They call this place the Switzerland of Vietnam, and I totally see why. Welcome to Daemong, Sapa,
a cozy homestay nestled right in the heart of stunning rice terraces. Getting here is part
of the adventure. It's about a 20-minute drive from the main town of Sapa, followed by a trek
down narrow trails and into the fields. But don't worry, once you reach the main road, they provide
a valet service to carry your luggage on a motorbike. From there you can choose to walk down
or ride down while soaking in the breathtaking scenery. The welcome area is a hybrid of a lobby
and a cafe, with warm brown and beige tones, traditional clay pots, cultural artwork, and a
woven ceiling that ties the rustic aesthetic together. Every corner is Instagram worthy,
with jaw-dropping views of its green landscapes. Best of all, this cafe lobby is open to everyone,
even if you don't book a room here. But trust me, staying overnight is the best way to experience
the Switzerland of Vietnam. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a sweet welcome drink and a warm
hello from their friendly family dog. Then we were shown to our room, which was right above the cafe.
A warm, cozy space featuring a comfy double bed, wooden finishes, and a private bathroom equipped
with hot and cold shower, plus eco-friendly shampoo and shower gel. The wi-fi was thankfully stable,
making it easy to check socials and even get some work done. And the mini floor desk by the window
made the perfect workspace. Just imagine an office with the most stunning views of the mountains and
rice terraces. And just a pro tip, book the corner room for the widest, most spectacular views. We'll
leave a discounted room link in the description below. Our booking also included free breakfast,
which you can enjoy indoors or al fresco under charming outdoor tents right by the rice fields.
And if you want to order lunch or dinner, they offer both local and international cuisine at
super affordable prices. And yes, their coffee and tea drinks were amazing. Some of the best drinks we
had during our entire Vietnam trip. Daemung is a photographer's dream, packed with picture-perfect
spots all around. For just $28 per night, good for two, this place is an absolute steal. No wonder
Daemung has such high ratings. Whether you stay overnight or visit for a day trip, Daemung Sapa
will leave you absolutely speechless. On to the next hotel.
No words can truly capture the grandeur of this place. 180 degrees of uninterrupted mountain views.
Welcome to Rock Garden Homestay. Though it felt like we were miles away from civilization, being
perched so high up, it's only a 25-minute drive from the city center. We stayed in one of their
iconic roundhouses, and let me tell you, it's exactly what it sounds like. A perfectly round
cabin perched on the edge of a cliff. The views were unobstructed. It's just you and the jaw-dropping
beauty of nature. It felt like sitting in nature's private theater, with curved windows that amplify
the panoramic views and make you feel like you were a part of the scenery. Our room, which cost
$70 per night, was good for two persons. It was pretty simple with minimalist decor and warm
wooden finishes. The huge bed was the ultimate spot to unwind, and there was also a mini desk
with floor cushions so you could sip your coffee while soaking in the views. The room also had a
flat screen smart TV too, perfect for Netflix or YouTube binges. Now the bathroom was sleek and
modern, with a chic dark design and a hot and cold shower. And just outside, the roundhouse had its
own private terrace which we could breathe in that crisp mountain air. And we noticed another
roundhouse that actually had an outdoor bathtub. How cool is that? All guests actually have free
access to their beautiful shared infinity pool. And oh my goodness, the views here were next level.
Of course, we couldn't resist snapping a few Instagram-worthy shots while enjoying a refreshing
dip. The in-house restaurant made everything even more convenient, offering light meals any time of
We tried out their hot vegetable soup and their tofu and tomato sauce, which gave us a true taste
of local cuisine. Our booking also included a complimentary breakfast, so we never had to worry
about food during our stay. Honestly, this was one of the most spectacular Airbnb views we've ever
experienced. Photos don't do it justice. It's even more breathtaking in person. So if you're looking
for a unique roundhouse experience that will take your breath away, Rock Garden Homestay is the place
to be.
