Hey guys, and welcome or welcome back to my channel.
Okay, so for today's video, I have my summer makeup routine.
You guys have been requesting this one for a bit now.
I love doing makeup videos.
I feel like my routine every summer kind of like alternates and like I definitely find
new products.
Honestly, I feel like the goal every summer is always kind of like along the same lines.
We want to look glowy.
We want to look sun-kissed.
So here's my guide for you guys.
I'm gonna go step by step for everything and also go like just super in-depth.
This camera's like right where my mirror is so it might be kind of hard for me to see
but if you get weird angles just it's okay.
So obviously the first thing you have to start off with is your skincare.
So you guys know me, I change my skincare routine pretty frequently just because like
I like to try new products.
So let's start.
I already did my toner and serum and then I went to go eat but I'm gonna finish the
rest of the routine right now.
This is the Anua 77% Heartleaf Toner.
I just feel like this one works really well for skin prepping.
Then next, this is like a recent find.
This is the Echoberry Bakuchu.
I definitely butchered that but it's this plumping serum.
So next, I'm gonna take this Purito Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream.
I'm kind of trying to experiment with moisturizers right now just because like I'm gonna need
something super light with it being summer time and being super hot.
If anyone has any suggestions on how to get rid, I cannot talk today.
How to get rid of this like the, I think it's called a widow's peak.
Please like let me know, comment it because I need help.
Then next, this is very very important.
This is my favorite one by the way.
This is from Roundlab.
I always repurchase this one.
So our sunscreen's on and now we're gonna go in with the next step.
So I'm actually gonna start with my brows right now.
This part I feel like is kind of important because like I feel like the timing of how
I order my products like it will, it's like, I don't know how to explain it.
Like with the primer and stuff and like letting the primer sit like it just makes sense.
So let's start.
I think I used this in my last summer makeup routine but this is the Anastasia Brow Pomade.
Okay so here is how the brows are looking.
I don't know why I've been congested for like weeks.
Someone like send help.
I like to carve out my brows but I like to kind of do it in a different order just to
save time.
Next we're gonna do primer.
I either use this Refine one or this Power Grip one.
For today, I'm going to two parties so I think I might use this one just cause it stays like
super well.
This one's more light on my face and this one just like sticks.
If you want more of like a full coverage, I would say definitely primer is a necessary.
Now while we let the primer stick, we're gonna carve out the brows.
So for my brows, I'm gonna take this Hourglass Concealer.
This is in the shade Silk.
I honestly have had this forever and I don't really know how I haven't ran out yet.
So I'm just going to follow my natural like obvious shape that it's going in.
And then this is the kind of brush that I'm using for it.
So I basically start from the bottom and then I do the same thing on the other side so that
I can see if they're even or not.
Most of the time, my brows are pretty clean just because like I could draw them on but
this part just makes it like extra crisp.
Here's how they're looking.
And then we're just gonna blend it going like the same way as the brow is going.
Okay, so now our primer has basically set and we're going to start the base next.
This is a new discovery and I love it.
So this is the Lumi Glow-tion.
You guys probably have seen it but if you haven't tried it, I think you definitely should.
Especially for summer.
Like it just gives the most natural and pretty glow.
This is in the shade 903 Medium Glow.
So with this, I like to blend it out with my hands just because I feel like I get the
most natural like finish with it.
Look at that difference like from my forehead down.
But like again, like I just like how it's really natural.
Another step that's really important is to always have a beauty blender by you.
This just gives you like a smooth finish to everything.
Okay, so next is coverage portion.
So I use two things and if you guys have watched my videos, you know that this is my combo.
I haven't found a new combo but I don't plan on it just because this one is really good.
So we're going to start with the Charlotte Tilbury Artless Glow.
The Elf Halo Glow is also really, really good.
So this is in the shade Fair.
I'm just going to put this on my cheeks and on my nose.
And then we're going to take this.
This one, I kind of want to try to find a new skin tint just because I've had this for
a long time and it kind of like oxidizing.
And I heard the Kylie Skin Tint is like really good.
