INSANE Unique Grocery Store in MANILA! How Did we Just Discover This?!

thank you so much making the video today i say evening we're back i've just placed it up a random dinner we both saw some sushi in our food shop earlier and wanted to pick it up and then i realized we had gyoza's in the fridge these korean vegetable gears they look really good and then we were like let's have a little dinner and then go to one of our favorite new places we found we'll show you in a second but basically we're gonna pick up some snacks so a bit of a funny thing with you guys and show you this hidden gem there's some really cool stuff that we're gonna show you later on in this literally a tongue twister sushi and sushi and sashimi it makes me want to say say it fast three times sushi and shishimi i can't sushi sushi and sashimi sauce yeah no soy sauce soy sauce sushi and evening vlog we did an evening vlog the other day oh thank you very much and it was fun evenings in quarantine have been one of my favorite times and we thought this evening we would bring you guys in let you into our world a little bit let you hang out with us so get comfortable let's have a lovely time did you mention our new discovery well that's gonna be that what made you think of it okay because this is this is kind of like a late lunch early dinner for us i guess very late because we're kind of like intermittent fasting i guess you call it yeah and we eat between certain hours of the day so our breakfast is a bit later then our lunch is like kind of this then we kind of have a dinner good and they're korean as well right so the other night we no no no no i didn't let me tell them the surprise okay all right you don't want to miss this because this is like our favorite new thing we've got to build it up a bit all right cool yeah go do the whole youtube suspension so we'll see you after this ad break okay now that we have finished this food it is time to go and buy some more food who can relate to that that's very relatable i feel so basically we saw this place there's our ring light why don't we use the ring light that we spent money on so as you guys know if you watch the videos lucy and i tend to be quite healthy most of the time but every now and then maybe once a week once every i know week and a half or something we do like to have a few little treats like nice food is nice there's no denying that you mentioned that we had krispy kremes the other day you may have seen we do have a 7-eleven very near to us here and we do like to go and pick up a magnum every now and then sometimes we vlog it sometimes we don't i hope it doesn't look like we're always eating unhealthily because we only vlog like the unhealthy stuff it could couldn't that so basically we were on one of these evening food hunts we've gone for this really long walk around bgc some roads we've never even been on before we came across this shop we were walking past this store and we were like we've never been in there what is this place shall we go in and it was late and they were nearly closing and we started getting hungry so we're like okay let's see if they got any nice food we thought it was just like a mini stock or a 7-eleven but we went in and we realized i will show you we'll show you when we get there we were like what it is we gotta do the suspense expense also look what i did i got sushi and shasim sashimi soy sauce on my shirt that's not what you want is it sushi and sushi and sashimi soy sauce on my shirt oh [ __ ] hold on pick a color red another color other than red green okay so close the door because otherwise you'll be on film changing okay so we went and we were like this is cool there's so many different things here so many unusual things so many things that we don't recognize normally and we picked up a few bits we were like we need to come back here properly when we're having a proper netflix and chill session proper snack night um evening vibes so that's what's happening we'll take you guys down there my green top is in the laundry so okay it's a pink green tonight lovely i have here a 1 000 peso note and that's actually quite a lot of money actually that's a lot of money for getting snacks let me see i was gonna do like a thousand pesos that's too much for snacks surely just gonna wear sliders guys because we're not gonna be out for long is that okay i feel like it's acceptable in 2020 i feel like so many people socks and sliders i think we're good comment below so it is raining a tiny bit but it's not too bad that was an awful storm here actually it wasn't awful i love it so you know we'd have a song it was here yesterday and i'll put except in here it was the most insane lightning i've ever seen and it was constant these this footage isn't even slowed down it's just absolutely insane okay here we are this is a korean convenience store and we're excited to show you guys it's insane this is the best shop in the world well it's open till 10 as well it's so cool thank you hello so honestly there is so oh i'm going the wrong way so many different things we've got like ice creams