Our British Family In The Philippines! (HUGE Change Of Plans)

good morning guys welcome back to another daily juice welcome back to our apartment here in Manila that's Manila Jaime but we start at this nice bright window at the moment by actually a little bit too bright so that makes my eyes squint a little bit but anyway if you're wondering why I'm dressed up today it's not really friendly reason I bought this dress one day before lockdown when our friends kind of a monkey were here in Manila we went to the mall with them and we were showing him around I bought this dress in the sales and I really like it but I have another chance to wear it yet so I woke up today and I was like you know what it's been 69 days since I bought this dress I'm gonna put it on I'm gonna wear it I took some photos for Instagram which I'll pop here my cobbler tick-tock on it and I'm coming up lugging it so everyone is seeing this dress even though I haven't had a chance to properly wear it yet so that's why I dressed up today for no reason at all I recommend anything rising it doesn't make you feel quite good it's quite a change for my usual outfits that we're wearing at the moment but anyway work station this morning George edited the vlog I'm just watching it back I making a thumbnail there seems to be a lot of gear out today drinking my little ginger tea filming the GoPro for a video I'm going to go out for a video that we're gonna do a bit later on as well today but I'll tell you more about that later but if you're wondering what the title of this video is all about let me tell you so today is a weird day because George you're George Mikan Emily Emily is food his sister and my except boy when you probably know them from the vlogs already they had a trip back to Asia they'd have spent the last three weeks going around Thailand in Vietnam and then they were on their way to the Philippines yeah and they would have been here today by this point they would have been here with us somewhere in the Philippines we would have been traveling we've been going somewhere around the Philippines for two weeks with those guys so that should be now yeah we had plans to go to like shark out to El Nido we have these different islands we were going to take them to and show them around and we've made a little bit of a rough plan as well and sadly it's not happening obvious reasons they have to cancel all their flights actually I think they'd only booked one flight out yet they hadn't we had any books any internal flights we were about to which is actually kind of lucky yeah nearly a book some flights as we said we need to do a little bit advance to get better prices we didn't because we've travelled the Philippines a lot we kind of said look guys tell us roughly what you want to see like the beach from our vlogs if you sleep watching what do you like the look of in the Philippines give us a rough idea we'll plan you a whole two-week trip don't even worry about it yeah we had it all planned but luckily we didn't book anything but it's a bit it's a bittersweet thing because we know we all know what we have to do we know why they're not coming we know why that's a good thing really and there's talk of maybe next January which will actually probably be a better time because in my January might be okay we were still traveling in January January is quite a good times it's not too hot they were here it was gonna be quite stormy and hot actually they would have had the typhoon mm-hmm so maybe maybe we definitely want to bring my parents also thinking of coming out this year that's not gonna happen we also we really want to bring as much as our family at some point yeah as we can to the Philippines and show them why we enjoy this country so much why we love this country so much why we choose to spend our time here but that's not gonna be sadly I think we will try and face time and we might later min put in the blog yeah so it's kind of like a mini micro in the Philippines even or not speaking of Philippines something on my Twitter this morning popped up it's Boris Johnson wearing which is a UK prime minister yeah means t-shirt how cool is that which we I thought funny others say Thank You Prime Minister United Kingdom yeah has he been here that you've been on holiday and well maybe it's friend into research that maybe on board it for him right cool anyway so for today's lunch we have some green beans and broccoli and some onions with some sweet potato and a lovely bit of pork chop that's cooked in a nice like Dijon mustard so it should be nice and crispy and tasty [Music] they're normally this long I recognize that your eyes have an n-bit sir we're sort of all back from yesterday the Rogues not ending yet don't worry if you had that music authorities anything is from another video now guys if there's one weakness that I have you've already seen those Lisa giving it away it's Magnum ice cream and if you haven't tried this flavor you are missing out because this is insanely pitties out the other day well no actually what happened was we did a game tonight if you saw in yesterday's video you decide we get a few snacks and George sneekly bought a couple of magnums watch them in the freezer and now a samar if you don't know that kind of thing we can enjoy them last what do want to watch now okay okay I've just gotten changed because George and I have kind of been shaming outfit because I'm heading outside and that dress is kind of hot and I don't really want to go for a walk Annette so I put some slightly come for your clothes on and I've got my little bum bag on my back George why because relaxing exercise once per day now and within them different time zones the morning in the evening slot it's now the evening it's now quarter to fire so I'm allowed out until 6:00 and we're kind of taking one day at a time each so I'll go for a walk today George will go tomorrow I did run but it turns out my mask was extremely hard