Lucy was NOT Ready For THIS! Emotional Surprise on first Mothers Day

[Music] what do i believe what makes me feel it good morning today is lucy's first mother's day it is happy mother's day has he he's just over excited for mother's day throwing his head around hello are you happy he was so smiley a minute ago that of course we put the camera up and he goes back to normal i know bless him so this morning has started off very very well um i have given lucy no you haven't no not me it wasn't for me you said it was from coda it's from coda this is a gift from coda he chose it himself i thought he arranged all himself he chose it himself and we've just surprised mummy with this gift haven't we mate we stopped taking credit for coder's hard work you did it all dude we did a good surprise didn't we all you well done oh he's already grabbing it oh no this is uh the necklace that coda got lucy it's gold and i think you can go see on the camera here it is engraved with his name coder there so really nice yeah it's so nice thank you george for arranging that and it was a come from a company called mercy my man is that right so really beautiful it's um a company george is working with on instagram we really kind of sent it and arranged it for us so it's lovely uh and it's really special and it's got room for more children on there one day so it's really really nice um yeah it's crazy yeah it's mad today hello here's a nice smile it's mad today like when i think of mother's day in my head i'm just thinking of my mum like that age i don't think about me being my age because i still feel like a kid even though i am now a mum so it's like it's weird today people being like oh it's your first mother's day happy mother's day i'm like what me i don't know it's crazy so it's very nice very special and for any of you watching in america or the philippines or somewhere where they celebrate mother's day in may don't worry you haven't forgotten mother's day is just different in england i remember i said in a vlog the other day when we were out in the philippines and people started saying happy mother's day to everyone i thought oh no we forgot a mother's day but it's just a different date for some reason if anyone knows the reason why it's a different date in england or comment below when your mother's day is because i know that then two countries celebrate it in may but i don't know about any other countries if anyone else is the same as england or if it is just us being unusual i don't know and of course thinking about anyone who can't be with their mums today for whatever reason for those wanting to be mums for those with difficult relationships with their mums for those who have lost their mums i'm just um i saw a thing on instagram this morning that kind of said this really nicely but obviously it's a hard day for a lot of people as well but we today are gonna see my mum uh we were meant to be seeing george's mum today but unfortunately they're a little bit poorly nothing no no covered don't worry i know you have to say that these days nothing crazy but and we've decided to reschedule for the following weekend but we are going to be seeing my mum going for breakfast with her today and my sister who's also a mum um so we'll be seeing thea but we are probably going to be late as we are with everything these days thank you she says about to drink a new cup of coffee yeah mother's day coffee tastes different to normal so we just popped in the car now and we're headed to blue bird cafe which is one of our favorite breakfast spots right on the beach here and we were going to go for a little walk before but we're running a bit late so we just said we'd meet them there we could do the walk afterwards i know always late i saw a comment the other day someone said um you guys have picked up the worst um one of one of the worst habits from the philippines which is filipino time um i think we had it before yeah we can say it was that but i'm pretty sure we've always been late people and i think our excuse now is the baby yeah and now people can't like argue with it i mean i think someone also said the other day that it's really rude to be late and yes it is however we don't mean it in a rude way we just like i don't know we'd really try it's just i feel like things take longer than you expect and then it's always just a mad rush but we should work harder on it because we respect other people's time we do respect other people's time but sometimes you can't change your personality traits so you have to change coda three times in ten minutes yeah exactly exactly sometimes things can't be held but we can probably work a bit harder to help it as well anyway so we're 10 minutes away and we'll show you guys when we get there we've got some gifts for my mum oh it's such a nice day isn't it it's nice sunny weather and what what's the temperature today please 12.5 12.5 not bad warm i'll take it warm for england [Music] beautiful day this is a 9.3 out of 10 which i don't often give as you know if you're a regular viewer but we have just met lucy's mom and