Cooking the ULTIMATE BRITISH Breakfast in MANILA! (We Were SURPRISED!)

[Music] hey guys welcome back to another juicy blog I'm not gonna lie and tell you it's the morning it's really not the morning but the title of this video you probably think it is but woke up a lil bit late today and George and I fancy something for a little bit of a late breakfast brunch thing it's something that we think about quite often it's something that we've had a lot of in the past you've seen the Tyler this video you know what it is we are gonna attempt to make the ultimate full English breakfast here in Manila here and BGC in the Philippines we have some ingredients in the fridge that we can use we have some that we need to purchase we're gonna head out to restaurants in a second and have a little look try and find source these ingredients and hopefully make the they're classically eaten maybe with a hangover I feel like they're quite perfect for hangovers you can get them in pubs you can get them in restaurants you can get them in cafes you can make them at home you see them all over the country and there's a few mean they differ depending on where you get them from but there's a few like staple ingredient you can get like fancier versions you can get like the cheaper versions and today we're just gonna see what you can do with the ingredients we have here remember like if you've ever eaten a full English breakfast I'd be interested to know that but we're gonna head to the shops now find some ingredients and then get cooking that's right guys it is a chilled weekend vlog today I hope you're having a lovely lovely weekend we are about to head out to the store buy some ingredients I hope we can find what we're looking for Lucy's already explained what we need to find what we often can't find but I'm confident it's gonna work out pretty well love in this background behind me by the way that's something I've always wanted a cool background for YouTube videos mmm nice guys I just really quickly wanted to hop in here before this video properly gets going and say thank you so much because we hit on the juicy vlog our main YouTube channel this channel 50 million views which I don't know how to comprehend that in my head like how many no that's not fifty million people but fifty million times our videos were viewed mad that actually we could find how many YouTube now gives us unique users which is how many actual people it's it's Millions there's still millions and millions of people it's just absolutely unbelievable so thank you so much if you've supported us from yesterday if you found our channel from this video today clan our Channel six years ago found out video one years ago we appreciate every single one of you so so much for watching for coming back every day whatever we're do now that we do so much different stuff we've had vlogs in our department in the UK just our life going around with our family we've had daily travel adventures across Southeast Asia we've had incredible trips in the Philippines when we started falling in love with this country moving in here in our pomp we've had quarantine vlogs in this one apartment for like 80 vlogs in a row just waking up and doing whatever and filming it all for this YouTube channel documenting our life documenting every step of the way asking you guys the most ridiculous questions and you've got the answers asking you for travel suggestions asking you for how to clean my hat and you tell me how to where I can buy a new chain you guys tell me that like this community this life that we have we're with loggers and we have this community I need you we don't take it for granted like it is such an amazing thing such a special thing to us we love it so so much and I don't mean this to rambly and badly and an Adonis section of the vlog to God forever it is just a thank you to you guys but honestly we're not just it's not just like a job we're not just like making videos and putting them out every day just for it's never never at all for us we love it so much so a huge thank you to you guys so we're gonna head out now I'm thinking it's hot and I might take this off right and I like wearing a cozy jumper indoors but it's like midday now and I think it's gonna be way too hot to wait outside Rustin is probably in a queue in a jumper so I'm gonna take this off and then are you ready to go yeah oh yeah we had a little smoothie this morning and because we knew we had to go looking at my jumper we knew we had to go to the shops first and I thought would have a little smoothie a banana and strawberry smoothie miss Mallon milk but yeah let's get you ready oh yeah pretty good result cannon here this morning thank you you wouldn't have let loose in I like sourdough toast but traditionally we wouldn't have salad I would you you'd have like that the white just plain white bread we're gonna try and choose something yeah yeah anything like this yeah go for that guys we have just found hashbrowns which is the ultimate breakfast so we don't have an oven but we can fry them we have to do it that's that's English breakfast all over yes we'll have to deep fry them yeah like three or four minutes Oh Luce I'm incredibly happy that we're doing this okay so there's one controversial thing with this whole thing that's what I mean I there's one item in an English breakfast which I am NOT a fan of but it is like a staple for an English breakfast and those baked beans now we won't talk we'd be able to find the MIT Heinz is the brand that everyone uses and we have found these except this is the lobby please complain and I feel like plains beans over there and I don't know if any are gonna cut it really the funny thing is over my over just here yeah here there is a wait row section of this