First Time British GROCERY SHOPPING in 2 Years! (We Nearly Cried)

good morning guys welcome back to a brand new video today is an exciting day it's kind of like a preparation day for something that's happening in a couple of days from now we've got our gender reveal party i mean i say party it's a very small gathering and we've just invited some close family but we recently had a scan that tells us the gender we never found out during the scam we asked not to see we asked for them to write it in a little envelope and we've given that to georgia sister emily and she is now going to help us on the gender reveal in giving us the correct cannon to reveal if it's a boy or a girl so we're super excited for that but today it's basically preparation day we need to get some food sorted some drinks and this morning we're heading off and and some decorations this morning we are headed off to park cameras which is our one of our favorite camera stores around here we're in need of a new camera actually on a need of a smaller camera we had the sony rx 100 mark vi i want to say and we just don't really get on with it that the audio is very bad and it's very shaky the footage so we're going to be getting a canon g7x mark iii so we're heading there this morning um so we're running a few errands today basically george is currently just indoors finishing off getting ready i thought i'd come to the car and start the vlog have a chat with you guys get my list writing going figuring out what we need to buy and we're getting there we've got a few really fun ideas for it and it is going to be a really nice day this sunday um and we get to find out if we're having a boy or a girl which is kind of crazy as well i'd love you guys to comment below right now if you think boy or girl what team are you on what one do you think it's gonna be we've had so many mixed comments so many people are determined that it's either a boy or a girl and they're like i'm 100 sure so i really really have no idea right now george and i both have a feeling it's a boy but again that doesn't really mean anything it's just a feeling we'll see but we're gonna head over to park cameras now and see if they've got a camera in stock [Music] so the first stop of today as lucy mentioned park cameras which is where we bought this camera we bought a lot of our camera gear this camera that has been around the world with us panasonic gh5 we use if you're wondering right now uh today we're looking to buy another little smaller camera it's gonna be easier for quick shots and quick vlogs and stuff especially as lucy's getting bigger pregnancy and she doesn't want to be lugging around this is a big setup also bought our drone here also bought another camera here gopro maybe it's our favorite camera shop locally to us so always like to swing in here when we are in the area hope they got some stock we're going to go and have a little look now okay fail unfortunately they did not have one in stock probably should have asked or phoned up or looked online before coming over here but never mind we will come back soon and try and get hold of one we wanted it for sunday sunday have you said what's happening sunday very exciting but we do need to go and do this food shot this is going to be the first time we've been in a supermarket in the uk for a long time we're going to see all of our favorite old things and food and snacks we're going to have to be careful not to go crazy and buy everything i do want to get some lunch first because we're pretty hungry now gonna try and find a nice little spot locally around this area lucy's having a look at some options for lunch there's so many new places that have started up here so we want to try and explore or we just go and get a nando's it's still so weird being able to vlog without wearing a mask in public it is quite nice we actually are still putting our mask on if we get too close to anyone we're in shops or in shops and when we go and order this we'll put our mask on but found a little nice place for breakfast it's called on the park on the park it's a little cafe there's a really nice green area over here which we may go and sit in to have our food which would be really really nice [Music] [Music] that i could feel this way it sounds great this is something like lucy would make me at home i've got some bread tomatoes and some avocado so nice and healthy it's good it looks really nice we said when we got back here we wanted to make an effort to find some local places and this is just a small cafe on a road and we were passing so all [Music] don't good know your name [Music] just wanna corners but anyway sanitize that yes sanitize before you eat i was i wanted to find something that rhymed anyway that was a very very long but successful food shop yes and party shop we got a big gender reveal on sunday guys coming soon we will find out if we're having a boy or a girl we will do a little grocery haul when we get out but that is a huge huge supermarket we were probably in there for about two and a half hours that's tesco i think about two hours no near more close to two hours i think we've got some lunch now yeah we picked up from halloumi skewers m s food did they do these like it was a kebab and a salad for five pounds yeah i've got halloumi and pepper with a roasted sweet potato and chipotle pickle nice i got sweet potato and morocco well moroccan sweet potato couscous so we're going to sit here eat our snack eat our lunch um it was weird being there yeah it was it was cool they do everything we're kind of now looking at prices but instead of in the philippines where you convert it from pound to peso here we're like in our head we're like what's that in pesos what is that cheaper is that expensive like trying to figure out figure out the conversion and backwards and it was weird just seeing like loads of the foods that we've missed for so long we didn't actually buy anything like naughty we'll do a big like food shop soon i think soon for the things we've missed but today wasn't about that so well we are all prepared for sunday we need to take it to my mum's house this afternoon keep it there because that's where we're doing it um yeah good preparation that's good for us man because we often do stuff on the same day and we're two days early for this hope it doesn't all got a date [Music] okay guys we got a lot of stuff we're not gonna go through all of this but this is our first kind of like food shop our fridge right now um is tiny horrible we need to get a new one that's fine we still need to like fully explain this whole place where we're staying at the moment it'll be an upcoming vlog but for now we need to get this in there [Music] wow somehow that actually all went in that's a miracle [Music] okay so a little bit later sticking with the food theme we were going to cook but we came around his parents house and jasmine rose we're doing a chinese takeaway so this is our first one back before we joined them is what we have a ton of stuff it's just like a plate full of food noodles rice chicken dark cakes delicious spicy chili crispy chili chicken that's crispy stuff egg fried rice rice prawn toast sesame uh i can't even get my words out i'm very hungry it's friday night a lot quite late on friday night as well already yeah a lot of people in england always have like some takeout food like this on a
