Welcome into the video. I am your tech
guy, Wayne, and today I want to show you
how to reset your Samsung Galaxy A26
back to factory settings. This will
erase all data and set the phone up like
a brand new phone. Let's start with
swiping up on the home screen and going
to the settings app. Swipe up and go to
accounts and backup. From here, go to
manage accounts. And we need to first
tap on any and all Google accounts and
simply hit remove account. If you have
multiple Google accounts, make sure you
remove all of them. Next, select your
Samsung account and make sure you remove
that as well. Hit sign out. It will ask
you to put in your passcode before you
can do it. So, make sure you put in your
passcode or do the uh one-time email
verification. After you've signed out of
your Google account and your Samsung
account, we're going to go back to uh go
back one page to accounts and backup
here and go to reset.
From here, you're going to tap on
factory data reset.
Now, keep in mind when you do the reset,
it's going to remove all the data off of
your phone. So, if you haven't backed it
up yet, make sure you back up all your
data first. Tap on reset.
You'll need to put in whatever your PIN
code was for the phone,
and then you're going to hit delete all.
Now, once you hit this, it's going to
erase all the data off of the phone. So,
make sure you have transferred all your
data to a new phone or backed it up to a
memory card first before doing the
reset. If you don't know how to back it
up to a memory card, I have a video I
can link to right here. At the end of
that video, it'll show you how to back
up all your data to a micro SD memory
card before you do this because again,
once we hit this button, all the
information is going to be wiped from
the phone and it will be set like a
brand new phone. All right, so we've
just triggered the factory reset. One
important note, your phone needs to be
uh at 30% battery or more. If not, it
will not let you trigger the factory
reset. So, make sure your phone is
charged up before you start this process
or it won't even let you start. From
this point, it'll take anywhere from 2
minutes to 5 minutes for it to erase all
your data. And then to set the phone up
like a brand new phone, you will know
the process is complete because it will
take you to a welcome screen and then it
will ask you to select a language. Hope