to breathe in and I had loads of comments in the blog saying do be careful running in that mask it's not actually good for your lungs and it can be kind of dangerous so not doing that anymore I'm just going to go for a nice walk stretch my legs get some fresh air and just enjoy being outside a little bit and obviously stay as far away from people as I can but we thought we would film a little video that's probably in the government after this or maybe it's already on because loads if you really enjoyed seeing BGC in quarantine we thought it'd be a good idea to do a kind of POV style thing using your GoPro I do a little bit of talking I'll just uh kind of show you the whole situation but in a bit more detail and just kind of show you the whole walk just so you can really see what it's like on the streets right now where we are and we put me kind of interesting that's what I'm gonna go and do now I exercise and film a little bit as I go and their daughters gonna stay here he's gonna do some washing up which is very exciting that's right guys you heard her right chores this guy doin chores first mission for these clothes away [Music] okay Lucy just walked back in through the door while she's gone for shower I'm gonna ask her for her reaction on my cleaning the see if she thinks it's up to scratch fair play George you've done a very good job it's very nice and clean in here one thing I'd say yeah a couple of candles maybe shall we yeah okay all singing tonight HS it's stressing me out every time you do it nice did I just freak anyone out comment below if you got fooled by my trickery okay we've also decided recently to move this lamp from the bedroom to here quite like it but we start and we now need to buy another lamp for the bedroom but my favorite time of the day is here dinner time has arrived it is 7:30 our dinner times are so erratic so will over play some of the up they don't like 9:00 p.m. even as late as 10 p.m. sometimes that's quite rare so but we never really have it earlier than 7:00 would you say but today Lucy I look so good Lucy has made us they're like these are veggie right vegetable and cheese wraps or delicious vegetable sesame dressing got some barbecue sauce in there as well the smell I'm going to first camera down because the smell is incredible no alcohol tonight guys without games that last night had some beers have some midweek beers which we said we wouldn't do but go and live your life you know we're gonna per movie on give you our full juicy overview if we manage to finish it you might finish it off in bed we know that you guys love it when Lucy shares her recipes for things like this and the breakfast and smoothie bowls and the porridge and all that kind of stuff but if you guys have anything you want to send us like recipes and easy food I know food hacks what Lucy does around life so feel free to send them over on Instagram because not that I do much cooking myself it's very loud although I do much cooking myself I know that's true but no no I'm not bored of your cooking I'm just saying these guys what all these guys like have some cool recipes and stuff if you want to send them in to send them on Instagram look at this evening view I'm gonna weather check for a while I'll try and do that yeah we have none any rain or storm as well but I'll try and do a little weather check in tomorrow's vlog so just like dinner the film is all ready to watch Lucy said she's got a surprise for me tonight when we go to bed we are putting on tomorrow onto our faces tonight tomorrow yeah come on right so I've got here this sleeping mask concentrated overnight mask for a nourished and luminous white glow just FYI even whiter I never do anything like this do I like my face mask or like no but you do face the one day I'm with dreads every day tell me the lighting no the one time I did a face mask my face burn when really you leave this on at night down here I'm doing if it is 98 percent smarter I don't like tomorrow me but and it's red so if it's not dry yet don't put your head on a pillow because we've got white sheet no Sonia Watson if I found this is a tomato glass skin I'm not too sure what to expect it's made in Korea and I've got quite another Korean face products and they seem to be really good it's really good for like nourishing your skin and giving you have a glow apply generous amount once your face after cleansing I've done that massage gently and Leman overnight with my maximum absorption rinse off thoroughly in the morning use once or twice a week so let's have a look I'm expecting it to be red oh it's not red [Music] does not smell of Tomas who's he that but would it be bright red and I thought it was very smart eh oh you can't really see anything here I'll have to report back in tomorrow and that you know how it went oh it's so nice so soft it's almost a bit oily smells really nice I don't know how this 98% smarter when it smells so good and it doesn't look red okay my skin is extremely shiny now I think we did it right I just rubbed it in and then I'll catch up you guys in tomorrow's video an update to tell you how my skin is feeling you're probably wondering my George went in that clip George would you care to tell the audience where I decided last minute I'm bailing out of this travel challenge because the reason being is bright enough the reason being that the reason being that I want it I'd last time I did something on my face like this it burned and it went red and he looked patchy and I didn't want to be on camera so I I don't want to sacrifice my face I would much rather Lucy experiment on her face because there's a brand new product we haven't used it before obviously guys we will update you in tomorrow's vlog with her when if Lucy were you something looking like like a tomato I guess it was good yeah but thanks watching sale again is booked here we're gonna watch a movie I think and get an early night which is cool 9:30 that is what we
