BACK TO PHILIPPINES, Planning Our Future!

good morning guys welcome to the vlog and welcome to what looks to be fingers crossed luckily thankfully a sunny day here in Tokyo is about 9 a.m. off to start work today heading to a coffee shop to edit up the vlog got some stuff to sort out some emails all that sort of thing that we do behind the scenes Lucy still back at the hotel room I'm heading out to get head start on the vlog get some coffee I'm gonna try a new coffee spot we've been editing Starbucks the last couple of days which we really don't like wheat Starbucks is fine the coffee isn't great for our tastes personally but they have Wi-Fi power everything we need to edit and stuff so it's fine but yesterday Mike found a new coffee spot so we're gonna try that today Lucy's put it in my Lucy's put it in my Google Maps ok it's working still but as soon as I leave the hotel I don't have into that but somehow Google Maps does still work it shows me moving along so I think I can get to this coffee shop you know you need to get back in the gym when you have to put the camera down because your arm starts aching I've been in the gym for a long time soon as we're back in Manila that is happening we fly to Manila in a few days we should probably update you guys gonna go green there we go green man yeah well update you guys on the plan as soon as we know the plan because Lucy and I after today sit down and look a flight out of the Philippines everytime you go to the Philippines they don't let us board our flight into the country until we have a flight also booked out of the country they need to see onward travel even if we're extending visas are staying longer or whatever they still need to see that they still need to see that onward flight so we need to do that we then need to decide where we're going after if there's any way you guys want to see us explore please let us know because we're very very very much up to for suggestions on other countries to visit other cities islands towns places wherever so do vlog edited have a coffee later on we're meeting Lucy's friend Emily who lives in Tokyo she works at Disneyland Lucy knows her from college in Brighton so it's crazy that they're both here in Tokyo so we're going to see her later for some some drinks I think I'm gonna go with some work then we'll meet Lucy and we'll get on with the day also look what just came up on my screen [Music] [Music] blog or edited instagrams edited planning not even started the internet guide on the cafe as we had all the flight websites open and we're heading back to hotel now quickly just to sit and plan we're trying to get a little bit more on top of flight bookings because right now morning by the way right now the situation is that we've got flight back to Manila in a couple of days time we need flight somewhere and flight somewhere else out of the Philippines where to get into the Philippines and we haven't really got much planned at all for the rest of the year so we want to try and maybe plan the next few months which is unusual for us I don't know if it's gonna happen or not or I feel kind of keep it fairly flexible but we're gonna try and book a few flights today just so we've got more of an idea and it's something off of the list of things to do once we know where we're going it doesn't mean with planning what it's doing the places or booking hotels it's purely just masking out roughly where they're gonna be yeah and it's so we're so incredibly grateful now that we have managed to build a lifestyle that we can choose where we spend our time looking of where to go and stuff and different options and all not stressing over it we were like okay we need to plan something because the days are ticking by and we have many flights booked then we our way we realize that we're sat here choosing we're choosing where we can spend our time yeah is mad and we're very grateful for it and be you guys for watching these videos supporting us yeah the plan for later is we're gonna head and see it did you really say my friend Emily and her boyfriends and she's messaged me a little bar that we're gonna go see it probably got really nice views and two-for-one between five and seven tonight one drink so very excited she actually works yeah she actually works [Music] I'll say again I'll reiterate she worked at Disneyland here which is amazing she used to work at the Paris one and then now she's moved to Tokyo I haven't seen her for about you work out maybe four years she was in my for my and I don't know what you call it from what country whatever country you're from but form group is like in college the group you sort of register with and then you go off to separate classes so we didn't really have classes together but we were in the same form in college for one year and I haven't seen her since then but it's so weird that our reunions gonna be the other side of the world in Japan in Tokyo cruise yeah I'm not wait to see her really excited and then later we're going to be heading to a fish market with million Mike and what was his telling us which was that way I might was just telling us that apparently this kind of bring my mind a little bit there's a fish there the puffer fish that they serve only like a handful of people can do this in the whole world are trained enough because it actually kills like quite a few people