just here and here you've got every kind of noodle you could ever wish for uh where's these thingies these are insane they're like little gummy sweet things which are amazing okay and there's just so many different things and i just love it we've got some like popcorn it's also colorful where's wally i used to love these books and we've got loads of crisps little seaweed crunch things these look good oh and we got these the other night these are wait was it these these that was it wasn't it these are the most insane flavor of doritos straight in my basket weren't they so good it's like bbq chicken flavor delicious delish the only thing in here is that nothing has prices on at all you have to hope that it's cheap exactly and that's like um even like products and stuff this is all like it's all like korean stuff it's all imported look how cool this is little glasses oh nice oh we need shot glasses so if it look at that see this is the thing we don't want to be too like unhealthy i haven't had cereal in so long chocolate waffles but this is what confuses me so this is like i thought this i think that's american isn't it i thought it was a philippines brand but i don't know maybe there's something here i mean this stuff definitely it's korean they've got all these little biscuits and cakes oh the jam jam fillings these chocolate chocolate chip ridiculous the owners here probably like have these guys never been in a supermarket before why they're so excited but it's all i think when you see different stuff you get excited about it what's the potato mask potato face mask korean products are so good on your skin so although it's a potato face marker it's good and i think because we've missed traveling so much recently when we find something new something different we get over excited maybe more excited than we should be but i don't know when we came in here the other day we were like walking around like wow yeah we've come to korea today so here's more like the stuff for sushi as well i'd love to be able to make sushi maybe we should attempt it one day i don't know how hard it is they also have like loads of vegetables but i mean this is probably local stuff i imagine but they do have frozen meats and things over there which is all korean as well so if the fridges are a little bit noisy so are we gonna get our baskets empty we can't just get doritos this is the uh mall we went to in korea it's like a big brand i think it's like the equivalent of like fm here maybe yeah you can get all the sauces and the oils this is where the gyozas came from from tonight's dinner can you remember which ones they were no obviously we can't really read most of this stuff so you just have to guess but most of it looks delicious yeah i'm 100 getting an ice cream because the other day i saw these ones these this is what i want like a chocolate fish i've seen it before chocolate syrup with a fish and i also want to try we're getting these now afterwards um at the end at the end because otherwise it will melt oh yeah what's that it's like water ice cream water ice cream what are you talking about oh yeah just frozen water healthy healthy ice cream [Music] loose if it's netflix night the biggest bag of popcorn we should get that what is it though excuse me um do you know the flavor of this [Music] sweet yeah that's good enough and you know the price 210. thank you 210 in the basket what is it it's popcorn it's sweet flavor really good enough for me because we don't want to be too unhealthy i'm going to say in this section of sweet stuff we can pick one thing each one thing each we've already got three things oh yeah we're going to get our [ __ ] ice cream ice cream doesn't count in this section okay truth wisely george that's all i can say to you [Music] this is my choice nice i don't i can't read it but i think it's peppermint and chocolate like a peppermint cream i love mint flavoured stuff that looks so good go on with yours then okay we're going to go for the dessert waffles how do i get it it's like jenga this is this is properly packed yeah these look amazing so you know you always make a mess when you're eating yeah i found something for you that we can put your food in oh my god it's not that bad that's why i got the trays i'm definitely getting one of these because these look insane [Music] [Music] okay i think we actually went a little bit overboard with this one each one two three four five six seven i don't have to eat it all tonight we are not we did go for the big popcorn guys we can just try this doritos chicken flavor delicious we think these are like mint creams the dessert waffles we've got some sweet potatoes with roasted coconut chips which sounds good and two ice creams which i'm actually gonna put the freezer because they feel a bit oh yeah warm because we have to walk back here so i'm going to try one of these peppermint things but like george said we're not eating all tonight i don't think we even need to eat the doritos now on camera because we know what they taste like are they little individual they're so soft they're in individual