Don't bite the fingers.
No finger biting.
Watch your fingers.
Here we go.
Bit slower than this morning I know.
Pineapple's out.
Yeah, good morning little ones.
Bonjour.
Dobro done.
How are we all?
So, a lot of people ask me a lot of questions.
They go, you still, because I haven't done any videos for a little bit,
they go, oh, have you still got your guinea pigs and all that?
Well, I still do.
And this is what I do each morning, I feed them all.
It's actually a great way to start the day.
And for those people who, a lot of them I'm sure they just joke,
they go, do you eat your guinea pigs?
Well, no, I don't eat my guinea pigs.
And I don't actually sell any either.
But I do give a few away.
This is just for pure relaxation, good for the mind, good for the soul.
Something that I enjoy doing with my friends and family.
My grandchildren love them.
And they're very rewarding.
The trouble nowadays, you watch the news, social media news or whatever,
or videos and stuff, and it's not always easy to work out
what's right and what's wrong and what's fabricated and what's not.
And there's so much generative stuff just made up.
These little guys are enjoying their breakfast.
What are you, camera shy?
Guess I was trying to work out what they like better.
Oh, fighting in the camp, better put a few more bits down.
I'll give them a rock melon.
Yeah, try a bit of rock melon.
I'm going to go and start giving the boys some.
There you go.
Oh, there's a little black face.
So someone was laughing about the names I have.
A lot of the names are just their markings, you know.
Black face, white face, pink ears, brown butt, whatever.
They've all got...
And then other names is just how they are.
You know, we've got Jenny and Mabel and Jack.
Well, we haven't got Jack anymore,
because Jack was the one that went to a lady's house,
and then he came back, and now he's back over there.
Oh, I'll have to take some over here.
Oh, OK, sorry guys, dragging me feed here.
Who wants some carrots?
Here, have it.
No, that's a bag.
There we go.
Variety.
It's getting harder and harder to eat healthy, unhealthy.
No, your food's over here.
A little bit of cauliflower.
So what's the favourite food this morning?
Everyone's having a chew on something different.
Yeah, I think the carrots are.
What are you doing?
Here.
Here, you lost. Here.
She wanted a bit of pumpkin.
Huh?
She wanted a bit of pumpkin.
Yeah, wanted a bit of something.
So she's an old girl.
You can see how she's got that old double chin.
So with the guinea pigs,
when they've got a lot of room,
you know, we're blessed that we've got plenty of room.
They're easier to maintain because they get the exercise,
wear their nails down, you can give them more chewing material.
And we're lucky with our vitamin D.
So their teeth keep growing, so plenty to chew on.
So I do provide different,
generally off the different branches,
so they can chew on the bark and that.
Works their teeth.
Have all the boys come around?
Huh?
Have all the boys come around?
Oh yeah, well we had a couple of warm days,
the pigs have really copped a hard time.
And I've got quite a few dragon fruit all set.
Get that mosquito on my finger.
My boys are happy anyway.
That's about it.
So it's funny, I've got a lot on today and
I got up late.
When normally I'm out of bed,
before it's, you know, just getting light.
We're lucky here, we've got a lot of day time.
It's light before five.
And it doesn't start to dim until
after seven.
I'm going to bring a bit of pumpkin over here
because the girls haven't got any.
I like to give them plenty, they're different.
So what happens is after they've finished eating,
whatever's left, I have to pick up and give it to my chickens
because it all goes off very quick because
our weather's warm.
And the chickens just bowl for it.
They seem to eat non-stop.
Anyway,
that was just a little hello.
I know it's funny here, we've got nice warm weather
and I'm talking to people in Scotland
and they had snow the other day and in England
and I think it's starting to warm up
so it'll all melt and
end up being a bit sloshy for them.
So it's so different.
You don't want a long drive over where it's snowing,
a lot of shoveling.
So this is just my private backyard
and this is my life.
Get up and say g'day to all the little ones.
Okay, thank you very much.
Hope you all have an excellent 2025.
Remember, focus on all the good things in life
and avoid all the bad things.
Thank you.
