I still remember who we are, who we are, as we stare into the sun.
I can't believe we've come so far.
I still remember who we are, who we are.
Now these days have come and gone.
We've given everything we've got.
I still remember.
Do you like yourself?
Do you see yourself?
Adeline is a wild animal.
You guys, she's still not walking.
But she did try to take one step the other day.
Kind of took one step.
Yes.
But she's climbing on everything.
I know I told you that.
Right?
In our live video.
In our live Q&A video.
But yesterday she was down and I was like, okay, she's tired.
I'm going to take her for a nap.
First I got to go to the bathroom.
So I just had to pee real quick.
Which like when you're pregnant, you pee all the time.
But it literally is like two seconds.
A minute, maybe.
So I got up and went to the bathroom.
And I was peeing, done.
And heard her cry.
And I came running out.
And she must have fun.
We have this little teeny brown chair.
It's like a child size chair.
And I think she climbed on it and it tipped backwards.
And she hit her face on our end table next to the couch.
Do you want to show them your boo boo?
It looks a lot better today.
Do you see her cheek though?
This line right here?
So it's like this weird V shape.
Because it's like an X on the side of the thing.
I think that's what she must have hit.
Ow!
Look, show them in your head.
Just show them.
Your boo boo right here.
Oh, buddy.
Yep.
I will post a picture.
Or we did post a picture on Instagram.
But I'll post a picture too on our Facebook of like when it had just happened.
To show you guys.
She's so sad.
That's her first big.
She just wants to get down.
So I'm going to let her down.
As you can tell, she's fine.
It was like her first big boo boo.
She cried for maybe five minutes.
I picked her up.
We got her Pasi.
I put oils on it right away.
That's always my first thing.
I took a picture.
The clove is very numbing.
It's actually an analgesic.
People use it for, or dentists sometimes use it to numb your mouth.
I use it when I have a toothache.
So it's really good for numbing.
So that in it mixed with the hilichrysum to help stop bleeding.
Because it was a big goose egg right away.
In a goose egg, if you don't know, if you don't have kids yet.
Or if you're like just newly a parent.
Goose eggs are always a good thing.
Because that means that the bleeding is happening on the outside of the skull.
In between the skin and the skull.
Which is always better than having brain bleeding.
So.
Let me show you this.
I told you.
She's climbing everything.
Where are you going?
In our little partner's learning tower?
I know.
You can't wait until you're big enough.
But I don't trust you in there.
She'll probably fall right out of that thing right now.
And then she had already been tired.
So I laid her down for a nap.
First I made sure her eyes were responding.
Her pupils were equal size.
Responding to light.
And then she went down for a nap.
She smiled at me.
She didn't like the ice at all.
But other than that she was fine.
She was acting like herself within five minutes of it happening.
And so yeah.
When she woke up from her nap like an hour later.
The goose egg was like almost totally gone already.
So she was fine.
I'm laughing because she's just looking.
Peek-a-boo.
There you are.
Peek-a-boo.
You're so sweet and so silly.
Peek-a-boo.
Is that funny?
You can see dad.
I wish you could see.
It's a little dark in here.
Da-da.
So she's still her sweet, silly self.
She might be a little crazier.
She might be a little bit more silly.
She's fine.
So she had her first big boo-boo.
Anyway, she's fine now.
I'm so thankful for that.
But it was so sad.
But I'll put a picture of Wright when it first happened on our Facebook.
And then obviously last night I had John check on her after she'd been sleeping for a couple of hours.
Just to make sure she was waking up.
She's so excited with me.
But it's always sad when your baby gets their first boo-boo.
Oh, but she hasn't learned her lesson because she's still trying to find stuff.
Look at this.
This is cute.
She's going to fall over.
Lean over so far as you.
You're so silly.
Are you a silly animal?
Tell me what kind of sandwich you want.
Don't you be nasty.
You be sweet.
Excuse me.
Do I have to eat you?
No.
Do I have to eat you to be sweet?
You want me to eat you?
No.
You going to be sweet?
You promise?
I promise.
What you got today?
I got lunch with a cowboy.
Okay.
What lunch do you want today?
I want peanut butter and jammy and apples.
I want cereal and applesauce.
We are getting ready for school today.
We have.
I can't see.
Come back here.
I can't see.
There you are.
Now you can be crazy.
We got a school day today.
We're getting the kids.
We just got them breakfast.
Now we're about to make them lunch.
We're letting them pick out what sandwiches they want.
They're looking at themselves in the screen.
What do you guys have going on at school today?
You want to see your friends?
Judy, no one can see you.
Get back here.
All right.
Let's get these kids some lunches.
And then we got to get them in the car, get them dressed.
Elena's warmest outfit yesterday.