supermarket which is like an English thing I'm guessing okay we recommend might have to find them in the wait row section [Music] oh you pay for this would be more legit than these that's exactly what we need brown sauce is also an English breakfast staple but we're actually not huge fans of it yeah you're either tomato ketchup or a brown sauce person we are back from the shop really good experience actually no queues today straight and straight out everything that we needed we managed to get I'm now on coffee duty because no English breakfast is complete without a cup of coffee Oh true yeah I wouldn't get to eat no I don't like drinking I need coffee [Music] how's the coffee waffle Jake it's really good so we have a lot of ingredients to cook here we I'm gonna help I'm gonna help this time although we are slightly limited because we only have if you know - sorry not two of those we only have two rings to cook things on yeah we don't have an oven we have a microwave we do we can do the breakage in the microwave basically there's seven ingredients usually you need like a pan for each thing when a huge English breakfast so you need loads of stove tops but we have to the thing with an English breakfast is quite unusual like I know done there's cooking videos and stuff where it's like a whole recipe you guys this it is to make this literally you just cook each individual ingredient it's actually really simple the thing is that's hard about it is the timing making sure everything's done at a similar time so that is all hot and making sure you cook each ingredient properly but even like the sausages you cook on their own the bacon on their own the rate being but you don't add things it's not complex it's always easy and also making sure that the people who you're making the food for aren't getting too hungry while they're waiting if I had tomato that's happening right now you're cooking today at me so I'm hungry I'll do the taste you do that I hate you sure you do that I went and we went to the shop I was like do you sell toast and they said no so here are some sausages they're called breakfast links which sounds I guess like the perfect breakfast sausage however they don't look like the British ones today I don't know what it is a lot lighter very light these little frankfurter II may be crisp up I don't know yeah so that's the sausages we've got which what some bacon just here in the UK normally you have back bacon with a breakfast this is like not back bacon it's like streaky I think more Americans very thin yeah so we're doing our best with what we've got we've got some hashbrowns these look identical to what you get and I'm very excited about these after you do though you do hashbrowns with McDonald's breakfast in the Philippines because that is the ultimate in the UK the McDonald's hash brown is the Holy Grail then we've got some toast and baked beans and tomato paste and egg no that's not toast that's what I asked for that they only had bread they didn't have toast so we're gonna start with some sausage and bacon in the same pan again we're very limited on space there so we're gonna try and get everything going just in these two pounds we'll let you guys enjoy a little time lapse of us doing that and then we'll catch up with you when it gets a little bit when things get sizzling when things get smelling good where things get cooking that is another thing like we said in the efficient chips video the smell of this food is what gets you up in the morning especially guys if I'll be honest with you this is hangover food did you say this this is I mean we're not hungover now but especially when you're like a teenager or a kid if you've been out on the town the night before and you wake up and your mum or dad are making a full English breakfast you smell the bacon right rising right up to your childhood bedroom that is something in that you can't beat that so let's try and recreate that right now [Music] [Music] all right everything is sizzling away as you can hear nicely there's the desired sound delicious the hash browns are just all the smells coming through this also reminds me of camping wherever we're never to go camping in the UK as a family every morning Lucy is often a head chef with my mom or your mom they're getting full English breakfast on the go oh nice they're huge yeah just whack them in they're frozen but we can pan fry them this is really really feeling like a sundae isn't it this is a nice little time they've got some music on the way there's a little bit cloudy so we might be have to have a chilled all over thank you yeah I don't like beans and I don't like tomato so my breakfast isn't have been more dry than Lucy's delicious right eighties over [Music] all right breakfast time at last I'm excited for their so we got sausage mushroom hash brown egg toast with butter bacon Lucy's also got baked beans and tomatoes and tomatoes we have officially created a full English breakfast in Manila in the Philippines so I have a quick test the baked beans good they are M&S oh my god hash browns are like my favorite thing my guilty pleasure they were trapped in the bacon fat so they taste unbelievable Wow Wow Wow the thing with the same dish you have so many angry seven ingredients from my plate so it lets the drawers put seven ingredients so each mouthful has different amounts of different things and you get all these different combinations the other thing is as you can see it's a lot of actual quantity of food so you often don't need lunch after a meal like this and you often do have a late and day like brunch I want to show you this egg can you see this alright guys that was delicious I think mission accomplished Chris Palmer thanks for watching this video gonna leave it
