PREPPING FOR HURRICANE FLORENCE! | DO WE EVACUATE?!

I [Music] [Music] remember you what's up guys how's it going hope you're doing well today so we have some crazy stuff going on this hurricane Florence if you haven't seen the news about it it's not currently maybe when you're watching this but it's supposed to be a category 4 hurricane that even said there's a possibility it could become a 5 they haven't ruled that out yet and it's heading right for North Carolina we've had some pretty bad hurricanes in the past hurricane Fran Hurricane Floyd they all sing the song with F just saying um this one looks like it's heading right for us and we could be without power for sometime whenever I was younger hurricane Fran came through we were out with that power for like a week and a half I think and this area we're in that's not like right in the heart of the city they said they were left that power flike two weeks during that time so like the bigger cities get the priority so we'll see so with that said we have some been doing some prepping and today we're going to go out and do some shopping to do some more prepping but what we have right now is a bunch of water so we've got cases of water lots um some gallon jugs of water we'll probably get some more of the gallon jugs whoa just to be safe because last time we had a big swim we lost water too and then we had a boil advisory so anyways this is potential that this storms gonna be really crazy and could be devastating for parts of our area so we're gonna be prepared we're gonna make sure that we have all the stuff we need so today we're gonna go do some shopping to make sure we get some more things and yeah and don't mind our messy kitchen we had more likes last night it was great the live stuff has just been great it's just been lies after lies after lies we had it again like a week ago and we had just randomly started checking Tyler last night and found some lice eggs on her head and she had a ton of like little baby lights to like obviously had just hatched not long ago so luckily we caught it kind of early I don't know we just tell them they can't play with their friends anymore but that's just that's it you can't go to school and get baby the prints sorry just give so our house is a little messy but uh what are you gonna do anyways we had to get Judy out the door to go to school and then we have Adeline and Everly with us today and hopefully we'll have a little fun while we're out are you ready to go no you're not yeah what are you all jacked up on you'll have your shoes on get them on go oh you got your dress on give me them and go ah all right let's go [Music] I was reading a hurricane prep thing a lot of it was about because of where we are it said that you should clean everything before the hurricane comes because you don't be stuck without power with dirty laundry dirty dishes things that most smell especially the AC goes out but basically I'm catching up a laundry which is good but we do need to do this dishes and we need to like they're evacuate it is smartly I just think about trying to find like these in the dark already ya know if I get it bathroom in our bedroom and like is everything's a message we have that bar stool upstairs since we using it to put the feet on on this one - that thing like multiple times even whenever I wasn't sleeping top of the stairs so that you will remember to carry it down the stairs oh is that what is their privacy you just had it there I push it down you see that's that would help you get it downstairs for John isn't funny it's okay you guys like please leave a comment and let me know if your significant other is the same legit he would leave her work sometimes or like what he used to work at the church but he'd leave really early in the morning like 5:00 5:30 like but there's something he had to take to give to somebody or whatever like take this back to the church or they need this I would have literally hang it on the door or like put boxes a box or something like smack in front of the door and he wouldn't move it out of the way to leave and I'm like or you can to get out instead of just carrying it to the car but sometimes it was just you are just like that you will literally step over something that you're supposed to take care move it's just late I know however I know you're not the only one that's like oh I know yeah I like step over things on the steps like chill put something on the steps so that I'll take it upstairs and I like step over it like I'll skip the whole step to get by anyways on purpose it's not like he does because he doesn't want to take it upstairs you just My Mind's on whatever I'm doing so like that's where I'm going so don't distract me from it because then that's how can I use that alright well let's get these kids to school I get this one kid to school and then we'll take you long on this little shopping journey that I honestly have no idea what we're getting so our Walmart and our grocery stores are sold out of water there's a lot of bread give her her buy one get one good thing about the celiac disease is that you can find good bread yeah no one's buying that um but I'm wondering like okay if Walmart sold out of those like will Costco or BJ's or Sam's library like Willie Willie wholesale bulk store also below on the stuff I'm about to find out so we're actually pulling up to BJ's we're gonna check Vijay's out for a gluten-free stuff but it's crazy like everyone that's walking out of here is walking out with like tons of cases of bottled water so I'm starting to feel a little bit like I didn't get enough what's going on with that baby you didn't if we're out of water for two weeks did you did not get well hopefully won't be out that long I guess we should be prepared - we're still cheaper we normally buy the Frechette I gluten-free pizza at Food Lion and it's like 10 bucks per pizza its 1650 here for two pizzas so that's a good deal but how much gluten free stuff did they really have that's we're about to find out I'm trying because we don't have a membership so I'm trying to decide between here in Costco so I want to really quickly go through and see John's like slow yeah like I'm going to trying it really fast if they have enough sense or that we should just go it's good free and I see yeah is it better to be you you haven't even gone to the snack aisle I imagine they'll have stuff yeah I guess I'll take her quickly you said well alright so we got the membership and now we are gonna get some stuff the lines are like so long it's crazy so we have to do this quick so we can make sure where we get get out and get back to the school and time to pick up Judy what are you doing on there Little John you did a good job your neck into the that's enough you're good come on I get to juice good job she's full of juice and so I told her clean up and she get with the white thank you you seen all this stuff all the waters gone over here luckily we already got some let's go guys I saw people grabbing wine asking Jesus praying over it hoping he would turn it back to the water it's crazy around here you ate some mouthwash you don't want mouthwash this was a good trip and we are now a little more prepared for this hurricane well that's what being prepared having some food to eat I mean a lot of it will probably anyways we're dis much more prepared so you see pretty much so we're now like trying to decide if we're gonna should we stay or should good yeah anyways on a serious note look we're not even gonna be able to go defensively now because we can't get guys gas stations are sold out of gas yeah some gas stations are sold out of gas around here waters gone generators were gone it's looking like it's gonna be pretty bad definitely lose power and water is the real question I don't really want to pack up and go to my parents house if it's only gonna be like two or three days two days yeah three days man probably I'm worth it but like if the girls are gonna be off school like into next week yeah I don't want to stay here without water or power and five kids it could be weeks without power here so we just gonna have to talk about it I think tomorrow will actually make the real decision well they may all make the decision tonight shape our tomorrow um because we'll have to leave I'm not leaving home Thursday when the hurricane they're saying it's gonna hit the morning now so like we would have to leave on Wednesday yeah just means we have to pack tomorrow we don't have time for this we'll keep you guys posted and maybe follow us on Instagram because we might be posting stuff there for having a few travel and drive I'll let you know all right good night it's late we're going to bed see you [Music] remember
