really good to see you see you very soon excellent hopefully you'll be doing some Christmasy things with these guys also just discussing going on a little double date night without the kids that would be fun I'm probably talking about yeah we'll just be talking about the whole time and calling our parents like how they do it but that could be fun so you hopefully see a lot more of these guys on the channel
