Where Will We Get Married? Planning Our WEDDING!

good morning guys welcome back to another video i've never started a vlog from this angle before we're currently in the bedroom and got a really awesome view out here we've got the tennis courts down here the mall just here and it kind of leads up to our view from the balcony as well i'm also fascinated by fascinated by how many other condos are here so how many different lives are kind of going on in these little boxes it's kind of fascinating like for every single person their life revolves around them and there's so much to their life i'm going really deep we're literally 20 seconds into the vlog but there's that times like thousands in this place it's kind of crazy kind of reminds me of that place in hong kong where there's loads of um buildings really close to each other but anyway i just wanted to start this vlog by talking about something that you guys have recommended to me and i've done it and let's see if it works so loads of you noticed that i wasn't wearing my engagement ring because it's too big for me and i was planning on getting it resized and then loads of you commented saying don't your fingers might get faster in pregnancy they might swell up and that means then i wouldn't be able to wear it like towards the end of the pregnancy perhaps if i got it smaller now um and they may have already started getting bigger i can't really tell but maybe they have so it's probably smart for me to get it resized properly once you've had the baby but for now those of you guys recommended these they're little ring resizing things and they come in loads of different sizes i just found them on i think it was lizard or shoppie and i think i'll just go for the thinnest one which is thinner this one hopefully this underneath my finger is going to mean that i can wear the engagement ring with it being too big because up to this point i've either not been wearing it or i've been putting another ring over it but it's very uncomfy doing that because it's like it's too big i can really tell it's too big so let's see if this works okay so basically so you can see here there's a little plastic thing that's going to basically hug underneath there i don't know how well you can see that or not let's see if it fits yeah that's way better yeah that's not coming off i now like can't get it oh i can't get it off if i push it to get it off but that's way more secure can i now wear it more regularly i mean it's not that comfy because it's a bit of plastic underneath it but it means that i can wear it i think here we are so if it's any of you watching that recommended it this is how it works thank you so much because that's super handy and it means i can now wear it it's quite well hidden because it's see-through this is sort of the main part of it this side so that's so exciting i can now wear it without being worried back in the hot seat hello guys a bit of a boring background isn't it we do have i'm at the new desk i mean i say new desk this is kind of a temporary desk filming a lot sorry not filming editing we're filming a lot as well but editing a lot of videos i can just see the mountains that just distracted me so nice i've got a little coffee and i'm just so glad that lucy has managed to sort a temporary solution for her ring because honestly if you've seen the proposal video as soon as we put it on it was a little bit too loose and she's been too scared to wear it obviously she wants to wear it i want her to wear it so i'm glad she can now can wear it because that is something you do not want to lose that would just be the worst thing in the world if that fell off somewhere randomly so it needs to be there needs to be safe i was actually reading the comments on the engagement video and a lot of you did have questions about the ring i think lucy did you show it close up i think we've shown you it close up and stuff it's beautiful ring i'm so happy with it i was i chose it and of course a lot of questions about the wedding where's the wedding gonna be when is the wedding and i don't know i'm gonna sit with you here that's quite nice we actually aren't too sure ourselves because there's a lot going on the thing is like we've had we've spoken about the baby ladies we've spoken about the engagement layers but we haven't actually spoken about the wedding once i've just realized true like it's literally not it's almost like it's it now we're like oh yeah well we're engaged now so it doesn't matter like we haven't spoken about the way just enjoy being engaged i think for us obviously the baby is gonna be the most important thing and all our focus time and energy is gonna be on the baby up until the moment it's born and after i was gonna say more so after yeah so to answer when the wedding is going to be we're not exactly sure but it is going to be after the baby's born we know that my guess would be the baby's born january of 2022. i am 99.99 sure that it's not happening in 2022 really that whole year once we've got a baby i'm not gonna have time to plan a wedding this is what it's a baby it's two it's got needs too much attention this is what i don't get and i'm gonna look back and say you're an idiot for saying this but i don't know why weddings take so long to plan well you're not probably not going to be planning it on people plan it for like two or three years some people yeah because just do it in an afternoon it's not like that choose a venue yeah but if you're going by dress but i know that's not true i'm only joking i know that takes longer not it's not that people take literally like two years and they're spending every day planning it it's the venues gets booked i know i know and you need to have like a date in advance yes and things get booked up i know so yeah obviously the wedding is going to be we we said we both wanted a long engagement we want to enjoy being engaged and really plan our dream perfect wedding when the time is right and we want our baby to kind of be there 20 23 yeah i think i think 2023 could be the one maybe not i don't like it to me it doesn't matter that much like i i'm enjoying the engagement we know we are getting married even if it happens in like four years that's fine like i don't think that i don't think maybe it could be who knows we could have two kids yeah if we get yeah we're in no real rush yeah the other hot question where are you having the wedding again we do not know there's different sides to it really because obviously most of our family all of our family almost all of our family live in england we've got some family around the world we've got some phone call okay george has got to take a phone call quickly because we've got something being delivered i think yes we've got family around the world but most of our family live in england yes if we have the wedding in england it would be very much easier as in less people would have to travel for it it'd just be some people from elsewhere coming to england as opposed to our entire family hopping on a plane however i finished my phone call one back did you say about like our kind of thought process well i was halfway through okay so we would love love love to have a wedding in the philippines maybe in boracay or maybe like a beach type wedding good weather all our family there obviously that has logistical issues people cost issues well people have work people would have to book all the same time off work in