This Was UNEXPECTED IN CEBU, Arriving For SINULOG in Philippines!

Good morning. Good morning, guys. Welcome to the start of what is gonna be an incredibly fun trip. We are, I don't know what's going on. This place is a mess. We've gotta leave in half an hour. We haven't packed our clothes. I've got all the camera gear in the bag. Priorities first. Vlog first. Need to pack clothes. We're off on a trip. We're off to Cebu today. We're off with Mike and Nellie for the first day of. Can we put an echo on my voice when I say it and we edit this? Let's try. Okay, ready? Let's try, let's do it. Three, two, one. No, I want you to say it. Okay, how about maybe make my voice really deep so I'm like a robot, ready? Okay. Making it juicy on the road. That was freaky. But before we start this vlog, we wanna give ourselves a shout out. Oh, we do. We do, okay, okay. You're not even ready to hear this, guys. This is important. So, basically, you know there's like the juicy vlog, of course, because you're watching it. George and I have had an idea. Well, we had the idea ages ago, like last year, halfway through last year, towards the end of last year. How we can, we had all these ideas for videos and some of them weren't quite right for the juicy vlog. We were thinking about some other channels and that is what's happening now. We've decided that we are gonna launch, all part of 2020, all part of leveling up, all part of this year and doing what we love and everything like that. We are launching two, well, one more channel each. We're launching two new channels on YouTube. There's gonna be Lucy's own channel. Which has a genius name, Juicy Vlog. The Lucy Vlog. That's coming. See what we did there. And my channel is gonna be called More George. This does not mean that there's gonna be less Juicy Vlog videos. There's gonna be the same Juicy Vlog videos, these videos that you watch, these videos that you enjoy. That's not gonna change at all. It just means that we're gonna film some extra videos. And the extra videos are things, like we said, that we don't think would be right on this channel. Not that there's a certain structure on this channel because we do upload a load of different stuff. But for example, I feel like on this channel, you might not wanna see hauls and different topics and stuff like that. And even different perspectives and stuff where it's just me talking. And then same with George. We've got some ideas for your channel as well. Yeah, mine's gonna be kind of some men's stuff. Some music, some food. Food? Mine's food. I'm a cook here. That's fine. No, maybe not cooking. I don't know. Eating. Burgers and things like that. It's a bit of fun for us. It's a way we wanna make some extra videos. They're probably gonna be shorter videos. Probably gonna be less vloggy, more structured, more dedicated on topics and things like that. But we're very excited. But we have, guys, a challenge for you. And we really need your help with this. We are gonna drop our first videos on both of these new channels. The links are in the description, by the way, for each channel. We've got one subscriber and it's each other. We're gonna drop the first videos when both channels hit 5,000 subscribers. We know that's a big ask because you're subscribing before you get a video. But we feel like if we just start uploading videos and no one subscribes, you won't see them. So that's why we're giving ourselves a shout out in our own vlogs now, no one subscribes, which sounds kind of weird. Basically, it's a way for us to be able to bring you guys more content, but more stuff that's our hobbies. I might do cooking stuff, plant stuff, hauls for homeware in Manila, makeup stuff, all that kind of good stuff that I enjoy, but that I feel like some people watching this video might not. So that's why it's more specific for that. And then the same with George. Yeah, exactly. So we know you guys can do it. We launched a Facebook group, the secret Facebook group, if you're part of that. Within days, it's had thousands of people join it in a very short period of time. So we know you guys can do it. Please go to our channels, subscribe. Videos will be dropping soon. Subscribe to both. We're not gonna launch the video on each until both are at 5,000. So if I get like 5,500 and George is still on 3,000, you're not gonna see either. Hey, why are you assuming that you're gonna get more? All right, so we just wanted to let you know that. We're heading to the airport in a minute. We need to pack, we need to go. We do need to pack. Let's get on with this. So this has to be the busiest we've ever seen this airport. We are right back here. Mike is over there. He's so tall that he sticks out the crowd. And apparently it took them half an hour to get from here to there. And they're still waiting halfway. Lucy had a good idea that if we just waited till the last minute, we just run to the final call desk, which is empty, but that's not being a good person. Gotta queue like everyone else. And this is home for the next two hours. Yay! So nothing's booked yet, but we're about to board the flight. So it's going really well. We haven't had any time to book anything. Apart from two hours. It's only like a two hour wait, so it wouldn't have been enough time to probably get into it. We can do it tonight. Yeah, or tomorrow. Yeah. Or like in a week or something. Or the day before, go somewhere. Or if we sit in the car and, I don't know. Just drive. Yeah. True. Little hint there, we have a car. Sorted. I think the important thing is we have a plan. That's more than we had last time. That's true. You don't need to necessarily book things. Yeah, exactly. Got a rough idea of where you're going. Hey, we're on our way to, I don't know. More board. But we cannot delay any further because Mike and Nelly today have been fasting and they're about, the dinner tonight is the first meal they would have eaten in two days. So we don't want to delay things. So we're going to get to the Airbnb, drop our bags and then Mike can have some food. That's going to make him very happy. Nice to meet you. Take care. I think loads of people had their flights delayed from the Teleraktion a couple of days ago. So all the flights are packed. There's loads of people here at the Cinelog Festival. Like on these trips, they're unplanned and then suddenly something happens and it's like, ah, that's pretty handy. Some lady just came up to us and was like, do you want to get in my van? I've hired to go into the city because we cannot get a taxi. Cause this, bye. Bye. That queue was going to take hours. Wow. So we're currently trying to navigate to our Airbnb because the lady we were taking a ride with could only drop us on the main road because she's got some events to get to. So that leaves us wandering the streets. Somewhere in Cebu. Somewhere. I've got no idea where. I couldn't tell you on a map, but it's this little neighbourhood. There's people out like grilling their food and stuff. Oh, that's really bright. There you go. People out just grilling their food for dinner and kids playing and stuff. So it's very local. Ah, here it is. Oh yeah. Nice. I see the name. Perfect. Oh my God. Aw. Hello. Oh. Update for you. We arrived in Cebu. Hopped in that van as you saw. Dumped our stuff at the Airbnb that we're staying at. And now we are on foot. Cause we didn't know how long a grab would be. Heading over for some dinner. And hilarious whenever we travel with these guys. Seems to always be unexpected adventure. Now walking through the middle of, I have no idea where we are, but the dinner place that we're going to is 15 minutes from here. So we're all very hungry at this point. If you're newer to the channel than say a year or so ago, and you have no idea what making it juicy on the road is, then it's basically, we met Mike and Nelly over a year ago now. We decided to travel the Philippines together cause we were both in the country at the same time. So yeah, let's do a trip. Ended up lasting months. We called it making it juicy. Mixture of our two channel names. And been friends since then. Decided to do it all again at the beginning of this year, 2020. So I hope that's brought you guys up to speed. We're incredibly hungry. I've only had one coffee today as well. One coffee. So even though it's 8 p.m., definitely gonna have one or two, probably one or two coffees with dinner. Just arrived at the mall.
