When you're a vlogger and you try and find angles.
You've forgotten your microphone.
It doesn't always work.
Yeah, I had to unplug the microphone.
All right, we're going to we're going to switch this angle up.
Hello, guys. Welcome to a brand new video.
Welcome back to the channel.
Hope you guys are all doing well this evening.
Well, what is the time actually?
It's the time change. 4.30pm.
We're in Tagaitai right now.
Is that how you say it? Tagaitai?
Well, I thought it was, but we first came and we said Tagaitai.
We said Tagaitai.
Then we said Tagaitai.
But now I feel like we're saying it wrong and it needs to be Tagaitai.
No, I think it's Tagaitai.
Tagaitai. Tagaitai.
Anyway, comment below how we should say that properly.
We probably should know by now.
But anyway, today we were kind of alarmed when we drove down there
because I mean, we half expected it, but we bought some long sleeves
because it's cooler down here than Manila.
Yeah, it's been like 29, 30 degrees, which if you're English watching this,
it's hot. You're shaking your head at us right now saying
what on earth are you guys talking about?
30 degrees is the epitome of summer.
It's the hottest it ever gets.
But if you're lucky in England, trust us, having spent the last
God knows how long in Manila in the most.
I don't know what's happened.
Manila has just gone crazy with temperatures right now.
We've had 43 and a half degrees on the car.
We've had like 37 most days.
We even in our car park basement at night, the car said 36 degrees
at night in indoors.
Like, how is that possible?
Crazy. So we are enjoying the cooler temperature down here.
There's a nice breeze.
Nice to get out of the city, some fresh air.
And we've had a good time here so far.
We've seen the last couple of vlogs.
Hopefully you've been joining along the adventures with us.
But today, Lucy, Lucy found this awesome place that we're heading to right now.
That's what this vlog is going to be about.
It's a hot chocolate place.
We haven't actually, it's mainly a chocolate place.
It's all things chocolate, actually tablia.
Like it's called something, which is, I think, the Filipino way
of saying chocolate with a twist on the end to make it sound like a cafeteria.
I think I think I'll show you in the area.
It's like a Thai area.
Bless you.
And but we also somehow we've been here for a while.
We haven't actually seen the town lake yet.
So this is going to be a nice view of the town lake,
hopefully with some nice chocolate, nice and cozy.
It should be awesome as as we get into the evening tonight, a hot chocolate.
We would never go and really have hot chocolate in Manila.
So we thought, let's take the opportunity
and go have a lovely evening, bring you guys along.
So welcome to the vlog. That's what we're doing.
We're in the five series and we're having a great time.
So, yeah, let's go.
Are you navigating, Lucy?
Yes. As always, my job is chief navigator.
Very good at navigating. Such a smooth car.
But it's big and long and hard to park in small places.
Oh, I say. That sounded rude.
I was going to say, story of my life. Right that way.
Oh, fantastic.
Is he parking in there or is he leaving?
He's trying to park in there. I don't want to reverse.
No, you don't. You're going to wait.
How far is the journey? How long?
A shockingly long 10 minute journey.
OK, by the way, I kind of want to live in Tigaytay.
Yeah, we were saying. I really like it.
I feel like this is one of the best trips we've had here.
And I'm realising how much incredible food there is here.
There are so many great restaurants and spots to come for coffee
and desserts and like everything.
And I'm just I'm imagining us living here suddenly.
I don't know where I've got this from.
OK, we're going to move this camera now because it's definitely going to fall off.
Traffic is kind of crazy this time of day.
And kind of holding up the whole of Tigaytay now.
Yeah, it's kind of crazy.
There's a guy in the road trying to help us, but traffic's not really stopping.
And we're just trying to reverse to get into this place.
He's got a few parking spots available, but I think
we got the last one, luckily.
Where's he gone? He's right over there.
Look, he's over there, look, he's there.
Oh, my goodness.
Do you know who he is?
Oh, what was that?
Did he hit something?
I can't see anything.
OK, we managed to park the car.
That was an ordeal.
We didn't vlog that.
But basically, the car has a feature where it stops itself
if it thinks it's going to hit something.
And because it was quite steep here, I was trying to park
and get out of the way of traffic, but the car kept slamming its brakes on,
which is a good feature because it would stop you from hitting something.
But in that situation, it was a little a little bit embarrassing
because everyone, the whole of the road was held up watching me park.
And the car was doing that.
And it looked like I couldn't park.
But anyway, we made it.
Nice. This is cozy.
OK, so we've ordered some hot chocolate and there were two types.
There was, I never know how to say it, just like chocolate.
Chocolate, which was sweet or air, which was bittersweet.
We went for bittersweet because we're not huge sweet eaters.
We prefer the bittersweet stuff and they've got a whole menu about the food.
But we're not hungry for the food.
We're just here for the hot chocolate and the view.
The view is really nice, but it's kind of blocked off a little bit.
But if you stand up, you get a really nice view.