So she can wear it again today.
Daniel's resting while I get these kids together.
What are you going to do at school today?
You don't do that.
Bubble gum with my bubble.
That's not bubble gum.
That's just spit bubbles.
Yeah, that's what I do.
We have some multi-grain Cheerios this morning.
The kids like those.
They're pretty good for them.
They do have some sugars.
Let's see.
Six grams of sugars.
Not too much.
We got sandwiches.
Who wants what?
What do you want?
I want peanut butter and apple.
Okay.
We're not doing that.
Peanut butter and jelly, peanut butter and banana, or turkey sandwich?
Peanut butter and banana.
Okay.
And what do you want, G?
I want cookie and sandwich.
You want what?
I want cookie and sandwich.
Turkey sandwich.
Turkey sandwich?
Turkey and cheese?
Mm-hmm.
Okay.
And Tyler?
Turkey and cheese.
All right.
Very good.
We got our orders in.
Now I just got to make them.
And then we got...
Oh, my gosh.
It's 820.
I got to get them at the door.
We're trying to leave here by 830, but that's not going to happen.
845, though?
Yeah, maybe.
Looks like Judy shoved Tyler into the cabinet.
No, I got him.
You did?
Don't push her.
She's okay.
All right.
Come on, Tyler.
Let's go.
We got to get ready for school.
We got to get out of here.
Easy.
Easy, easy, easy.
What happened?
Okay.
Calm down.
What happened?
My finger was off.
Oh, don't rip her fingers off.
I'm going to school?
You're going to school.
You excited?
So for their lunches, we do organic bread for the kids.
So the kids can't bring peanut butter to school, which most schools don't let you because of
peanut butter allergies.
So we get this, sun butter, and it is made from sunflower seeds.
And then for the turkey, we use tofurkey.
So that's the turkey we're talking about.
And we use these like cheddar cheese.
They'll do like an orange, banana, or apple in their lunch boxes along with like an applesauce.
Okay.
You guys, welcome to dinner at the Murray's.
I have made something that I'm not sure what it is or what it's going to taste like.
And the truth is that we have not gone grocery shopping since we got back from California.
Yay, yay.
We've got like milk and bread and things like that as we've needed, but we haven't actually
gotten like groceries to make anything.
Hold on, buddy.
Anyway, so I made, it is, I guess if you want to call it anything, it's like a chicken,
broccoli, cheese, and potato casserole.
So that's what we're having for dinner.
We are going to just let you guys see what it looks like to have dinner with four kids
of Doris' six.
So that's what we're having for dinner.
We are going to just let you guys see what it looks like to have dinner with four kids
of Doris' six.
Actually, one, two, three, four, five, six.
Okay.
Who's six?
Six kids?
Well, and two adults.
You're right.
Six people.
As a family of six, because it gets a little crazy here.
We usually don't vlog dinner time.
It's family time, but also it's just usually a little crazy.
So as you can see.
I'm only seven.
We've already got things.
Actually, it's seven because one's in mommy's tummy.
And if it looks smoky, it's because there was butter burning in the bottom of the oven
and the smoke alarms were going off.
It's regular here.
Happens a lot.
I'm sure our neighbors do.
TV is on.
They were watching Tangled.
I'm about to turn that off, so that gets a little crazy.
But welcome to it.
Welcome to dinner at our house.
What is that, daddy?
Hey, it's Dada.
You're Dada, my buddy.
You're Dada.
We do need a new high chair because Jude's had a chair, but this one doesn't have a chair
anymore.
Anyway, so we're getting a bigger table, but usually we don't all sit on one side of the
table.
We just wanted to make sure we could see us all.
So you can have a seat at our table.
Yes.
Put my chair up.
Dad, can you give me cups for everyone?
What is it?
I don't know.
It's a castle.
Is a castle like short for...
I don't know.
I have to do a bunch of stuff together?
Pretty much.
This is all we have.
Literally, this is all we have.
All right, guys.
Let's pray.
Let's pray first.
You're going to pray first?
Yeah.
Okay.
Good job, Jude.
My turn.
Go ahead.
Thank you, God, for giving us food, and the bread, and the food, for giving us food.
Dear God, thank you for this food.
Let it nourish our bodies.
Thank you for our family, just for providing for us and for allowing us to have the means
to pay for our food and provisions.
We pray we'll have a good time tonight and enjoy each other's company.
And now let little babies bite our fingers.
In the same prayer.
Amen.
So it's chicken, broccoli, and cheese.
They have mashed potatoes on top.
You didn't even try a bite.
What?
The smell?
It smells good.
Eat it.
It's chicken and broccoli.
Come on, dude.
If you don't try it, you can't say it's yucky.
Yeah, you can't.
You have to taste it and see if you like it.
