We never had a big ceremony/reception when we got married, so maybe it's time to do it? What do you think?!
We're the Murrays, trying to master the art of growing up one day at a time.
Our favorite pastime, shopping at Walmart.
Look, I have not done anything. I've been in the house before going to a birthday party.
Well, I was told we were coming here to get groceries.
And we've not gone down to the grocery aisle yet.
Just saying.
Well, that was a bust.
Okay, not really. We probably should not all go grocery shopping anymore.
It's fine for little trips to the store, but we've been out of groceries since we got back from Pennsylvania.
And so that trip was kind of painful.
We have a cart full of groceries. Car full now of groceries.
Three really grumpy kids because we missed their naps.
They're going straight in for nap time while I put all of these away.
And I am tired. I realized I did not eat today.
So I'm going to go in and eat something.
You want to pee? Alright, don't pee on yourself. We'll go in.
So that's my cue to get Elena out of the car.
And yeah, we will vlog in a little bit once we get these groceries in and everything.
Here he is. Here's the man of the house.
What are you doing?
I'm vlogging.
The kids are napping. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.
I'm really, I'm very glad that they're actually all sleeping right now because I think those were a little crazy at the store.
Anyway, so, well, Adeline's not sleeping. She is playing with her toys.
You like the owl? He makes cool noises.
Yeah, she seems to like him. He's pretty cool.
I love that she's, like, interacting with things more and, like, she's going to laugh soon.
I know. I just feel it. She'll be three months in a couple days.
It's crazy how fast the time is going.
So this is what I am left with here.
Lots and lots and lots of stuff to put away.
This is always the hardest part for me because by the time I'm done grocery shopping,
the last thing I really want to do is spend time putting everything away.
But, gotta do it.
Oh, I hear Jude. Sounds like Jude's awake.
She did not sleep for very long.
Anyway, so I'm going to hurry up and get some of these things to put away
while John's working and while all the kids are down.
So this year is our five year anniversary.
And you know what we're going to do? We're going to have a wedding.
No, we're not. We have no plans to do that.
We didn't have a wedding.
We didn't have a real big ceremony.
We didn't have a real anything.
We had a wedding.
Apparently I'm the girl in this relationship because that's something I always wanted.
Not like to plan it, but just to be a part of it.
Just to be the groom in one.
I've been in a lot of weddings. I've been to a lot of weddings.
And I have not had that opportunity to do that.
And so this was going to be the year.
We were going to renew our vows and have a ceremony.
It's just expensive. It costs so much.
We're going to do a potluck.
We're going to do a potluck wedding.
Just come on down and bring your cousins.
Get some baked beans and some pork rinds and we'll do the thing.
We don't do pork rinds at a potluck. You do fried chicken.
Whatever. I was just trying to sound like we're in there.
You weren't doing it.
Well, we didn't do a wedding.
Pork rind favors.
Our anniversary is June 25th.
And we have a venue.
No, we don't.
The farm.
Okay, his dad, he means there's a land.
There's land.
There's a land.
There's land and there's horses.
We could ride it on horses.
Think of the possibilities with this.
And there's llamas. Alpacas.
They could be our groomsmen.
His dad was going to be building a barn for a wedding venue.
But it's not even started.
So I don't think it would be done by June.
So.
Look.
We just have to do it.
Yeah, it just costs money.
It doesn't have to.
If you're married out there, what's the cheapest you did your wedding for?
Like a full ceremony, reception, everything.
What'd you do it for?
Alright guys, I bought red lipstick today.
I don't really wear lipstick. It's kind of weird for me.
But we have a video coming up that I need to use it in.
So I'm just trying to get used to myself in it.
Anyway.
Plus I wanted to see what it looked like.
I don't know. Do you like it? Yes? No?
Can I pull off red lipstick?
I feel like it's a little dressier than I normally look.
Anyway.
And I kissed Jude.
She's got a cute lip mark.
Here is grumpy Elena.
And here is Judy Judy.
And here is Tyler.
Waking up the baby.
No, you woke her up. She was sleeping.
Get away from her now.
Sorry Adeline.
I'm sorry Adeline.
Sorry baby.
There we go.
Anyway, so.
This is life in the evenings at the Murray house.
I had no idea what time it was.
Our clocks are not set forward yet.
So I was thinking it's 5 and it was 6.
And Elena just woke up.
Well, John woke up.
So yeah, wish us luck on bedtime tonight.
I'm pretty sure that it's going to be really ridiculous.
To try to get them to go to bed.
At their normal 7 o'clock.
Which is in a half an hour.
They haven't had dinner.
It's not happening.
So I bought these things today that are new.
And I'm hoping that the kids like them.
It's like, let's see.
It's got freezer.
Steam fresh.
Can you see this?
Wait, where is it? There we go.
Like peas and pasta.
Anyway.
So I'm heating that up for them to see if they like it.
Hopefully they do.
Because it seems like a pretty decent dinner.
That's like quick to make.
So we can just feed them.
Or when John's not here and I'm looking for something easy.
So I'll let you know how it goes.
We'll have to see if they eat it or not.
Jude, are you being a good helper?
Are you helping daddy?
Yeah, that's so sweet.
Giving wipes for Elena.
What a sweet girl.
Can you say hi to everyone?
Say hi.
Right here, in the camera.
Say hi.
Alright, do you guys like it?
What do you think?
Is it yummy?
You didn't eat it yet.
What about you? Judy, do you like it?
Do you like your pasta?
Is it good? Say yes or no.
Yes or no.
Let's see.
Mmm, that sounds like a yes.
What do you think, Elena? Do you like your pasta?
So I guess it's just like peas
and then like an Alfredo-y sauce.
Yeah, and some pasta
shaped like Elsa and Anna.
They seem to really like it.
Okay, I'll find Anna for you.
Let's see.
John disappeared. I think he's just still not feeling good.
So I am going to go.
That way we can get everything cleaned up and get the vlog edited
and posted and we will see you tomorrow.
