Don't GT500 Swap Your Truck Until You Watch This

A GT500 engine doesn't fit in an old Ford truck. Not the way it comes.

The 5.2 Predator is 760 horsepower and it was built for a Mustang with electric power steering. Put it in a 1967-72 Ford and your AC, your hydraulic steering, and your alternator all end up in the wrong place. Nobody makes an accessory drive for this swap, so we made one.

Then we didn't sell it for 10 months. We put it on Charlie Morris's bumpside and let him beat on it. Burnouts, rev limiter, dyno pulls, several thousand miles. One thing went wrong: the belt started slipping around 6,500 RPM. We downsized it.

One thing to know before you buy: this swap is manual transmission only. The GT500 never came with an automatic, so the control pack doesn't support one.

Everything's in the box. Power steering pump and pulley, AC compressor, Powermaster alternator, every bracket, spacer, and belt, hardware, and instructions. Black Cerakote or machined.