I like it, Mom.
I like it.
Addy!
Are you pooping?
You need to get out of that seat.
Would it be easier?
Why are you pooping, dog?
Come on.
It's probably really uncomfortable.
Here, sometimes when you get baby's got poop, you just gotta shake it out.
Dump it out.
Come on.
Get out.
Shake it out.
Dump it out.
Just like that.
Should be good now.
Should be a good pile of poop now.
Hey, little baby.
How's it going, little baby?
So this is where it gets crazy.
We're going to go eat dinner.
Was it a good dinner?
John's taking Elena up.
She's had a little attitude, but I think she's just tired.
So John is putting Elena in her room, and he'll probably come put Addy in the bed.
I'm going to lay down for a couple minutes, and then I'll probably clean this up while
Tyler and Judy maybe take a bath and go to bed.
Adelyn, let's show me your boo-boo.
It's gotten much better.
Let me see your boo-boo.
On your cheek, it still looks sad.
Look.
Can you see her little cheek?
Adelyn.
Whoa, girl.
You're okay.
So this is our after dinner mess.
It's not too bad today.
A lot of times there's more food on the floor, but today is not so.
Adelyn, where are you going?
Look at her go.
Why are you screaming for Dada?
You're the one climbing.
Well, we love you guys.
Hope you have a good night.
Hope you enjoyed dinner with us.
Like I said, that was actually really tame compared to what it's normally like.
And there's usually a bigger mess, but it's going to be crazy trying to get the girls
in bed, especially since daylight savings time started.
They don't want to go to bed.
As early as we would like them to.
We try to get them to bed at 6.30 or 7, but now, obviously, 7.30 feels like 6.30 to them.
Anyway, we love you, and we hope you guys are having a great day.
Pray for us.
I need it.
Pray for me for strength and energy.
Good morning.
Can you say good morning?
Say hi.
Say hi, everyone.
Adelyn slept in today.
It is after 10 o'clock, and she just woke up.
Yeah, she did.
She's so...
Well, now she's getting a little fussy, but she woke up so happy.
You got a good night's sleep?
Now you want to go down the stairs with me?
Yeah?
You want to go down and eat?
Are you hungry?
Do you want a banana?
Uh-huh.
So, I am actually just getting up and around 2.
For whatever reason, I could not sleep last night.
It was like 2.30, and I'm laying there like, okay.
Seriously, fall asleep any minute now.
So, I do not bother to wake up Adelyn.
I just let her sleep.
Okay, so if you've watched our vlog before, you know probably that we don't buy Starbucks.
And so for a while, I was like kind of missing some ice caramel macchiatos.
We have an espresso machine, and we make our espresso drinks at home.
Lattes and cappuccinos, and John just mixes the espresso with water to make an Americano.
Just like a cup of coffee, basically.
I really missed my ice caramel macchiato.
So, I was like, well, duh.
I know how to make that.
I used to work at Sheetz, and I used to work as a barista, so I know how to make coffee drinks.
Anyway, so let me just tell you that I tried it the other day, and I'm hooked.
It is way better than Starbucks.
A, the coffee we buy is more expensive and a better quality.
And B, I'm able to use organic milk and real vanilla bean paste.
So, you might not be able to see it in there, but there's like vanilla bean specks for the vanilla.
It's delicious, and I'm so excited to get to have my caramel macchiatos.
Even bigger and better than Starbucks, and cheaper.
Lots, lots cheaper.
Are you having a good day so far?
What have you been doing today?
You do what?
You ate your eggs one more time?
Because you were hungry still?
Or were they good?
Were they good both times?
The first time and the second time?
Good.
You want a drink too?
Are you thirsty?
You can't have my coffee.
You can't have the coffee.
You're all dark because the light's behind you.
There you go.
So, I needed a straw, and all I've got is this Shamu straw.
See?
They don't have that at Starbucks.
That's mine.
You have one that looks just like it, but we bought a few of them.
Right?
For sisters and friends.
What's that sad face for?
I love you.
I'm going to ask Adelyn.
Did you eat one too?
Was it chocolatey?
Was it yummy?
Did you have a good night's sleep?
Too much water, too fast.
Look at her ears, you guys.
It makes me so sad.
It looks better.
But today, she has like a black eye.
And I'm not sure if that happened in the middle of the night in her crib.
Do you see right here?
Let's show everybody.
What happened to your eye, baby?
What happened to it?
Does it hurt?
She didn't seem bothered by it.
She fell out of the chair.
Yeah, that was how she hurt her face.
Do you see it?
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you're happy and you know it, then your face will surely show it.
Yeah.
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
Yay!
Are you ready to have another baby?
A baby sister?
Can I get my straw back?
I don't want it.
