Back in the body shop where the magic happens and the mess is real. Mike's deep in the mud on our '66 Revival build, pushing hard to get this thing ready for primer in the next couple weeks. Dark green is the plan for this one, almost black shade that's gonna look sick.
Got our '67 to '72 bumpside cruising along too, with the bed and hood basically ready for paint while we catch the cab up. Had some extra fab work on this Level 2 chassis since we hadn't designed the hood hinges and inner fenders yet, but we muscled through it and got it dialed in.
The 1973 square body's looking clean and should hit primer this week, plus we've got that custom air ride build working through our one off designer line. Three different trucks, three different paths.
Body shop's been killing it lately after a little lull. Nothing beats seeing multiple projects pushing through at the same time. The guys clean up every single day because, well, body shops are messy by nature.
Stay tuned, lot of builds about to get real interesting as they move toward paint.

We're back in the body shop and we're having a good time playing in the mud.
Right Mike? So he's standing over here. He's making a gigantic mess. He's trying to get a
bunch of body work done quickly. We just started body work on this a few days ago. He's trying to
get the rough pass done on it. I know he's got a lot of the doors and everything kind of already
wrapped up and ready to go. He's trying to get this in primer. He'll probably mock up one time,
make sure everything looks good. We'll be looking pretty close in a couple weeks,
ready to start doing some painting on this truck. Would you, does that sound about right?
Two, two and a half weeks? Yeah. Roughly? Okay. They're cruising along pretty good.
1966. This is going to be just a dark green color. Solid color, no two-tone. Oh,
did I tell you that dark, dark green, almost black? I had heard it.
So, you know, do a good job, but you know, all right. Anytime you got dark colors,
it makes it a little harder. This is a truck here. Pretty cool. We're doing for a guy.
He's got a 67, 72 bump side, really close for paint. They just actually started body work on
this truck about three, four weeks ago. We're almost ready for paint. So this is the bed on
that truck. This was the hood on that truck. These are essentially ready to be sanded down
and ready for paint, but he wants to get the cab caught up. We had a little extra fab on the cab.
Took a little longer, but we finally got it all done because it's a level two chassis.
And we hadn't designed hood hinges. We hadn't designed front inner fenders,
but we were muscling through that and got it all done. And so he's trying to get the cab caught up,
but he's got doors and a lot of other stuff prepped and ready to go. You can see the grill
and some of the parts here. So guys are moving along pretty quickly. The body shop's kind of
killing it. You can see a nice square body that I imagine we'll start to see in primer here into
this week, first and next, and then we'll be getting closer to the paint side of things.
So we've got a lot of paint starting to come through, which we had a little bit of a lull.
We had a couple of jobs kind of deviate and do some different things, take a little longer. And
so we're finally happy to start pushing projects back here. So stay tuned. We got a 1967-72 bump
side that's about ready to go through our revival line. We've got this 1966 that's going through the
revival line. And then of course we've got this here that's going through our designer line,
a little bit different project, but pretty sweet air ride. If you're doing air ride,
it's going to go through, you know, our kind of one-off line because it's just a lot more work.
But guys are cleaning up at the end of the day. They've been here early getting it done. As you
can see, they clean up every day. So it takes a little bit for them to clean up, but that's
the nature of a body shop. It's always messy. We'll see you next time.