So maybe that'll be my next skin tint purchase.
But for now, I use this.
I'm going to take this brush.
I got this from YesStyle and we're just going to blend it all together.
I try to keep like the first part of my blending like right here so that the glow still stays
right there and then I move it to the rest of my face.
So there is our coverage.
As you can see like it already looks like so much more smooth.
Like I feel like my skin just looks like skin still but it's just like a lot smoother which
is the goal.
You don't really like see that I have like a lot of coverage on.
Okay, so next we're going to do concealer.
I'm taking this same one and then I forgot to mention but this is in the shade 7.
So yeah, I start with the full coverage on the insides right here and then I take this
Tower 28 concealer.
This one does not have the shade on it but I'm just going to put this right here and
then also on my pimple.
Now that that's cooking up, we're going to do my contour.
Contour is definitely like a big thing for me recently.
I feel like I've been like a contour queen.
So I'm going to start with the Rare Beauty one.
Again, I've had this forever but this is in the shade Happy Soul and we're just going
to drag it upwards.
This first one is kind of light and then we're going to do my nose which you can kind of
see right now but it's not anything special.
I just kind of like do that.
Next, I'm going to take my ELF Ultimate Blending Brush and we're just going to blend away.
As you can see, it's still looking pretty skin-like.
This is again kind of a newer purchase for me but this is the ELF Cream Contour Palette.
So I highly recommend this.
I feel like this is a really great palette for beginners who want to do contouring.
Just because there's different shades you can pick from and then you can just kind of
experiment.
Then I'm going to blend out this little thing where my pimple was at.
Okay, so next step is blending this out.
I'm just going to take my Beauty Blender for it.
So we're going to keep it all super concentrated where my eye is at and where I placed my concealer.
I do like to go down a little bit more just because it gives me more of like a contoured
nose.
I also have really bad under eye bags so it's kind of hard to cover them.
Now we're just going to blend this out.
My goal with the nose contour is trying to keep this middle part as shiny and clean as
possible.
Okay, so now those two steps are done.
We're going to go into my blush and this is the part of my routine that I feel like I
get the most compliments on.
Which is like with the glowiness of my blush and stuff.
Fear no more, I'm going to tell you my secrets.
So I'm taking the E.L.F. Camo Liquid Blush.
This one is in the shade Suave Mauve.
Suave Mauve.
I'm going to take two dots.
I'm going to take this brush and we're basically just going to mix it in a way like you see
the circular motions just to try to get it to blend together.
And I completely forgot to say this just right now but I mix it in with the Charlotte Tilbury
Beauty Light Wand.
This one is in the shade Spotlight.
Insane.
That is how the base is looking like.
So next we're going to go into powder and this is the part where I feel like you may
kind of lose like the glowy aspect of it.
I don't know why like I don't even put powder where my glowy spots are but it's still just
finds a way to die it down.
For my powder I take this Huda Beauty one.
This one is in the shade like Cherry Blossom.
I'm going to take some like this and we're going to dab some on this right here just
to get it kind of smoother.
Okay now this is the part you got to be careful.
You don't want to blend in your creases so make sure you have your beauty blender by
you and like you can already kind of see it but like I'm creasing right here.
So I'm going to blend that and then immediately powder right after just so we're not powdering
in and setting that crease.
And then if you want you could put a little bit more and just let it sit for a bit but
we're going to do the other side.
I'm going to blend out my forehead one more time and then also set my t-zone.
Then we're going to do the sides right here and I keep it very focused as you can see
like there's pretty much like a cut not a cut crease.
Is that the word?
Okay we're kind of almost done.
We're going to do lashes.
Okay I feel like this brings the makeup look together but I'm taking this.
This is the Shu Uemura eyelash curler.
I feel like this one fits my eyes super super well.
I have two options for you guys for mascara.
Number one if you want waterproof the telescopic waterproof one like duh this one's so good.
For not waterproof if you want to protect your eyes a little bit more I have this mini
one this is from Sephora and it's the size up.
