British Couple Try FILIPINO BREAKFAST For The First Time In BORACAY!

[Music] good morning guys this morning we've just woken up at Hotel and boracay our breakfast is that ready the cameras so steamy this morning another day in the amazing Boracay we're meeting and making it happen guys again later on and we have gone for a very very traditional Filipino breakfast this morning so we're going to try it for the first time we haven't had this before good morning reading reading comments from these guys right yesterday we had excavated from there we were looking on the menu last night as if to audio breakfast the night before hair and we said okay what's the most traditional breakfast in Philippines this one already and they said this one taps along and then we said bread we'll have one of everything what is your second most traditional and they said this one which hopefully you know neither Topsail log and I think this is this is this is beef and that's pork that looks really good that looks like that looks nice and tasty looks sweet oh I don't know what this watery sources can you guys let me know what I is I'm not sure at all vinegar the breakfast really okay I'm excited for this and also a little bit in the dark hence if it is quite dark isn't it and that's bright okay so I've got the taps log I'm gonna give it a sniff test first Oh your beard like went in it there nothing what no it's not okay do that there you go smells oh that's nice it smells like stewed so in England we have something called stew which is like the chunks in like tomorrow is it tomato Eve sauce they're like great like a gravy kind of sauce which you have with vegetables yeah all that custard this smells a bit like that the rice I'm guessing is just normal rice I don't buy still don't know what this liquid is don't really know it smells like watermelon um I have no idea please let me know what is in this little pot of liquid and where I'm supposed to do it am I supposed to like pour that on the egg I should imagine it's on that with right my suppose you think it's poorer it's a little bit on the rice I'm gonna wait because what will happen is all you guys will comment and say why did you pull out on the rice so I'm not gonna do that okay let's try and they're gonna comment why didn't you pull that on the right yeah so I know okay I know what egg taste is like and I know what's rice tastes like so I'm gonna go straight in okay so also I want to know is the whole breakfast called taps log or is it just the softness called taps log that's what I want to know I'm gonna go straight in with this okay you know what a rice comment come on through everything with rice in the Philippines anybody not the [ __ ] oh yeah not being very brave there I'm I'm just taking a small bit okay nice bit of rice nice bear beef is it called to me Omar Wow I did not expect it to taste like that like this beef it's almost like sweet it's got a lot of flavor that isn't just trunks of beef that there's something else going on there that is really nice it's sweet we've got the orange juice this morning because we're going to add for a coffee in a bit and all the oils juicing about it is super sweet as well so but with rice it's quite salty again so you need their ice with rice that's really good before we start eating I'm just going to talk you saying that happened last night I had a mosquito eat my face oh no two three and they are so itchy really red hate mosquitoes so much so annoying anyway let's try that this looks what meat is that colored I've had before almost like a Chinese style now looks like Stegeman looks like tikka masala from Indian yeah similar color it's a bit against China they're always really like so to me I thought it'd be quite tough and this is pork right sweet pork I think I think both of them asleep but we've heard that Filipinos love like sweet food that's what all the confidence that's got milk and sugar syrup in preach a fruit shakes full of that kind of stuff and then even things like enjoining the other spaghetti and stop sweetener because they use banana ketchup and salt Master Depa did you know that ah good [ __ ] not that's not good it really sounds like so oh here we go again I always do this I'm like that's not me but I never say we're actually smells I can't remember oh it's really annoying and how is my meat to rice ratio by the way guys because I feel that is a bit more rice than meat on its plate so then it's the right how sweet is it very for me but it's really good the meat looking at it it's got like some fun software you can see and it looks like it would kind of be a bit to eat a bit to it but it just kind of like it doesn't fall apart but it's like soft so this kind of breaks away again really sweet it takes three nights a little bit barbecued white in it I don't think it is barbecue but it takes a bit like that and again I definitely need the rice with it but it pairs really nicely and then I don't know you meant to have like eggs with it this one at the same time or do you eat the egg get the right that pretty or is it like it all three combined all talking binders I don't pick me thing sorry guys it is so much easy doing lose that spoon every time I have to do that I can't knew the spoon will be elsewhere okay I want you to try this because well I don't know what it is is it just cabbage neither of us have tried it yet get it in your mouth it's not mango smells very vinegary smells that's going to be quite sour now I think you might have it with that there's a bit more sour and you've got the sweet and the sour I really don't like that okay so final question for you are you gonna try this we're not neither of us are brave enough to try that I think it's I think it's gonna go this pink I think it's the same glass let me pour a little bit on the tissue young right oh it's clear this is that this normal vinegar it kind of smells like Nirvana to River in the UK you would never have vinegar with breakfast so that's so different for us and I think as it's on your plate the clearly goes with your dinner no I'm right I like I like it it out I actually like it laughs we're gonna enjoy the rest of our breakfast now I hope you enjoyed our opinions on it but we're gonna go and see off new friends Nelly and once again today from me making a happy blog and we've got a really fun day haven't we because we've seen to lots of new friends with made every day is a fun day in my part we're gonna go see Victoria and Gracie we met they're actually from an area close to where we live in the UK and we met them on the ferry over here for a coffee this morning and then later on we're seeing Elliot like I'm going to check out a really nice Beach you guys really eventually visit so we're excited but I think we need to fuel up first it's