Hotel De La Cupol is ranked as the number one hotel in Sapa, and with thousands of five-star
reviews, we couldn't miss it for the world. Location-wise, you can't beat it. Nestled right
in the heart of Sapa, it's walking distance from the best restaurants and shops, and it's directly
connected to the fancy pan tram, making it super convenient for exploring one of Sapa's most popular
attractions. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were blown away. It was like entering a
world where 1800s French art meets highland culture. Imagine an art gallery filled with charming
vintage pieces, haute couture decor, and antique trinkets. That's when we knew this hotel was gonna
be different. Upon check-in, their service was top-notch right from the start. We were welcomed
with hot chocolate and warm towels, a nice thoughtful touch, especially in Sapa's chilly
mountain climate. And even though we arrived earlier than the standard 2 p.m. check-in time,
they went above and beyond by letting us check in early at 12 noon, and our room was absolutely
stunning. We actually booked one of their more affordable rooms at $170 per night, and even that
exceeded our expectations. The design was a perfect blend of elegance and quirkiness, with vibrant
patterns, funky lighting, and playful lampshades, giving the space so much personality. And the beds
and pillows? Super plush and comfy, we didn't even want to get up. We also had our own spacious balcony
to breathe in the fresh mountain air. The bathroom followed the same bright and whimsical aesthetic,
down to the tiniest detail. Honestly, the room felt like a Pinterest board come to life. Now let's talk
about that pool. Yes, this one. This is hands down Vietnam's most beautiful swimming pool, and that's
not an exaggeration. Surrounded by magnificent statues, elegant lanterns, and lavish pool beds,
the vibe was pure luxury. Standing next to the towering sculptures made us feel tiny, adding to
the grandeur of the experience. The pool was majestic, you have to see it for yourself. And
thankfully, our booking came with breakfast. So what does a five-star breakfast buffet look like?
Set on the highest floor with soaring ceilings, the breakfast room felt like a grand hall, straight
out of a French-inspired dream. The buffet had it all, savory dishes, fresh juices, Vietnamese coffee,
and an irresistible spread of breads and desserts. And let's not forget the premium selections, like
steak and smoked salmon. The best part? You can keep going back for more, nobody's judging. Now just
outside the breakfast hall, you'll find some of the most Instagrammable spots in the hotel. Whether
it's on the bridge, in front of the dome, or anything framed by that stunning mountain backdrop,
there's no shortage of photo opportunities here. Hotel De La Cupol is not just a hotel,
it's an experience. It lives up to its reputation as Sapa's number one hotel. Sure it's a splurge,
but it's worth every penny. If you're planning a trip to Sapa, we'll leave the hotel link in the
description below. Just pack your best OOTDs, book your stay, and prepare to be amazed.
Next on our list is the Link Farmstay, a charming budget-friendly homestay starting at just $13 for
two. Yep, you heard that right, only $13 with a breathtaking view. Our room had a cabin-style vibe
with brick walls, wooden accents, and tribal patterned sheets that added a nice artistic touch.
It was oh so cute and oh so cozy. And trust me, you'll be thanking the heavens for this bed warmer,
because Sapa can get super duper chilly in the winter. The location is about a 10-minute drive
from the town center, so it's not exactly in the middle of the action, but if you're after a
peaceful affordable escape with a pretty view, this place is ideal. Plus, getting into town is super
easy. Rides cost only two to three dollars one way, and you can easily book a grab taxi to pick
you up right at the homestay. If you'd rather stay in, the homestay has an in-house restaurant
serving light meals and snacks. Plus, every booking includes a free breakfast to kickstart
your day. You can choose either hot noodle soup, toast with eggs, or banana pancakes, and there's
nothing better than enjoying your meal on the terrace while soaking in those pretty mountain
views. Overall, the Link Farmstay is an absolute steal at just $13 for two. For those on an even
tighter budget, they also offer dormitory beds for $2 per night, making it a great option for
backpackers or anyone planning a longer stay. Sure, it's missing some fancy amenities, but for
the price, it's hard to beat. If you're looking for a super cheap getaway in Sapa, we'll leave
the homestay link in the description below. Now up next is one of the most stunning hotels we've
ever stayed in, but before we dive into hotel number three, let's do something exciting. Check this out.
Aside from all the beautiful stays, Sapa is known for so many cool tourist spots, and we want to help
you explore it in the best way possible. So we have a separate video on our YouTube channel called

and the best food to eat. We also give you a five-day sample itinerary and budget breakdown,
so you can get an idea of how much a Sapa trip could cost. So just click this video on our
YouTube channel for the best and most informative Sapa travel guide the internet has ever seen.
But for now, I think it's time we move on to our next hotel. Let's go.
