Hi guys, welcome to another daily juice.
We had an interesting idea for today's video.
We've just been filming some reaction videos.
You join us in the afternoon,
but as you may see from the title of this video, depending on what we call it,
we had an idea today to let's go and join Lucy.
She's currently making some ginger tea with apple cider vinegar.
After my birthday, we might be starting a new health regime, shall we call it.
It's a real commitment.
Yeah, we're doing a little bit of research
and seeing if we want to do it and seeing if we can commit to it and all that kind of stuff.
Very handy feature of our coffee machine
is that it has instant boiling water so we can make tea with it as well.
It's hot vinegar.
Oh, apple cider vinegar.
Thank you very much.
Right, where was I?
We will, as I was saying, guys, welcome to the video.
We had an idea today.
We were watching
a YouTuber in the UK, Alfie Day.
Some of you guys might have heard of him
and we've watched him for a long time, years and years now.
And he did a video where he looked, he basically made a video five years ago.
What he wanted to, what was the title?
Something like my life in 10 years time.
How I imagine my life to be in 10 years time.
Like you want to work, what in your head do you want now to have happened in 10 years?
What you want to have happened in 10 years time from that point of making that video.
We've never made a video like that.
It's almost like a message to your future self.
And I love,
I love that YouTube can be like a time capsule of moments.
Lucy and I also off the vlog are going to kind of film a 10 year,
a message to our future selves in 10 years, just private for us.
And even talk about, we said like we can talk about things in it that are like
this is how much a carton of milk costs right now.
Because in 10 years it's going to be different.
And like we can say like this is our day to day life at the moment.
This is a food we love and the food we don't like.
Yeah, like who knows?
I might start liking a certain food in 10 years.
Little things like that. We're going to make it quite long.
Like these are the things we're working on at the moment.
These are the ideas we have for the future.
This is what we think will happen in 10 years.
But this video today, we have found a Q&A that we filmed three years ago.
And a lot of the questions in that Q&A were based around the future.
So we're going to go back with you guys today.
Watch that video, almost like a reaction video, actually,
and then see if anything we said in that video three years ago has happened
or whether we still want to do the things that we said we wanted to do or whether
we're doing them or whether we've changed our mind totally on what we thought our
future would look like. So we're not 10 years on.
We're not even five years on, but we're three years on.
We thought this could be interesting
for ourselves, interesting for the vlog,
interesting for you guys to mark a little moment in time.
So Lisa and I have today, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we, we filmed
we, we, we, we, we filmed three reaction videos.
We're going to film three more.
We're kind of filming them in bursts at the moment because...
Nice, Lisa's got a cool little... I'll put them back on, you look well good.
I don't think I look nice in them.
OK, we're trying to film them in bursts
because you guys are sending in so many requests.
Actually, is it you guys?
We're still, a lot of people are now
finding us from the reaction channel and not from this channel.
So I think we've got a new audience over there, but I'm sure some of you watch
the reaction channel too. I saw a comment on Manor's Instagram post saying,
oh, I watched, I know them, they're Juicy Reacts, like not with a Juicy Vlog,
like it's a new thing, it's crazy.
Yeah, so like building a whole new thing.
That channel, by the way, is on 50,000 subscribers.
Super grateful for that.
If you're one of those subscribers, thank you very much.
We are, we're halfway to, and Lucy said if you're not, please change it.
We're halfway to another play button on that channel, which is mental.
Really crazy.
So we hope you guys are all doing well.
Some other stuff going on.
We're going to try and go live again on our Facebook group.
If you're not part of the secret Facebook group, as we call it,
I think it's got like 5,000 members in, so it's not much of a secret anymore.
Do you think we have time today?
Of course we have time.
We've got loads to edit after this.
It's only 3.30.
But we've got nine videos to edit today.
But trust me, Luce, when you edit,
which you haven't done yet, when you edit on that new desk set up,
you are going to be motivated.
You are going to be,
you are going to be motivated.
You're going to be productive.
I still can't film nine videos within enough time, in a few hours.
You'll want to edit like 10 videos.
You sit there, you've got a huge screen in front of you.
We'll go live at midnight then.
We could.
Anyway, if you're not part of that group, feel free to join.
We have to accept every member.
So we look through there and accept people regularly.
And it's kind of like exclusive content.
And then it's live streams from us.
It's a group for us to discuss like the do the thing message and share some
positivity, share some inspiring stories and that kind of thing.
So if you're interested, please, if you're interested, please sign up for that.
Not sign up. It's free. It's Facebook.
Just request to join the group.
Yeah, we're going to film some more reaction videos and then we'll catch you guys
in a minute. Well, like seconds for you.
And we'll watch this old Q&A.
Sorry, I just ate some root chips and they're really dry.
Sorry, I just ate some root chips.
Just kept stopping my words from coming out.
We'll catch you in a second. We'll watch this old Q&A.
We'll see what three years younger George and Lucy.
I was 24, Lucy was 20, 21, 20 or 21.
We'll see what we have to say for ourselves.
