Good morning guys, welcome to brand new daily juice and welcome to The desert we'll explain very soon while we're sat on a sofa in the desert Good morning guys, I feel like I don't feel like i'm about to Tell you a story i'm not but what i am about to do is tell you what we're up to today And i'm so excited when we booked to come to dubai heading into the desert was something that I was most keen on doing Um something that I was most looking forward to and today we are doing just that we're getting picked up in about 30 minutes In some range rovers and we're driving into the desert for like a full afternoon and evening of just like Really really insane stuff a company called platinum heritage are taking us on their platinum desert safari There's a link below if you want to go and check it out. Honestly the things we're getting up to today We've got a falcon show. We're going to see some animals in this conservation reserve in the desert How many times can I say desert i'm so excited it feels hot already today You can feel from this window. I'm staying at two seasons hotel here in dubai Woken up this incredible view this morning, but hopefully it's not as hot as it was yesterday outside It's currently the middle of the dubai summer So we actually picked probably the worst summer year to come To dubai if we can handle this. I feel like we can handle any heat I'm, so excited and I can't wait to take you guys along with us All right guys, we've just been picked up in the most comfiest ranger ever this this is insane this is a new model, right? Yeah, yeah the newest model. This is so nice. It's so so comfy. So luxurious. We've got so much room here Uh big armrest we are heading about an hour away. Oh, yeah, lucy needs to say the name of place Right. Yes Okay, i'm rolling the tongue quite well They've given us here Um a little gift. This is the name of the company by the way that we're using today platinum heritage And in here we've actually got our menu for dinner already. Yes, there's some choices for your meal tonight And then you can pick so here we are Looks delicious and then there's a little Menu selection so you can sit in the back and just pick what you fancy And then that goes straight to the chef Chocolate, oh nice Chocolate made with a camel milk. Really? Oh, wow Oh, look at that. It is. That's awesome. That's like the lindt bunnies but a dubai version. Yeah Love it. We got our trusty driver with us today and our guide. We'll get to the desert Oh We've just come to the camel hospital, yeah, we've just been told they do camel racing here. Yeah Right here one sold for 8 million right that's 1.7 million pounds. Wow for one camel They've got a hospital there where they get looked after very well We've just made it to the desert now, it's super hot but it's it's actually quite a nice It feels like a different kind of heat from yesterday I guess because we're in the desert and not surrounded by buildings There's these old land rovers here as well, which is super cool. This is awesome I've never been in a desert or even seen a desert Brand new experience for us and we're gonna get gonna get kitted up now You're more handsome now, yeah You need to watch him. Yeah I will There we go kit it up we are ready to go yeah green is always good for you my nails are green so Yeah These are so cool these they've got some land rovers here from the 40s, so we're gonna have a quick look now amazing Okay, so we're getting a little bit of special treatment here today i'm gonna get gonna get taken for a short ride In this one, which is amazing. It's from the 1940s So crazy how you can see the new range rovers here and then the classic ones Just see how far everything's come within the same kind of brand. It's unbelievable The desert One thing they do have to do wow, this sand is hot that's crazy One thing they do have to do with these range rovers is actually deflate the tires. You can hear it now before Yeah, you can hear in the background before we go on the sand Um, because I think that gives it a bit more grip it allows it to roll across the sand a lot more easily Wow the first guest on our tour today, that's great. I've never seen that Wow No, but this animal see, uh, this is the national animal of the ua Oh, wow, and these animals they can resist with the heat. Yeah, 50 60 degree. They can resist And this animal almost disappeared in 1970 The human they used to hunt these animals and they use the horns Against the malaria they use this cane to make like sandals Yeah, and they used to drink the blood when they have a bite scorpion snake bite Wow, when we opened the dcr it was only 75 hours, but now there is more than 700 dollars What do you think your first desert experience? Yeah, and the gazelle they can resist without water up to three months This is amazing so we've got desert forever Let's do like a 360. Yeah, i'm just gonna show you guys how vast This place is There literally is just sand all around us amazing. We're in the middle of the desert It's so hot as well. It's