WE HAVE GOOD NEWS AND BAD NEWS...

It's mail time! Guys, it's finally here. I'm so excited about this. So we're waiting on some news today about our house. Danielle's saying she has something to tell me. Already, out the gate, running into problems. My dating just got... ...busier. Good morning, everybody. We just wrapped up breakfast here in the Murray household. We got kids watching Bible Man on TV. Trying to get a few things done. So we're like, you guys watch a little bit of TV. And Tyler's doing...Tyler's doing Bible on paper. Boggle Tyler! What are you doing, Boggle Tyler? Oh, she's focused. So we're waiting on some news today about our house. Trying to get our lot picked out. There's one we really want. There's another one we kind of want. We're waiting on them to approve them for the size. They said they don't know if they can do it. Already, out the gate, running into problems. Fingers crossed that we can get the one we want. Guys, this box has been on the floor for like a month. Maybe two months. We're trying to do a like camping...indoor camping with them. And it's a big tent. It'll probably take up this whole room. And we haven't done it yet. There's that. If you see that box in like all our videos from the last month, month and a half. That's what it is. But we're going to make indoor s'mores. We're going to do it all. We're going to do it. It's going to happen. It has to happen before the summer's over. We could take them out here. And do it on our backyard in our grass. That would be lovely. Okay, guys. If you watched our last vlog, then you saw where we were trying to pick out a lot. Not being sure if we were going to move forward. Because the lots that they had available in the first phase of this neighborhood. The ones that are left. There's only one really that we could fit the home plan that we want. Without compromising and losing our entire backyard. Basically, we'd be downgrading our yard. Yeah. And that was kind of the one thing we were like from the get-go. We're like, we are going to at least have the same size right now. Especially after we just did what we did to our backyard. So we could leave off the third car garage. But that loses some space on the second floor. I think for us, the yard being at least as big as ours now. And that third car garage are like non-negotiable. Because we don't have to move. We just would really like to move into a little bit bigger of a space. I think we were like, all right. We're fine waiting until the second phase. Working a little harder. You know, just in case it costs more. And like, just to get a lot that we want. They were checking on one lot that we were like, oh, we love this so much. This would be perfect. But she's like, I really don't think it's big enough. We thought it was before. Somebody said it was at one point. But there's a lot of miscommunication. And then looking at it, it was like. It looks really good. Right? It looks. And then I've been looking over like the plan for it. And I'm like, oh, it does look smaller than the other ones. So I got a text today. They were waiting for some information from me. And I sent that over. I haven't told John this. She hasn't told me. I'm over here like, can we, you tell me? Okay, so I'm in a group chat with our realtor and the builder's realtor. He was like, add me to it. I'm like, no, I'll just keep you updated. So it's kind of fun though. Cause then I get to like. Then I get to like share it with him. Okay. So I got a text. Okay. And it said, and she said, okay, so I think I have an answer on the lot, but I'm always double and triple checking. So let me give me a little bit and I'll get back to you. And I was like, that could go either way. That could be, I have an answer, but let me just double check. Or it could be, I have an answer, but let me just double check. You know? Then she said, I know the suspense is killing you. So our realtor gave her a suggestion of someone to reach out to. And she was calling somebody else. And then the realtor came back and said, it's all good. Just hung up. We can do it. The one we want, the one we want, the one we want. She said, we just need to talk about elevation because I guess with certain elevations, we'd have to push it back a little further in the property. That's okay. It is okay. Cause the backyard in this is very long. We'll just have to stake it out. But like, she's going to call us around like 12 or one. She said today. So we can talk about it and talk about the options. And then we need to get your mom to come over so we can go look at it and kind of like stake it out and see where our house would sit. But you guys, I'm so excited. It's like the one we wanted, wanted, wanted the most was taken. And it's right next door to this one. But this one was like close second. It wasn't like a big deal. But the idea that they might not let us put the house on. It was like, Oh no. Cause there's nothing we've looked at them all. There's genuinely nothing else that we would cause all of them have like, like ski slopes for backyards. Yeah. There's like the backyard is like non-existent. Can't wait to show it to you. We'll have to go and just, we'll have to drive over there. We can keep the kids buckled in the car just so we could show you like, it's so flat and big and like so much space. I'm so excited. So anyway, that's our house update for today. We are able to get the lot we want. We just got to make some decisions now because obviously we're going to have to nail down a contract. My baby just got busier. I was going to work on work. Now it looks like I have to make a whole list and prioritize like all the things we want because we're trying to get a contract nailed down pretty quickly. And I'm like, I don't even know what options are. She's like, just write down the things that you want and that you want me to put is included in the offer. And I'm like everything. Let me get right to work on that. John help. You know what time it is everybody. It's mail time. I have a special thing in the mail today, guys. It's finally here. I'm so excited about this. You know, I don't get packages very often. So whenever I do get them, I'm pretty stoked about it. When you become an adult, you get excited about the weirdest things. I finally have a blower and a hopefully decent working weed eater. I had good reviews on Amazon. So I'm excited to use it here. And then it's our new house. Look at that. Easily converts from trimmer to edger. Didn't even know that. Stoked. I might even clean this house with this. Sweet. Pretty stoked about this. Okay. So in just a few minutes, we are having a phone call with our real estate agent. This call, like they're, they're ready for us to sign a contract, which is great, but we don't like know exactly what we want yet. And so they're like trying to get it going. So our agents like, Hey, we're going to talk about this, talk you through it. Let's just figure out what you want and go from there. Guys, it's feeling real. Is it feeling real? We just got some possible exciting news. We're talking about like, obviously we want to nail down our contract quickly so that we secure the lot we want, but we're having to make a lot of decisions that I think we weren't ready to. So we were just talking with our realtor about different options for things, different structural upgrades that we would want to make. Obviously there are some things. Oh my glory. What did you do to my baby? I didn't do that. Look, I just organized all that stuff. Well, they get to occupy. Mary, what's on your head? Mary, you dumped it all out. I'm excited. Are you excited? I am kind of nervous that like, we're going to get there and sit down and I'm like, here's all the things I want. They're going to be like, Oh, you need double the amount of money that you have. All right. So we just got an email back from our realtor and she sent us over numbers. That is more than it was with the bath before. Yeah. The numbers have changed. No, like a lot. It's definitely like way more than we were expecting it to be. So, so we found out that really like one of the things was priced way higher than it was. And then the elevation, we didn't realize like when we got the original quote, we didn't get all of them. It wasn't all of the different options. We just got like some of the basic ones, I think. Honestly, it's the third floor that's like, but it's so much more than it was. Yeah. Like so much more than it was that we're like, well, we can't put that in our budget. So we're, I don't know what we're going to do. We're going to spend the night probably looking at this stuff and try to figure out what the heck we're going to do. Yeah. It's been a long day. I feel like I'm emotional, drained, emotionally drained. You know, like the excitement is one thing and that like takes energy. But I had somebody who was like, just projected a lot of negative feelings to me earlier today and was trying to be like kind and patient and helpful. And they just weren't there for that. And they're like, I just like so upset earlier. It takes a lot out of you. I think sometimes people, especially people like I haven't met in person, you know, like they think they, it's like you feel like you know somebody, but at the same time, like they forget that I'm an actual person with feelings. Anyway. So I feel like I'm just like, Oh, I don't even want to look at stuff right now. Cause I just, I'm so drained and tired. Maybe I'll feel better after we eat. Yeah. Maybe we'll get some food for us. So we're going to go guys, but we'll keep you updated on what's going on. We'll try to upload more. We're supposed to be signing by tomorrow. Yeah.