Mascara you guys this one's really really good.
I'm pretty sure it's new and if it's not then I apologize for not being as educated.
Pop this on.
The only thing I don't like about it is the wand.
I don't like thick wands.
This one makes an exception.
Did this eat?
And for the mini one I think it's like 12 or like 14 bucks so it's not super bad.
Here are the lashes I used.
Don't have much of them left.
I need to get more of these ones.
I don't know the name of them but I got them on yesstyle so if you kind of see like what
they look like this is just a kiss lash glue like this and then I'm just going to place
it right under my lash.
So like you can already kind of see the difference so I'm going to do the other eye right now
and then I'll come back because I got to charge the camera.
Hey everybody welcome back.
So I just did both my lashes and I also wiped off my powder with a brush just this brush.
Okay so now we're going to move on to our last few steps.
So starting off with contour and I'm going to take this one.
This is from Charlotte Tilbury again.
It's supposed to be a body bronzer as well so it's huge.
I'm going to just take a big brush and this one's in the shade medium 2.
I'm just going to place this along the same areas that I had my contour before.
Okay so the next part of powder is going to be my blush.
Okay so I have three options for blush.
Two like main pigment blushes.
So I have this Patrick Tall one.
I like this color just because it's like super vibrant and this is in the shade she's a doll
but I also really like this one.
This is from Kiko.
This one is in the shade unlimited.
It kind of has like some sparkly in it too so I feel like you still get that shine.
For me and I feel like for this look I'm gonna go with this one just because I'm feeling more
cooler toned I guess today and this is like just a big round brush again.
I'm just gonna lightly like just pat all around.
Next this is like my topper for it all and I feel like this one I actually highly recommend.
This is the Clio prism highlighter and this one's in the shade 02 fairy pink
and it just gives like this beautiful glow to it just to like make sure I'm not losing
any glow from my cream product.
I normally like to do like an eyeshadow liner but for today I think because this is more
summery and I feel like liner doesn't give as much summer we're just going to use this
and for my bottom lashes I like to use a waterproof mascara.
So here is my lip combo.
Obviously it alternates.
I don't even know how much anymore but I came up with a new one.
So this is the Revlon long wear lip liner.
This one lasts so long.
This one's in the shade nude.
Oh my god I'm out of it.
I ran out.
I'm actually so sad about that.
The most that I can with it.
So I normally put on a lip mask as you saw as I do my makeup and it's this one if you're
wondering and I'm just gonna go over like my natural lips.
Then to make it a little bit darker because I like my lips just a little bit darker I'm
gonna take this makeup forever lip pencil top of my lip and then a little bit and then
a little bit at the bottom.
Then to top it off I really like this Laneige lip glowy balm.
I just love that color like that color is so pretty.
I'm gonna do my brows.
I forgot to do this but normally I do this at like a random point in my routine but we're
gonna take this Patrick Tau brow like lamination gel and just stick it all down.
Next it's time for something a little bit more fun that I feel like gives summer if
you want to do it.
This is optional but I'm gonna do some freckles.
This is the HandyAnne freckle pen.
I got this on YesStyle again.
Basically how I do this I just like dot like rapidly just everywhere right away blending
everything out.
I don't know if they look good or not.
But you know that sunshine don't feel right lay inside all day.
I wish it was nice out but it look like rain.
So I think that's the best that we can get with it.
So my very last thing is to do some setting spray.
This is the one size setting spray.
Smells like hairspray.
So that is my makeup routine.
So that is okay.
So that is everything start to finish.
So I'm gonna turn the lights off and then show you guys with like flash what it looks
like just so you can see a bit better.
Like oh my god.
So yeah that's what it looks like.
So that is all I have for today's video.
I really hope you guys like this makeup routine.
If you do try it please like tag me in it or like let me know how it works for you because
I'm really curious to see like if people try my makeup routines and then like I want to
know how they turn out for them.
So if you do try it just tag me.
I always look at your guys' tags and stuff like that.
Thank you guys again for watching and I'll see you in my next video.
Bye!
