Real Madrid vs Dortmund 6-2 - All Goals & Highlights | FIFA Club World Cup 2025

A really strong side out and start I would expect from Real Madrid. And very different conditions. Tau and Dani Carvajal are back on the bench. They've got loads of chances, they can see it in both games. I think that it's Real Madrid taking on runners. The best form of attack is to go and be positive. Came off the bench to get two goals. Forward, it's Real Madrid 1. McLean breaking up his Gittins again. Going up on Watts, taking on Rierson on that side. Vasquez, it's up to him really to make do. Struggles actually in the fit. Here's Modric. Modric with the corner kick. Bellingham, Marlon, slights Ingaresi. They've conceded at least twice and are yet to win. Valverde who really can hit them. That's another deflection, another corner. Scored in the last two Real Madrid games. You have to help them out. In Emilia Tau, Real Madrid look as if they're in the mood. So far tonight they do. Fit, still. Drifts into a dangerous area. And the ball deflects behind Mbappe's effort. They've got the block on it. Here's Mbappe. Lucas Vasquez going forward a lot. Vinicius has to have a dash at that defence. But they're doing a good job. For a moment, cuts inside. Nearly finds Donyale. Last season he had ten goals to his name. None this time around. But he has had to be deployed in a much deeper position. All those sort of drops, he's so, you know. That's what football's all about, isn't it? Just Danny Carvajal. And Mecher again looking for that. And Mecher again. Just so quick. Vinicius was looking for a... Maybe not in problem. Malin. And then a weekend header against Sampoli. Mbappe. Great hit. Lucas Vasquez with... Vinicius Junior, Rodrigo, almost the same. That whenever anything goes in, they... His challenge looked a bit... Stunts up. I wonder if the ref... Modric. Lucas Vasquez given quite a lot of... Did well. Here is Gerasi. And Malin. 1-0 Dortmund. Brilliantly worked, chance. Goal. All started with that pass there from Ben Sabah. He's been the busier of the two goalkeepers here and that. He's got the bounce of the ball. Got the wrong side of Ben Sabahini. Right shirt scattered in there, but no movement. Norman, you'd have to say... After a... Not that in. He's done really well there. That's Hitchens. Well, this is a stunner. And that's what goal scorers do. Get at the far post, get... Yards away from the goal. Just in case, just in case. And another... Second game. 2-0 down here. But for how much longer? Oh, big chance. He just went... Modric. Ben Sabahini doing just about... Mbappe. He's been the busier of the two goalkeepers here and that. Goalkeepers here and that. Hold on. Brandt. Oh, what a really... Courtois. Stretched into the side. But that was a tracer bullet. At that area, they are vulnerable. Lucas Vazquez loves to get forwards. Of course he is, but he's not a typical... Much longer. Twice. How does that stay out? But it does. Carries on, tries the shot in the end. Might have looked for Guirassi, but I guess he was in... Here's Rodrigo. Narrative. Vinicius. Do something to change the narrative of the game. Brandt doing well again. Brandt and... And match are 2-0. Nights so far. Real Madrid 0-3. He is the son of Carlo Ancelotti and his assistant as well at Real Madrid. And you'd have to say a very successful partnership now. Valverde. Dortmund. Again, a little sloppy ball, giving it away. That's fine. That tackle was fine. Get back. Guirassi let it run. Maybe thought there was somebody behind him. Modric took a chance. It's one of those games, as you said earlier, where one... And that's a very careless ball. Clever ball. Mendy to stand that one up. What a great piece of work by Schlotterbeek. Turn any game around. 36 team league. Lovely ball. Yeah, from Vinicius. It was. Towards Mbappe. Vinicius needed it earlier, really. Again. Another block may have been. New formation. Daniel Marlon. Good work. Goes wide. Vinicius. Could he have hit it earlier? Could have done. Dortmund. Mbappe. Glorious isolation, wasn't he? Tony Roos showing your hands to the opposition. And there could be Mbappe in. Was he fouled? In a trace of levelling. Is he offside? Well, is there an offside? Now it has. They had to do it officially. Yeah, the printer. Look at Rudiger's face. That is a picture. It's wide in the end. He's got onto that ball on here. Maybe. Olympic speed. And on and on and on he goes and scores. How about that? 2-0 down. 4-2 up. Solo goal. From the man that most people think will win the Ballon d'Or. Yeah, that's why all those people have turned up tonight, Ian. For a night like this. They will leave the stadium and they'll say, I was there. The power, but unfortunately placed it into the chairs behind the stand. Hat-trick now. He might even get it. That's it. Goodness me. He has been electric the last half an hour. Vinicius Junior, that's what he can do. A hat-trick tonight in the Champions League. The players look like amateurs, hasn't he, in this second half. Need to stand up. He is certainly...