And then we can react to this video in another five years.
It's kind of convenient, actually,
because we're already like set up in our little set for filming reaction videos.
But we're going to
watch this clip.
Lucy found this.
I actually found it. What vlog was it on?
It was a vlog called Having a Baby.
I think we made about six vlogs with that title so far.
Still haven't got a baby, but
let's find it. Is it in the Q&A, please?
Sorry, the microphone is very loud. Yeah, it's a little bit loud.
Just search it. Juicy Vlog, Having a Baby.
OK, lunch is ready. Let's film the sled.
Let's find the part.
You don't listen yet. OK, this is 2017 Q&A we filmed.
This is 2017, George and Lucy in our old
apartment in the UK with the light.
We have these lights behind us.
And if you think the lighting looks good on our face, it's
because Lucy had a dressing table with these insane
bright lights all around and we always used to sit in front of it to film videos.
Had to quickly change the battery. There you go.
We're fully charged again.
So this is a question we got on a Q&A.
It says, what are your plans for the future?
Love your videos.
So this is May the 20th, 2017.
The video got 1,873 views,
which for us at the time was high.
And let's see what we've said to this.
Because I don't know. I saw this question pop up and I was watching it earlier.
I was like, is it at the right time?
OK, so it's two minutes, 44 into this video.
And we haven't actually watched this yet.
I saw this question and I just paused it, knowing that we should film it.
Future plans.
I don't know what we're going to say. OK, go.
Yeah. What are your plans for the future?
We look really different.
Well, the truth about our future is we...
I thought that was going to say, what are your plans for the weekend for some reason?
We don't have a fixed plan for the future,
but we do have things that we want to do in our lives, which mainly the thing
we've been talking about at the moment is seeing the world, seeing more of the world,
doing loads more travelling and just getting out there and exploring basically.
And making the most of every day as well.
Like we try and do that as much as we can.
As you guys see, we go out all the time on the weekends and stuff,
but it's just having a full time job and trying to upload three times a week
alongside these jobs is hard work.
But we love it. Don't get us wrong.
It's not a chore. It's not a big chore.
Plans for the future is to do more of this, make more videos for you guys.
We did it. And travel the world.
We literally looked at the camera and we were like, this is our plan.
And we weren't full time YouTubers.
We had like a thousand subscribers, maybe two thousand.
We had full time jobs.
It was a hobby, but we hadn't travelled the world.
We hadn't been to Asia.
We had the idea of quitting our jobs and travelling probably at this point.
It might have crossed our minds,
but we obviously couldn't be on the Internet like with our jobs being like,
we're going to quit our jobs and travel because our jobs would have been like,
where are you going? Like you haven't told me this.
If your boss watched it.
Yeah, exactly. Or anyone from my work.
And then they shared it. Well, same with yours.
So like, it's super interesting because it we literally,
I think that was a kind of a way of us saying this might grow more like full time
if, but maybe we'll try and make it full time kind of thing.
So this is when we knew we wanted to go for it.
But we didn't, we hadn't made it.
It wasn't till the end of this year that we'd properly planned to do it.
Yeah, let's do it next year.
2018 was when we went off travelling and daily vlogging.
So it wasn't till the January of that year that we kind of said, let's do it.
And then the June or something we handed our notices in.
So this was way in advance.
But I think that was like a secret way without putting it on the Internet of being
like, this is the future, this right here, this thing, that's so creepy.
And the fact that we said we just want to enjoy every day.
So that's a nice reminder for us to watch
that and just say, enjoy the little things, enjoy every day like we try and do anyway.
That's nice, yeah.
That's interesting. That's crazy.
That's weird and scary.
Right, would you like some pasta, my dear?
Oh, yes, I would.
We made some pesto pasta last night.
I say we, you know who made it.
We know that you put some aubergine skin in the bin.
Remember, OK, you didn't do nothing.
Without that. I'm a little helper, cleaner, rubber.
Not even that, because you only did one thing.
But without that, it would have taken me another two seconds to make.
I'm lucky to have you, really.
Right.
Another incredible sunset on the balcony.
That is the best I've seen that sky over there.
Orange, we like to come out at this time of day, as you guys know,
and try not to drop our camera off the balcony.
That's the main thing we try and do when we come out here.
But secondly, we try and enjoy
breathing, relaxing.
We have a fast, even in quarantine, we seem to have pretty fast paced days.
So it's nice to come out here and
the neighbors are actually in that room tonight.
So I'll try not to try not to film them.
We've got all our editing done.
Lucy's been editing on the new desk and well, it's not a new desk.
It's our dining room table.
But we've got a new monitor and stuff.
I've been editing reaction videos.
I'm halfway through them.
We're cooking up pork tonight for dinner.
We've cracked open a little beer because this evening it's been a manual focus.
I could turn this light on.
That's a little bit better.
Camera doesn't like focusing when it's dark.
Yeah, this evening is the start of my birthday officially.
I'm marking it. I don't care if it's tomorrow, really.
It is my birthday tomorrow, my 27th birthday in lockdown.