we are now walking into the breakfast spot the car park is super busy absolutely packed but we have booked a table lucy thought it would be a good idea to book a table and it definitely was and we're also meeting lucy's gone loose this is why we got the um all weather no or was it all terrain buggy all-purpose terrain buggy we're also and that kind of thing what are you doing over there you're hiding [Music] [Applause] so [Music] a little bit of car spotting as we go porsche thai can turbo s that is stunning beautiful really nice morning with the family and now we're walking through a kind of tiny mini town which has some really like here are quite it is nothing is it is it a village it's not a town oh yeah not a town isn't it even a village than it's smaller than a village it has all these nice little houses i won't film too much because obviously it's people's private homes and stuff but really nice we thought we'd walk this way back to the car taking some of the sun some of the weather there's no pavement so it's like there's it's so quiet that they literally don't need pavements you just walk on the road and if a car comes they just wait for you you rarely get a car coming through here so um we're just making the most of this sun look at the blue sky just look at that color absolutely gorgeous and stunning but that was so nice wasn't it really really nice yeah such a nice little neighborhood here so quiet and peaceful there's a little honesty store here outside someone's house just like in botanist yeah that was fun you just leave some money in there if you want anything okay we are home now and we just stopped off at the coffee shop to get a little coffee and also to pick up some new beans because i've run out trying these these are coffee beans from pharmacy roasters which i've had their beans before and they're really good these are from rwanda they are green gage and elderberry top notes with a rich caramel body and sugary finish so we get some nice rich caramel sweet espresso out of these hopefully nice that's good lucy has just made up these which are you described as like a summery drink like a grapefruit kind of drink a little break from my sunday chores i just put the hoove around and we just put on some music did a little bit of cleaning and tidying up put some candles on got a little wax melt going here oil oil oil melt just oil wax oil oil doesn't melt oil doesn't melt tell that to a scientist oh it's lovely oh lovely and fresh apparently this is one of the last days of sunshine that we're getting so i'm thinking do we go out again i'm so full from that breakfast to lucy you're talking about a roast dinner yeah i don't know how you're thinking about that or how you've got room for that this is what sunday afternoons look like now i could do this all day couldn't we didn't we are we giving mummy a good mother's day yeah oh yeah gonna say hello you're gonna [Music] okay we have decided to come out again because it is so nice and apparently the sun is not going to be here next week so we have to keep saying as i keep saying so you have to make look that's how nice it is i can't even see in front of me i know it's a bit annoying isn't it i look forward to it going away you can actually see it that's what people in england tend to do complain when it's too cold complain when it's too hot complain when it's too bright yeah we're coming out to get some food now there's like a noodle bar that we've been to so many times could be the hay fever i do sound a bit weird don't i um and it's literally just down here and i'm thinking of getting the singapore rice like chicken and rice fried rice and i think you're gonna get let me guess pad thai yeah i've sort of varied i've changed my order a few times recently and nothing like hits a spot like the pad thai does and i know i like it flat rice noodles bit of chicken peanuts oh nice yeah we might we might i'm getting hungry after that breakfast filled us up so much we skipped lunch and it's now 6 p.m and we're gonna come and get some dinner uh we might eat on the beach because the wind there's no wind oh but it depends on this guy at the moment he is asleep but as soon as we stop soon as he loses that movement you never know okay bad news the noodle bar is closed we don't have a plan b hmm we literally don't have a plan b that was our that was our one and only plan yeah we can't really sit in anywhere so he's in the carrier we were going to get it and having to take away okay we'll have to come up with plan b it needs to be takeaway i do know of another noodle bubble i've never tried it yeah bad reviews oh we had this conversation a few months ago all right guys plan b was to order indian food from one of our favorite restaurants that we order from ignore the sunday the sunday hair there um haircut next week i'm going to try my best to get it done koda is also enjoying sunday evening so we got a full plate here this is like a uk version of indian food curry rice bread chips onion bhaji some leftovers here plenty of food so we are going to eat our dinner and then we're