packets and then guys we are going to reveal to you what we've been watching on netflix actually we already mentioned it what is this this isn't oh this is not what i call it hello open it up it's i can't it's like jelly what oh i'm kind of committed now imagine that in your mouth is it really chewy like you're never going to be able to chew that it's going to take half an hour oh really okay i don't know why there's a mint leaf on it was there a mint leaf or was it your brain telling it this looks way more minty unless it's like four years out of date and it's gone like that nope we're good until 2028 oh no way the date's backwards we're good until october okay try the popcorn because all the lady in the shop could tell me is that it was sweet flavor but she who doesn't speak korean she was filipina right i know yeah i that's why i was like that's good enough for me is it savory or is it sweet yeah but maybe we'll be able to it's not like prawn to be fair it's it's only going to be like sugar if that's good we can have a little bowl of these and i'll get i'll get netflix sorted in a minute fail that's really unsatisfying how you open that it's okay hmm that's weird it doesn't it's not it's not that's not popcorn is it it's like hand it's like it's like i think it's cereal george it's oh no we didn't buy cereal did we but can you sit and eat a movie with that oh yeah really yeah it's good it tastes like soft golden nuggets would it be good with milk in a bowl it's very good maybe it is cereal maybe that's just how they package up cereal in korea we don't know okay we bought cereal fair enough um what else i'll try one more thing is that waffles yeah we need to open these guys up but i've noticed that the packaging is quite big for all this but you get like nothing inside it's all quite like small amounts you get four okay all right cool that's probably good you meant to open it like that oh you're so unsatisfying with your have you seen them videos online that is like the most unsatisfying thing in the world that's one of them oh okay these look blooming good they look like oreos let's do lady in the trunk all right oh my god it's like a white chocolate oreo crunchy sweet but not too sweet it's lodged in my throat oh i didn't buy that properly the cream what is that sugar on top vanilla chocolate cheese biscuit vanilla oh delicious so good so guys we have been racing through i know you like to hear what we're watching on netflix we also like to hear what you guys are watching on netflix cereal thank you i mean thank you for all your comments recently giving us recommendations we appreciate it because lucy and i seem to crack through netflix series quicker than you can say the words daily juice and recently that has been no different we've been watching a series called below deck i think we mentioned it in another vlog and it follows a load of what are called yachties around people who work on these like super yachts for the rich and famous i said it all again i'm repeating myself it's recycled content yeah we got accused of that once it wasn't true it wasn't true yeah i want the ice creams now so we're going to catch some a few more episodes of that guys and just have a chill evening but do let us know what you're watching because we do appreciate the recommendations we're kind of better i think quarantine has set this up for us a little bit better at taking like acknowledging the weekends a little bit because with what we do we're not like finishing on a friday and then we've got two days off we kind of either just go go all the time or we have like a more chill day in the week or whenever it suits us but i think with quarantine we've learned to switch off a little bit at a certain time and have a little bit more self-care a little bit more netflix time basically together oh wow that looks so good i got red bean flavor i didn't feel like chocolate i don't know what red bean is try it oh well oh that looks so cool isn't it i feel like this could be a good life focus photo yeah it probably will be that's huge as well hold it up to your face that is bigger than your face nearly okay i'll start we'll take a big bite of fish it's kind of weird maybe it's fish flavor oh wow that looks insane is it good i can't chew it is it like wafer let's see inside freezing really good but i can't chew it it's too cold wow it's not that sweet which is perfect for me tastes like fish yeah so slightly off topic i made a little soup earlier like a vegetable like butternut squash onion garlic a bit of paprika carrots and some stock cubes and i'm gonna blitz it up now so it's nice and smooth [Music] and here we have it doesn't look very nice is it but it's gonna taste delicious it's like a nice traditional english butternut squash soup which we'll enjoy tomorrow probably for lunch but on that note i think we're going to end off today's video here i feel kind of tired probably from the amount of ice cream and chocolate just ate maybe we shouldn't have eaten that much maybe we should have saved a bit more we saved most of it we just had a little