each year and so if there's at the liver the skin and one other thing and I can't remember our poison as quite heavily heavily highly poisonous and if the chef prepares it an axe accidentally touches the liver or prepares it slightly wrong where the poison then gets into but you're eating then you just die and it's that lethal it's it's mental that people actually eat that and they pay like 100 euros for it as well because how trained the chef has to be to be a preparer I really hope you're a king it's not good a bit mad but that's the thing yeah and I think you get that any you just be poisoned by normal food I mean yeah chicken flick like you so we're about to go out for the evening I'm so trace on my nice prey yeah we just spent hours and hours planning and booking flights we've put like five flights credit card got blocks at one point we put so many yeah then I had to I couldn't send a text to the credit card company saying that it was me and it was all okay because I didn't have protection calls on my phones had to change my sim there not to get hold of my mobile phone provider in the UK through live chat on the laptop to say can you lift my restriction so I can text my bank to tell them that I can actually use my own card to book my flight I do appreciate the fraud protection that it's yeah good thing so now we can say that we are officially booked up with flop only international flights August however we haven't booked for him any domestic like internal flights on our country we haven't been this planned ever no October maybe I guess any too much house August in two months anyway we're heading out now using my Philippines this is what I'm using the moment I bought this in the Philippines ask the guy in the shop what was what the best seller was and he said this is so case not the best I've ever had but it does the job it's good to travel with oh yeah only four hundred and fifty pesos Filipino paisa anyway [Music] she managed to find the building that we're meeting Emily n who's going to show us the Lighting's pretty bad here who's going to show us up to the right is it a rooftop Bars at a bar on one of the look at this building no we happen it's really nice I'm ready for a pre birthday drink George lastly tomorrow when this video comes out it's already joins about to go over and comment on his Instagram and come on this video now leave a comment guys I love with your nose I also quite effusions on it just say goodbye to Emily in names so nice speed in London is so nice so nice like we haven't had like friends from the UK a night with friends from UK for ages and then we'll see them again soon then we were like no we won't because they live in Tokyo and we don't it was a bit sad I never got sad yeah we want to hang out with them more never mind never mind I think we're gonna have to some food now the plan was to go to the fish market tonight however I regret to inform you that the fish market is very much closed tonight which is kind of sad but it's all good but this area is so nice isn't there it's like skyscrapers everywhere it was kind of like a PGCE vibe yeah it's crazy we'll work it out we have the best view of Tokyo that we've had yet in the city definitely they let me go over here look at that for some vlog lighting we had the best view hopefully you saw I had to get told off for putting the camera on a table and trying to get like a time-lapse and stuff the waiter told me off and then he looked very angry and then he cleaned the table really hard well this cameras like not a death it doesn't look dirty it looks very black and normal and he was like really making a scene to like scrub it was a nice place maybe I shouldn't put the camera down on some random table to get a shot okay food then hotel we're walking along this like overpass over the road which is it's all lit up it's quite good actually it's quite good that you don't I don't know where we are this area's different but you don't have to cross the roads at all no one crosses the roads here again this way I'm talking like I'm talking like a bridge is a new invention I know it's not I'm quite impressed that it's so easy to get to get around you don't have to get anywhere near the road [Music] see if there's any birthday comments coming through yet there are quite a few actually so thank you very much I'm not really no stay away if you do leave me a quite commitment we made a decision in our lives which is a big decision one of the biggest decisions we've made recently and that is to start Game of Thrones on the beginning season 1 episode 1 2011 it came out in our 2018 to need some more lighting and I just kind of wanted to see if it work but no it's fine ok so we've never watched Game of Thrones everybody talks about it and Ellie Michael watching here so we we've decided to dive in and watch start Game of Thrones so I think we managed well I managed to less than one episode last night before falling asleep because I get so tired because we were literally up early editing you guys know the drill filming all day going out exploring seeing stuff traveling doing all the fun stuff coming back and then it's time for sleep so I manage like 40 minutes before I fell asleep so it's going to take us a while to watch eight seasons six thanks hey other things a we doing so thanks for watching today's vlog I hope you liked follow