Now it's time to talk about the viral hotel in Sapa, Pistachio Hotel. If you've been scrolling
through TikTok for Sapa hotels, chances are you've seen this iconic mini jacuzzi with a stunning
mountain backdrop. Pistachio Hotel is a four-star hotel located in the city center, and upon check-in
they welcomed us with a soothing hot cinnamon tea, the perfect start to our stay. We actually requested
the room with the best view, and they delivered. Our superior mountain view room overlooked the
famous monorail of Sapa. The room itself was very spacious, blending modern luxury with traditional
charm. Dark wood furnishings gave it a classy vibe, while the tribal patterned sheets added a local
touch. It came equipped with a flat screen TV, free coffee and tea, and a bathtub for indoor
relaxation. But most importantly, waking up to this view was surreal. On clear days the mountains
stretch endlessly, but even on foggy days the mist adds a dreamy magical touch to the scenery. And
let's not forget the star of the show, the outdoor pool jacuzzi. Even though we visited during the
winter, yes the water was freezing. We couldn't resist taking a dip for the experience, and of
course for the video. But if the weather doesn't cooperate, don't worry. They also have an indoor
pool and a gym, so there's always something to enjoy. The free breakfast was another highlight.
The buffet had a wide variety of options, catering to every palate, and we may or may not have gone
back for several rounds of their yogurt. It was just that good. For a four-star hotel, the price
was shockingly reasonable at just $66 per night for two persons. It checks all of the boxes, amazing
amenities, stunning views, a prime location, a delicious breakfast buffet, and all at an incredible
price. For a classy yet affordable four-star hotel stay, Pistachio Hotel is a no-brainer.
Have you ever dreamed of staying smack right in the middle of a rice field? S Plus Bungalow offers
the ultimate back-to-nature experience. Located about 30 minutes from Sapa's main town, the
distance is actually part of the charm. You trade the city noise and constant buzz of motorbikes
for fresh air and endless rice fields. We booked the premium bungalow priced at $45 for two.
The interiors combine modern design with cultural touches, featuring warm wooden accents, bamboo
chairs, and a bamboo coffee table. The bungalow also included a private terrace, perfect for
enjoying some fresh air and watching the carabaos eat their breakfast. One of its standout features
was the cute wooden hot tub in the bathroom. Even though there's no swimming pool, this hot tub makes
up for it, especially on a cold day. For those who want to immerse even more in nature, there's a
stunning wooden platform right outside that stretches over the green harvest. It's an ideal
spot for a short stroll or to sit while admiring the fields of green. Our booking also included
free breakfast, where we chose a delicious bowl of hot pho to pair with the chilly weather. Sure,
S Plus Bungalow doesn't come with a long list of amenities, but its charm lies in the unique
experience of staying amidst the rice fields. This is the perfect place to disconnect.
If you're craving more of a homey experience, Sapa Farmstay should be at the top of your list.
This family-run Airbnb brings a personal touch that only a loving family could provide. We booked
their charming dome-shaped villa with a plant-covered roof, priced at just $38, good for two.
It had a rustic yet cultural vibe, and its unique spherical design gave it so much character. The
interiors were simple, with subtle tribal patterns on the sheets and natural materials blending
together. And the cute window desk offered a peaceful spot to work with a serene view.
The room had all the essentials to keep us comfortable, including bathrobes, an air conditioner
slash heater, and complimentary coffee and tea. And the bathroom, tucked right behind the bedroom,
featured patterned walls and a gorgeous stone sink that gave it a rustic charm we absolutely loved.
And now the infinity pool. Absolutely stunning. Unfortunately, the rainy weather kept us from
diving in, but I can just imagine how incredible it would be on a sunny day. Even with the mist,
the view from our villa was pure magic. When it comes to food, the host family can prepare fresh,
delicious local dishes for you. We ordered their grilled chicken in mango sauce, and chicken
noodles, both of which were amazing. Free breakfast was also included in our booking. And while we had
options to choose from, they went above and beyond and practically served us everything.
From yogurt with fresh fruits, to a fluffy omelette, to chocolate banana pancakes, and hot
coffee and tea to pair with it. The overall vibe of Sapa Farmstay was very homey. Something you can't
always get from a five-star hotel, but something only a family can provide. So those were the top
seven most beautiful accommodations to book in Sapa. There are a few other options that we would
love to have stayed, like the Viet Trekking Hotel or the Lado Homestay, but unfortunately they were
fully booked during our visit. This just gives us another reason to go back. So if you're planning a
trip to Sapa, be sure to click the links down below if you want to book these beautiful accommodations.
