BGC Has Been TAKEN OVER! Manila More Beautiful Than Ever

[Music] good morning guys welcome to a beautiful day in vgc i've got way too much stuff on my face mask sunglasses and a shield today but we're fully protected we're out in the high school we just went for a little bit of breakfast that if you saw that clip you just saw was us trying out a brand new breakfast spot called bake house manila it's actually part of the shangri-la hotel right on the ground level pretty good we had i had like an eggs on sourdough scrambled eggs and some bacon and stuff which i'm pretty sure they got from the hotel's buffet but it was good and lucy had and lucy had some pastries and stuff like that i had not something like that had plural pastry for breakfast i had one pastry and you had two pastries and your breakfast george as he said he's in bulking season apparently i had a tomato and cheese quiche which was really good and then we shared a ham and cheese croissant and a sausage roll and it was pretty good wasn't it the staffer friendly the coffee was pretty good and we met a viewer had a really cute little kid so it's been a good morning definitely they're actually setting up for this sunday weekend market thing they do where they close the whole road here and everyone can just kind of hang out in the street and some restaurants set up their stores so on weekends you can actually have dinner out on the street which is super nice but just wanted to bring you a laid back sunday vlog today we're gonna actually walk up here because there's a lot of stuff going on by the way filming on the new phone samsung s21 ultra let us know what it's like for vlogging we thought we'd try it out um when we're just out and about like this and we didn't want to bring like the huge camera casual sunday morning stroll very hot but up here we've got like a plant market and actually that's huge should we go and have a look yeah definitely because new apartment soon guys which means new plants i think i think yeah i think we're gonna i've never not liked plants we've made it like a joke on the vlog but i love the plants we have and i think there's more spaces for more plants in the new one especially the balcony i know that kidney not my phone george's hair in the morning hey hey now hey now hey now that's not fair no uh yeah it's pretty much accurate so we've got a load of plants here i think it's actually bigger than last time because it goes into this like what is it like a little we'll show you in a sec like a little hot area but it's so nice it's huge there's so many here it's crazy we had some uh comments recently asking for a little bit of a walk around bgc vlog it's been a while so this is a the latest in bgc they're always doing something here look at this it's like a jungle here oh that's so nice look at that would you like that that's really nice do you know do you think we have this one yes yes we've got a smaller version of it right well done george what's this a uh um a small tree no no you know rubber plant yes yes i know some plants you know you do you're learning totally useless should we do one more quiz okay okay let me find another oh this one um i just told you this this morning a ferris station a moristano a you can't say that you know what that means right i have no idea what that is i told you like one hour ago oh like a need or something a needle or a stay plant or something a small anyway george what's this one say that again snake plant yeah i know that one i do know that one i love this for a balcony there's all the way around here so if you don't know this is where at one point they had the food market that we've discovered has now been moved up to the top of the high street yeah and actually look it's a nice day let's walk along there as well yeah let's go all the way up do a bit of exercise walk off that breakfast that we just had not going to the gym today gym is closed on sundays so this is what we're doing with our sunday morning very nice we did want to come out a little earlier it was 11 already but we came out around 9 30. not bad i love this the pattern so nice hi how are you good good thank you thank you really nice are you liz who are you nice super nice it's really cool thank you i love this two tone so i'm thinking we should and now you know how to say how much in tagalog um mcconnell we're learning guys but it's still very bad these are nice how long is this going to be here for do you know um i think around march oh really okay thank you this is what i was talking about i don't know what it is do you eat in it or do you just think about plants in it so it's like a little area where you come and contemplate whether you should buy the expensive plant or not i think you come around you go do i need it no but do i want it yeah wow look over here so many nice plants they all look so healthy as well wow we've got a lot of plant peters and plant tito's that watch these vlogs so i'm becoming one myself actually are you plant tito george i am so basically with the new condo we have been all over pinterest especially with the balcony we're looking for we're looking for balcony inspiration yeah this is our marketing inspiration all these pinterest pictures that we've been seeing are like so many plants everywhere yeah um so we're thinking of just going crazy on the balcony oh we need to check that we're allowed yeah we can't we are we can plants are good yeah okay we were thinking of going crazy with plants on the new balcony so if you guys have seen any i know cool balconies online or in other people's vlogs then let us know comment below where we can see it something else with our place so it's kind of windy outside and it's also going to have a lot of direct sunlight so we need to think about what plants will cope well in the sunlight and also with the wind and i know that some plants are good for that and some won't survive yeah that so we need to like do some research i think so let us know in the comments good for morning daylight like from sunrise up until what the afternoon having direct sunlight and also a little bit of wind what would what plants would you guys recommend that we go for because oh look at this yeah because i don't know but look at these crazy bonsai trees as well like that's is that meant to be like that i have no idea but look at the price of we saw bonsai trees here the other day 250 000 no hold your horses oh my god are you kidding me 750 000. wow can you google that how much that crosstalk this bonsai tree beautiful oh you've got my phone in your hand right now yeah it's stunning wow what three quarters of a million pesos nearly that's incredible that's half a parking spot in our new condo wow but how old is this thing it could be really old is it safe it's beautiful isn't it i'd be so scared though imagine imagine you had a big mansion and in the entrance you could have this as like a centerpiece kind of thing i'd be sorry but imagine if you couldn't look after it very well well this is cool as well really nice yeah that's pressure isn't it huge pressure if you buy something that expensive and then you can't and then it dies well if i spend like 2 000 on a plant i get nervous if it dies but this is like this is a little bit more actually it's more like this now i think that's a bit more accurate [Music] so this is where the food market now is which is way further up the high street than it used to be we thought it had gone but they just moved it i found my cat oh it looked white and ginger like me oh yeah that's true pretty much yeah white and black you're wearing black and white today on your t-shirt you've got black hair and white trainers that's you as a cat true this is jordan a cat it's not gonna eat you you can stand close you look scared oh yeah and this is me it's me and george hanging out on a sunday oh who's this someone else i don't know it looks kind of sad this one [Music] okay and it's so far outside we decided to come down into this underground food market area nice and get a little bit of frozen yogurt we have to film a vlog here before you guys remember and we really like this frozen yogurt place i hope it's open i need it with the mango it's going to be so refreshing are they oh no they're closed loose they open that's closed no all right plan b this is the place that we like oh we just had breakfast thank you looks good is it crispy nice okay plan b whilst we wait for that to open grab a little coffee i'm thinking iced americano because it's so hot today [Music] okay we got our frozen yogurt how is it really good we finally it opened basically we kind of went around the shop did a bit of shopping and then it opened and we got frozen yogurt with pistachio and hazelnut sauce for me mango kiwi grapes and then like mochi balls as well it tastes so good so fresh big portion healthier than ice cream a little bit not with the chocolate sauce and it's going to cool us down hopefully so we're just sat in the high street now eating nuts also wanted to quickly mention my dress because i really like it and you may remember in the royal blog she said we met a lady called penny who has a company called star stunner manila we pop the instagram on the screen here she basically sent me a load of clothes recently and swimwear for an upcoming trip we have so i'll show you it all in more detail in another vlog soon than over on my instagram but i'm just trying this dress out today it's so nice it's like a real sundress you can just tie the thingy here i actually put it on back to front in the changing rooms earlier i had the bows here but i think you can do either because you can do it yourself and you can have it like this or like this and obviously like higher up or lower if you wanted it as well because you can kind of do the sleeves yourself but super nice quality and really reasonably priced as well so if you're looking for some new clothes i'd highly recommend checking it out all the clothes are like handmade and stuff and if you buy from her you're supporting the people that make the clothes as well which is really awesome so like i said we'll pop it on the screen and you can