five o'clock now already. Yeah, it's like evening time, but it's still so hot If you can swim up to three meters, you can see the tracks, right? Can you see that? Oh, yeah A sandfish a lizard has made these tracks Goes right away. It makes land That's crazy, okay, I cannot put my hand inside because I don't know what it's doing So we're now Going to see a falcon show. Thank you very much They've got this really cool Area set up over here Wow, it's peaceful. It's very very quiet. We're pretty much the only people I can see the lady getting the falcon ready Look at this area this for a desert desert living room Yeah That's amazing. Where do you want to sit? Right in the middle the best seats. Yeah. Oh wow, it's echoey in here. So this little guy's name is regna. He's still a baby He's about one years old. Here's some water. We're sat on a Nice sofa enjoying some drinks Soft drinks, of course because we're in dubai and some strawberries Wow, the camels have just arrived. That's so cool. They just came right over the deck. Wow, there's loads We've been given some some nice snacks here. We've got like a caviar and salmon Vegetable and a beef steak Whoa, there you go Now you need to hold tight with both hands See you in abidabi exactly So we're on a camel ride now George is behind me. You put another mate next to you as well. He's trying to overtake you And the sun's just setting. This is incredible Extremely comfortable camel ride. Never thought i'd say that but um There's like a really big padding and we're just kind of sat in between two humps. Are we? I think oh, no, maybe there's only one hump I'm, not too sure And we arrived Just like that It looks like we've just taken these but no we did We did take the camels. We just arrived here. We've come out to a restaurant tonight that we haven't tried before Um, I hear they do really good dessert It has good reviews. I think Don't just don't just oh, oh that's good. He's got his kitchen set up over here We'll show in a minute absolutely incredible day in the range rovers seeing the wild animals in the sand. It's good here because they don't do It's good This isn't good, but it is good that they don't do dune bashing here. Yes, they're very much about reserving the nature here and the Environment and this is the only tool that goes into this reserve as well, which is incredible. Yeah, very very exclusive It's very luxurious and dune bashing actually I didn't know this but there's like is it 90 percent or something of the animals in the desert are in the sand? And all like the uh plants and stuff just get completely ruined and they just get totally destroyed or killed. Yeah So i'm glad we didn't do that. I'm glad we chose for sure now We've got our own private we just showed you private little thing for dinner. So we're having steak amazing day. Wow. What a day So it's evening time here now, what time is it I haven't kept track of time all day Guess what time it is? I would say eight o'clock 20 to eight. Oh, that's good. Not bad Um, and it's still like it's pitch with getting very dark. It's almost pitch black the moon's up But it's still so hot like the table just feels hot Cutlery's hot everything's just so warm, isn't it? Yeah, it's like This heat's something i've never felt like this hot we sat down now for a six course meal Um, I don't think these nuts I guess a seven course including these nuts here Um, and we've got a what was it lemon and mint juice just here That's so thick. It's like a goblet. It's like game of thrones. It's so fresh. Try that you'll love that. It's like a mojito so we had a nice soup for our We had we had canapes we had halloumi we had truffles we had oysters they are treating us well here We had soup and now we have salad. So technically we're already on our sixth course today I think this is only the second technically this menu i've got a fig and cheese salad and george has a chicken Not a whole chicken chicken salad Duck, isn't it? That's your starter, isn't it? Oh, wait, there's salad and starter Wow It's really nice looking chicken salad here food here is so good How do they have this good food in the desert? This is only the starters It's kind of cool now it's got dark Everything's you suddenly realize that you're in a desert With a few No, but with a few other people Oh cast some light, please Oh, that's better with a few other people. But guys the star of the show is here our main course tonight beautiful looking steak Australian angus steak with vegetables mashed potato and gravy Thanks so much but before I eat my steak We have something very interesting to try camel Now apparently they only serve camel here on very very special occasions to very very special guests And they consider us special guests. So they've prepared us Some camel meat. What did he say? It was like Beef, yes, it was like beef a little bit nervous. That's good. That is like beef genuinely Or it is beef and he's been joking to us the whole day and we're here like trying beef. No, I think that is camel It's good
