Bestie, have you, no seriously, have you ever had to take a break from an intense
mental breakdown session to take a look at yourself in the mirror? Your face after crying
is honestly such a slay. It's a look, it's a vibe and as usual, Doe and Girlies hopped onto the
trend of freshly cried makeup and it's so freaking cute. The concept for today is makeup that looks
like freshly cried face. I will use colors like deep purple, mauve-y pink, baby pink and glossy
shimmers to recreate the natural flush of color, teary and swollen eyes and plumped lips. My skin
gets extra bright and flawless and glowy after crying so to mimic the finish of skin but better,
I used a tinted foundation and a high coverage concealer to spot correct. I want you to
completely get rid of contour and bronzer because your face gets puffy after crying and no matter
what face shape you have, the face sort of swells up after shedding those tears so say no to anything
that brings shadows or depth to your features. I'm taking a deep purple-pink blush from Maybelline.
This is the Sunkisser Hazy Matte Blush in Berry Brunch. With the Cuffs and Lashes dual-ended
brush, I'm packing the color on the apples of the cheeks and dispersing it horizontally towards the
outer end of the cheeks. What is this blush placement? It is the same as the sun-burnt
slash sun-kissed blush placement but instead of an orange blush, I'm keeping the color pink.
Red colored blush is an alternative for people who tend to go for warmer shades. Placing the
blush on the nose and the chin area will really tie the look together because nothing says you
have cried like redness around the nose and the chin area. Does it have to be this dramatic? Yes,
absolutely it has to be this dramatic. Bestie, this is not a sad scenario. It's dramatic but
not melodramatic. The crying girl is an archetype and she is an icon in my opinion. So I want you
to romanticize the feminine beauty of post-cry face and not the crying itself. Taking the K-Beauty
multi-textured eyeshadow palette in Twilight and picking a baby pink shadow and applying that on
the outer corner of the eyes and the outer end of the aegyosal. The idea here is that your eyes
need to look swollen and puffy. Taking a light beige and applying that on the inner corners,
very very lightly defining the lash line with a mocha brown eyeliner. This is the perfect time to
use a lightweight lashed separating mascara. You can skip mascara as a whole but I want glamour
and realism in one frame so I took out my favorite fanning mascara from Maybelline.
This is Lashed Sensational. Colourpop super shock eyeshadow in the shade Ritz is the most universally
loved wet shadow. It has this champagne base on the skin. The champagne base makes the shadow
look translucent with just shimmers floating on the top. The shimmers glisten like water,
hence the term wet eyeshadow. It's like water reflecting and sparkling on the skin. I don't
wear highlighters often but when I do I reach out to the inside cream highlighter which literally
performs like liquid gold on brown skin. You can get this for like 120 rupees or something like
that. Applying the highlighter on the tip of the nose and the nose bridge area. I felt like the
blush could have been intensified a bit. I want the color to look a tad patchy and solid. Once
again dispersing the blush over the apples of the cheeks, nose and chin. After crying your lips also
get swollen and rosy. M.A.S.S. Cosmetics matte mousse in superstar which is a mauve pink lipstick.
Apply the lipstick like you're applying paint, watercolor on the lips. What do I mean by that?
A lot of blending, a lot of dabbing. I'm also over lining with the lipstick and blurring the
color will also make the lips look elongated. My favorite hairstyle these days is a half updo pony.
You know how bangs can take up a lot of volume on the face? I was thinking how about I take the
concept of bangs, baby hair, wet hair look, fuse it to a hairstyle that looks cohesive to my visual
weight like it should not interfere with the makeup look. That is the whole point. I would take around
four to five baby hair. Apply gel to the hair strands and place that on my forehead like basically
like bangs. A big struggle in this is the placement of the strands. It needs to look like a medieval
painting or something like that. Kind of ethereal doll like but also practical. So I look for symmetry
and visual balance and when the placement hits the right spot, I lock it. I use the gel on the hair
itself to stick it on my skin but you can also use a lash glue to stick the hair strands firmly on
the forehead and it will not come off the entire day. This is the finished look. I bet you have
never seen a makeup look or a tutorial like this. What do you think about it? Tell me in the comments
down below. Bye!