It's crazy when when lockdown, when quarantine first started,
I remember thinking my birthday is still quite far away.
So I didn't actually imagine it being affected and having a quarantine birthday.
If you've had a quarantine birthday, comment below.
Let me know what you what you got up to, how you got on.
All right, I'm just cooking up some delicious dinner.
It's smelling incredibly meaty in here
tonight because there's these huge pork chops we got delivered and they're so thick
and they smell amazing and I'm cooking up a load of vegetables to go with that.
And I also made some little sweet potato crispy things.
So it's looking good, smelling great.
Georgia's just watching the vlog back on the big screen just here for tonight's
upload to check for any errors and stuff and any nudity because that's not a good
thing on YouTube.
But tomorrow is Georgia's birthday and I'm really excited.
I can't actually wait for Georgia's birthday.
I don't know, it feels like it's going to be a different day.
It feels like a really special day.
I know it's going to be the same as every other day.
We're going to try and make it a bit more special than a normal day.
But I don't know, having like something like that to look forward to.
He can't hear me. I could say anything.
Georgia's a smelly boy.
I said that and this is what he does. Brilliant.
You can't even hear what I'm saying, but he's just showing off about three
screens and I've got a few things up my sleeve to make it more special.
But it's just nice having like something different happening in the day.
It's like an event, more stuff going on than our usual day in the life in quarantine.
So that's that.
I would tell you what I've got planned because technically it wouldn't be edited
yet, but I think we're editing this video tonight so that we don't have to edit on
Georgia's birthday. So it means that we can have a little bit more of a fun day,
just the two of us, but we are vlogging.
So you'll see all the surprises.
You'll see all the things I've got planned.
It's lovely, isn't it, on that screen?
It's so nice on the screen and also your phone quality is really good.
Wow, is that a phone? That outdoor clip.
Crazy, look at that. Your phone.
That looks so nice.
Wow. It's really good quality. Shame about the wind noise.
Yeah, that's the only thing.
But it's stable and it's high quality.
Thank you very much.
So George is actually turning 30 tomorrow, which is crazy.
So the big 3-0. I'm 25.
Actually, let's not say my age in this vlog.
I might have already said it.
Comment below how old you think I'm turning
and then in tomorrow's vlog we'll tell you how old I actually am.
Well, everyone already knows that, don't they?
All you've got to do is look on Famous Birthdays because someone's a little
Famous Birthday boy. I am actually on there, aren't I?
Yeah, so am I. And so are you.
Very cool.
Never thought I'd actually be on Famous Birthdays.
Never thought my birthday would be famous.
I had a real urge to stick my finger up your nose and I don't know why.
Go and cook dinner.
Just finished the last final six reaction video for tonight.
We figured out that six is like our limit.
We recorded eight in a row once.
And the thing is, we love filming reaction videos.
It's fun to watch new stuff,
the stuff that we wouldn't maybe normally watch and put a video together.
But we never want it to become something that feels like a chore.
And eight was quite difficult by the end,
just like attention span wise, and then to then sit down and edit eight
videos in a row. I know, your brain goes to mush afterwards.
If anyone edits videos, you'll know what I'm talking about.
We're going to end off this vlog here.
Is Lucy preparing breakfast for tomorrow already?
Yeah. What are you up to?
Something a little special.
Oh, lovely.
OK.
I don't actually know really, I'm just trying something out.
But we'll see. You'll see it in tomorrow's vlog.
OK, cool.
As I said, it is my birthday tomorrow.
So I think tonight we're just going to have a little film.
I mean, it's really late. It's like nine o'clock, still editing.
But that is the daily life of a vlogger.
So we're going to leave this vlog off here.
I think we're going to watch a film or something in bed or watch more Benidorm
because we seem to be watching that and enjoying that in a moment.
I'll see you tomorrow for my birthday.
Leave a comment below. Wish me a happy birthday in advance.
Isn't it meant to be me asking you to do that?
Oh, yeah, I'm not supposed to ask that, am I?
If you do, I will read it and I'll be very, very grateful.
Might even do a little birthday live stream.
That would be cool.
Tomorrow, make sure you're on that Facebook group I told you about.
I've accepted 50 new members today.
Like 40 something.
I always like to round up to make it sound cool.
No, like three times, I've accepted new members like three times.
Then there's like 11, 15 in each round.
OK, we're going to end this vlog here, guys.
We'll see you tomorrow for my birthday.
Hope you enjoyed today's video. Please give it a thumbs up.
If you did, road to 400k on this channel.
Can we do it? I hope we can.
We're going quite quick at the moment, in all fairness to us.
It's not meaning to brag, but it's very good.
I know, it's amazing.
You guys are insane.
If you're new to the channel, please consider subscribing if you like our videos.
I know they're a bit different at the moment.
I really hope you're enjoying the vlogs.
We're just vlogging. We're just carrying on.
You know, what else can we do at the moment?
Keep coming back to the channel. We really appreciate it.
Give today's video a thumbs up and we'll see you tomorrow.
Bye.