one go which might be difficult for like i don't know 15 20 people costs yeah it's very very expensive it's a long flight it's not like it's not like flying from england to spain which would cost like 50 pounds this is like flying from to pretty much like over halfway across the world and it costs a lot of money it would be thousands and thousands of thousands of pounds for everyone to pay to get over here unless we paid for everyone yeah which we could but that would cost us a lot of money yeah so that'd be a big cost that would be insane it would be amazing and yeah it would be easier to have the wedding in the uk but then you're not going to get like the beach and that that we both would love that kind of wedding yeah because we've spent so much time over this part of the world and in the philippines we i don't know and we got engaged in the philippines it would make sense more it decisions about our future and chats and talks and stuff in this country and it would feel a lot more meaningful to have it here it would make more sense to have it here in that respect but practicality-wise it wouldn't but saying that we could do like kim and tom they just got married in england our friends from lovequito no sorry the keto family they changed their youtube name and they got they had their wedding with close family in england but also when they're next in the philippines they're going to have like a second wedding here so that's an option we could do like because because i was thinking we could do like the ceremony with all of our family and friends in england and like have a big kind of thing there and then here we can invite whatever family wants to come and do a ceremony of some kind more yeah like a celebration and like party slash celebrating the wedding or almost like a honeymoon but with family oh yeah that could be cool and then we could move around a little bit as well and show you the family that come out like some special places and friends as well like obviously let's try and do that let's try and do something like that there's a lot to think about we'll obviously keep you updated when we if if and when we make plans but for now i hope that answers some of your questions i wish the philippines was closer to england if i could like rearrange the world that would be awesome let me just go home go home for the weekend and like come back out here you could do it if you had like unlimited money no but it would be so much time i'm not it's only a one-day travel yeah it's a whole day of travel and you're exhausted after it imagine like every weekend going from the time difference couldn't do true that would kill you but anyway i hope that answered some of your questions if you have any more questions about like the engagement wedding etc do let us know because we'll try and answer them we do try and think about what are you going to be wanting to know we think ahead and we also aren't yeah but obviously questions always come up like we didn't think of that we maybe should have answered that in the vlog um so yeah so i don't know why oh focus hello there you go i don't know why it took us living here for two years to discover that you can get someone to do your groceries for you um and you just pay them i mean we've done landers deliveries before and like online food shops but you have to wait for like an available slot it might be like three days from now or whenever but this is like the equivalent of ordering dinner on food panda we've just been we found this app where you can just go pick any grocery store and people can go there for you which is great because of vcq we can't both go out together i can't i've not left the building this whole time i like to know what we're ordering because i don't trust george in the grocery store because if something's not available or whatever i'd rather i'd rather someone like can call me and i can decide what to go for just because i do all the cooking and i feel like i know what needs to be bought more than george does so it's so so handy so we just had a big delivery of meat from rare food and then also we ordered some stuff from just rustin's marketplace which is only downstairs but it meant that i could order it but stay indoors which is really good much safer for me as well we've got some ground pork some chicken fingers which looks slightly questionable i'm not sure about that but there we go i had some cubed chicken some ground chicken and also some pork steak okay so we've got loads of vegetables some pasta sauces some pesto some sparkling water some whole wheat pasta another pasta some wraps some cheese and some cinnagon so on the topic of weddings i wanted to quickly talk about the ring a little bit more because it was all about being engaged not actually about the ring at the time so i just want to show you this so george actually got this from a company called lily and co and it's a princess cut diamond the main one in the middle princess cut is just basically how like the shape and how it's been made i don't know the exact there's actually a really cool unusual thing i've got to share with you i don't think many people can say they've got this from their engagement ring which makes it extra special they've actually put together a video george requested a special video of the process of them making it so i'm going to put it on the screen here and as i talk about it i can then you can watch along with me it's just beautiful it shows the whole craftsmanship from the start to finish and i had no idea that's how rings were made and it's all like made by hand made especially for me um which makes it even more special and it's just beautiful i love it it's super shiny it's white gold right the metal yes uh with diamonds and it's just so nice i'm really really happy with it which is lucky because i have to wear it for many years to come so it's lucky that i like it um and they even said the like is it warranty you call it and like all the official documentation and a nice little certificate sorry diamond certificate with a little pouch here with their branding on it's super sweet official documentation for it that it comes with german logical institute of america gia and there's even details in here about like the exact specific cut and the sizing and the clarity and it's so interesting i didn't even know that much about diamonds before i say it's very exciting my first official diamond you may remember when george got me a ring and a necklace in two separate occasions actually one was my birthday and one was just a random surprise and they were both from lillian co as well and when he surprised me of them i did follow them on instagram i did check out their website and they've got some beautiful engagement rings and little brows so this was many years many months ago now but george did choose this all by himself he should be proud of himself but i just thought i'd go into a bit more detail today to document this and share with you guys i've had a lot of questions on my instagram and things people being quite interested in it so i thought i'd go into more detail but here we go i'm so pleased i've got that thing now so actually i can wear it and with that guys we are ending off today's video i'm going to step outside and enjoy a little bit of sunshine on this balcony while we have it because it has been raining the last couple of days but today as you can see oh it's so bright it's even too
