ONE PROBLEM with Living in Philippines

Good afternoon guys welcome back to another juicy vlog another daily juice hope you guys are all doing well we're currently you join us around lunchtime and we're currently cooking up a feast you would have already seen this we're currently filming the video that probably is already live on the channel lucy cooking up some delicious filipino food some some pancit bihon and some lumpia so if you guys haven't seen that video already go and check it out very very food heavy week this week i think we filmed a we filmed a trying filipino desserts video sat right here and we also had a delivery of some steak from erwin and nico's company chingolo deli we'll insert a quick clip of when that arrived so we've just had a nice delivery here in this beautifully presented wooden box by bolzico beef and the chingolo deli oh nice this looks great we've got some different steaks just here so erwin sent us a message the other day asking if he can send us some of this stuff so we've got new zealand argentina and australia all these different steaks we're going to enjoy using these a little note here from nico as well so thank you guys for sending this over we're definitely going to enjoy cooking some nice steaks up i think we might do this for dinner tonight actually and i feel like i now need to find a use for this box because it's so nice we also had a coffee delivery today from a company who very very kindly sent us a ton of coffee you guys know we set up this coffee station when we moved into this apartment i'm so happy with it we've got the espresso machine filled coffee machine and then we've got usually just one bag we mainly use the arabica beans but look at all this stuff these guys have properly hooked us up these are all whole beans and we've got some big bags at the back babayan brew i think i said that correctly they actually sent us a note on how to pronounce it this is a little note they sent us how to pronounce bye bye in babayan they said lucy and george thank you for being such an inspiration to us for loving our small yet colorful country for embracing filipino culture being so dedicated to your work and keeping our smile because of your good vibe vlogs posts and tiktoks they're a fan of tiktoks we hope that our coffee brightens your day especially your morning so huge thanks to those guys we will let you know when we try this coffee maybe probably in tomorrow's vlog because i think we're done with coffee for today but for us it is friday so i guess that's why i'm kind of rounding up the week i've kind of been like even though we film everything i've been updating you guys on what's been going on if you saw oh my word hopefully you guys saw this video where i bought these horrible cushions they're now a permanent fixture but tuck into this food which you've already seen this is when vlogging blows my mind because you've already seen what i'm about to do i swear there's like some weird time travel possible with vlogging of all the people in the world i think vloggers have worked out time travel okay guys behind the scenes here we're enjoying our dinner but all the power just went off in the apartment we have no idea why usually if it's like scheduled maintenance they tell us they give us warning and the light has come back on but that's it the air comes off i'm eating spicy food yeah we got into that mainly we're too hot and we've got no internet so we have no idea hopefully it's just temporary thing it's going to come back in a minute but not for like 20 minutes it's kind of annoying because i'm boiling hot might be a good time to go out for our walk and then hopefully by the time we get back it'll be fine it's lucky we managed to finish the cooking i know the oven's not off and it won't come back on until it's back they're on like a generator thing but the only thing that comes back on is a fridge and one light we don't get any air con any wi-fi any plugs so we're lucky that the food was finished imagine if it was halfway through cooking and it cut off so we're lucky it's good okay this is that it's an hour later still no electricity it's been forced to sit in the dark under candlelight there's no candles that's a modern smartphone torch but i mean it would have used candlelight you can do um shine it on the ceiling and from that's good and then also that was like a dog licking itself that's like a guard dog okay do you know anything rude no there's a rabbit hang on so yeah that is the update this vlog has taken a very interesting turn something we never you can never plan for okay we have left the apartment and we've come out for a stroll which we were going to do anyway but it basically got too hot in there so we just had to leave on the way down we saw that all the guards and some technicians were at the front of our building looking at this problem and there was some guy halfway up the building on a ladder so then other buildings nearby us as well had the same problem i think there was a load of like awful sounding noises coming from some bgc has overheated and needs rebooting so we're just going to come out and go for a little stroll anyway and get a bit of fresh air no hopefully i think i might what if it could i don't know the longest the longest one we've had is like one or two oh yeah i don't remember six yes but we went out yeah but we're usually very they usually tell you but obviously this is an unplanned i think they call it a brown out rather than a blackout and maybe it's because you get like the generator still it's not like fully black out you're in a city it's just brown maybe i don't know i don't know because you still get like your emergency line yeah but in the uk we never really have that you do sometimes get power cuts but i remember growing up as a kid in storms and stuff more yeah not just random but it's really not very frequent in the uk so kind of surprised us when everything just went out like what's happening also just met the friendliest viewers of the vlog so if that was you if that was you watching really nice friendly couple who had just picked up indian food trying a restaurant yeah that we want to try so people are definitely back out socializing the cats are out so lucy's happy you've got so many they all look really healthy today it's good okay guys we are nearly back let's hope let's hope that the electricity is back fingers crossed can't cross my fingers with one hand why i just can't do it i have to you want to see a good one i can do it with this hand but not the other one one two i said he's been cool like a double cross see talented many many talents the next clip will either be us celebrating or not let's see let's find out christmas oh nice okay this is a really bad sign this is another random building these are these are some generators like on the street they're on the trip setting and they're all they're all red idle not run it should be on run as green i think i'm guessing i'm guessing yeah i'm guessing it should be green i've never seen this red that is not a good sign that means it's a bigger problem than just our building yeah well that's what i said before when we were walking out you heard all the you can hear it now like the building's like yeah some weird noises tonight it's normally quite quiet around these roads apart from traffic so oh it might be a hot and steamy night my dear lovely imagine being a cat not even knowing what electricity is you can hear that that's so loud i don't know if you guys can hear that rumbling but seems like there's a real power problem tonight okay guys we've got an idea i think this needs to be done we're making a decision that's going to help with this brownout because we're going to be really hot because there's no air conditioning so we feel like the only thing that can save us is ice cream yeah yeah it's actually um it's a health health yeah yeah exactly it's going to benefit us so please we have to get lots of ice cream yeah loads guys since when did 7-eleven do these kind of donuts we have never tried these looks like crispy cream we've even got them wrapped up for christmas look oh yeah nice i might have to go for a macadam pot these are insane a whole pot yes so this is not a good sign that this van is still here morale co van is it back oh we're on it's cool in here do you want to take these back yeah uh well the ice cream yeah well no i think because our body temperature probably increased slightly so we should probably still have the ice cream just for health you know yeah yeah just to make sure just to make sure that we cool down just to make sure yeah yeah check it out guys i'm sorry we're not adults are we we are children in a bowl so we don't get all down our clothes that's why that's right guys we have made it back to the apartment the electricity is back as you saw and we freshened up we've had a shower you can't take these simple things in life for granted for some people they're not simple hot water electricity you have to appreciate these things and we are very very glad that is back so we are gonna do our usual standard evening affair now but with an extra little special bit chocolate we've got ice cream in the freezer what do we get again we got yeah magnum classic the number one choice the superior choice of ice cream in my humble opinion i don't think it's too wrong oh really it didn't look like olympia if you haven't seen the food video from the other day guys go ahead and check it out we're gonna end this one off here we're gonna watch some modern family or a movie or something keep those recommendations coming something we used to do in quarantine if you've been watching the channel since quarantine kind of started was hang on there we go got a bit of lighting now was netflix and movie recommendations we would always ask you guys in those vlogs for recommendations because we were all stuck indoors and we were all sharing cool stuff that we'd been watching but kind of crazy how long this has gone on for it is changing yeah you just gotta wake up every day and try and be as positive as you can so if you've watched this