So once I've got my hot chocolate, I might go for a little wander over here
and sort of take the view in while we've got our drinks.
But there was a big gust of wind just then, and I literally went,
I was like, and again, it's cold wind.
It's weird to feel for the first time in a long time.
I cannot even imagine being in England right now.
I think we'd really struggle with the way you're doing George's dancing.
But he does.
I'm enjoying the wind, you know.
I'm enjoying the wind here.
Look at this vlog angle. That's awesome.
Start every vlog like this.
I look like a square.
We don't get that in BGC.
Thank you.
Sorry. Thank you.
Thank you so much. Thank you.
This is your order, ma'am.
Thank you so much.
Hot chocolate.
Here's the bittersweet.
Thank you.
One of the famous chocolateria.
Oh, great.
It's our first time trying.
Yes, it's Filipino made.
Smells great.
Yeah.
How dark it is.
Wow.
Yes, ma'am.
Thank you so much.
Yes, but this is hot.
Thank you.
Be careful.
Thank you.
So cool. I love this.
I love this.
It's so dark.
It's kind of like, it's kind of like authentic.
It's kind of like authentic.
You know what I mean?
Like, you would have this up in the mountains.
We are kind of in the mountains.
Kind of in the mountains.
Yeah.
Right, shall we try?
Shall I try?
I couldn't believe when he poured it out.
It looked like sort of licorice black color.
There's a huge mosquito.
I need to get this.
Oh, yeah.
I'll look out for it.
You're on mosquito watch.
It's there.
Oh, no, maybe it's a dragonfly.
No, it's not.
What dragonfly is this one?
Maybe a baby.
We've got so many people watching.
Really?
You can see already.
Let's just get a close up here.
You've got like the bitty bits of a hot chocolate.
The bitty bits.
That sounds weird.
Like the, you can tell it's like homemade, right?
It's not like a super smooth one.
It's more authentic.
Oh, nice.
Kind of has like a burnt taste in a good way.
I think, I think it's a, look here.
It gets kind of darker.
First of all, I wonder if how they make it in this pot,
they burn it a tiny bit.
It's got like a tiny bit of a burnt taste.
It's not too sweet at all.
The chocolate flavor is really good.
Wow.
So nice.
OK, I'm going to try this.
Nice to be drinking hot chocolate.
Didn't expect, didn't think we would be, but actually I did know
because Lucy told me she found this place.
But you know what I mean?
A few weeks ago, I wouldn't expect to be drinking hot chocolate in the evening.
Just like Mama used to make.
My mum actually makes, yeah, my mum makes a really good hot chocolate.
I'm glad we went bittersweet because that's sweet enough for me.
I wouldn't have wanted anything any sweeter than that.
Oh, I'm cozy now.
I kind of want like a fire, maybe some grilled food.
I don't know.
I feel like holding it like this.
It has that real dark chocolate bitterness as well.
That's good.
The guy who served it to us seemed really proud of it.
He had a big smile on his face and he was saying,
this is homemade hot chocolate, best in the Philippines.
And he was really excited for us to try it.
So we're very impressed.
This is going to come out very well.
Yeah, they sit us in these,
kind of like this is where we're sitting, but it all looks quite nice.
But yeah, I kind of wish that you have to stand up and come over here
to actually appreciate the view.
Wow, it looks nice.
And a really nice, really nice time of day.
Just by chance, this bird, it looks like I photoshopped it in.
It's just sat there.
It's been a while since we saw the lake and this view never gets old.
We've been down here quite a few times now.
You've probably seen vlogs of us down here before in previous years and months.
Actually, not much this year, to be honest, not much this year,
but it never gets old along here.
It's just so stunning.
Crazy how different this looks since the eruption.
This is the actual Tau volcano.
Yeah, but look at that.
It's incredible how clear it is, but it's such a different shape now.
It is, isn't it? And different colour.
Yeah, it's fab.
And just like that, look at that lens flare, just like that we're back at the hotel
and we are ready for whatever the evening has in store for us.
It's really nice to experience something like that in the cold
that we can't do in BGC.
And we're back at Quest Hotels now.
Make sure you are subscribed to the channel
because you've got lots more vlogs from this trip coming soon.
We've got loads more planned, actually.
It's a very fun filled trip.
We've crammed a lot into the small amount of time that we're here
and we're looking forward to the rest of our stay.
Look at this lovely lighting behind us.
Lovely boyfriend you have here.
If if you're the viewers who we just met, well, no, the new viewers,
because we met some people, they saw us filming.
So, hey, what's your channel?
And we said, what's making it happen vlog?
Didn't really.
We said, hey, it's a juicy vlog and they subscribed.
So if that's you and you were there, then I hope you like the channel.
It was good to meet you guys.
You're super friendly.
Thanks for one piece of hair.
Oh, that's so annoying.
Thanks for giving us a warm welcome.
And as Lucy said, make sure you subscribe to this channel.
Give us a thumbs up if you enjoyed the video today.
And we'll see you in the next one very, very soon.
Bye. Bye.
