CLEARING OUR CREEK - IT'S A MESS!

Oh my gosh Will we have poison ivy tomorrow who knows but we'll find out and we'll let you know So we decided to take the rest of the day After the little kill trip, okay That's the rest of the day We didn't really decide to I grabbed my weed eater and I was just feeling like I gotta do something. I need to do Something down by the creek. I'm gonna cut. Yeah, I need to be productive. So I started just cutting out So I saw out the window him carrying his weed eater and I said, oh not today. Not without me and I grabbed my new Show how powerful this is thing. This thing is mommy. Yeah, I got him from Costco They can kind of an unripened black walnut right in half. Yeah, the kids are not allowed to touch these and I came down and we have been We want to clear up some of the brush all around the creek so you have more access to it you can see it We want a view of it The creek is back there whether you believe it or not that is the before This is the after just this little section that we did So you can actually see the kids now. We're gonna clear a little bit more of those branches All of this looks just like that other stuff. Well, that felt nice I'll tell you that that felt real good to get out there and do some work on our property. Will we have poison ivy? tomorrow Who knows but we will find out and we'll let you know Okay, I actually really like this cuz it like it's just you don't have to run you just push and push Anyway, let's get a good before and show you guys today. We are gonna clear up this Creek We got a kid that is less than happy back there, but it's fine. That's life. Welcome to it We did down there, which is funny because it's great You can see the waterfall, but you can't even see it from our house So the goal this morning is to clean up is to clean up this area So we can see the creek from the house a little bit more Roll before and then we'll show them after Oh man, this is a big jump. We did that with our weed eater, which is kicking butt It's not typically would come with some kind of bush hog or something just to level all this out. We don't have one right now I think it's more fun this way more team-building right team-building activity My dad said well you guys don't need a tractor It seems like the two of you are enough or something like because we just go at it. We go we go ham, don't we? Just bring the kids along and go at it because they're having fun down here we did that yesterday and they were It teaches them the meaning of hard work and we're all together and they're more likely to play down here Crazy You do it you are granted leaving them alone. Yeah. Oh, we got a sleepy boy on our hands Look how much nicer that looks already just Having that cleared. Oh, I'm coming It just looks so much nicer. Yeah, just because I think pieces could fall off the kids We're gonna keep working for a little bit, but then we're gonna head up for lunch and then get some stuff done Inside the house. I saw that you got that. That's rude. It looks delicious Good evening guys. We got the creek area really well cleared out. It looks so good I didn't even show the rest of it We kind of walked up to the waterfall area and on the way Daniel was like clipping stuff here and there So now there's literally just this clear full path all the way to the little waterfall, which is amazing We have some friends coming to stay with us. They have little boys They're gonna have a blast down there And so we really wanted to get that ready for when they come next week with that said I want to show you this This is what? Has taken place during our move It's not anything wrong with it Wait, I have been doing an excellent job at Washing the clothes. We have no dirty laundry in there. That is great. I literally wash a load every single night We just haven't gotten to the folding putting away but to be fair They aren't settled into rooms yet either because we've had guests non-stop and then guests left These are all clean about to try to fold as much as I can This is what has happened and I'm saying it has happened the fact that it's all clean is a win in my book In fact, there's no dirty laundry piled in there Anyways, so that's what we're gonna be working on. At least I'm gonna be working on this tonight Danielle Might help or she might be yeah, we still have stuff to get unpacked, which that's what I was saying Future sent me finish what I'm saying. Danielle might be unpacking some stuff tonight. That's cool Yeah, you fold the laundry.
