AMAZING VIGAN, Philippines! British Couple First Impressions

[Music] look at this we're both wearing white it's bright it's sunny it's a final day in Baguio good morning guys we're leaving Baguio today we're off to vegan which was very very sociable again like is in lucky if someone who doesn't eat Oh last night how we say it that's not how we pronounce it you know like this again began vegan eigen I can still see the bonfire last night yesterday it was so much fun the people the only space arranged a bonfire and a barbecue for us we've had an amazing stay here like waking up to the this view these mountains this place been great we've got balcony we have the grill we've got a huge work in it there's a better way to show you this place this is juice blog rental balcony area if your morning run [Music] - look at that I thought the master was going to be there yes this is good kitchen area that comes with its own le eye and a gas hole twin bedroom then a dorm room kind of thing so you've got one two three four beds yeah and that concludes and that concludes that useful [Music] Mike this morning has very expertly packed up the car and now we have room for all the bags we were struggling before but look at this is this is a work of art my friend very very impressive I am an engineer of my own demise very true very true right off for some breakfast it can't go over this weather this morning I love bagger because it's nice and cool like Manila was yeah I mean it was so burning hot that we've got this nice cool breeze coming off the mountains and the South Downs are just like loads of heroes and go for walks and stuff and it's loaded different like landscapes like this is less houses on it and yeah look the temperature feels more like England as well it's like really fresh air it doesn't feel like it's nice like city pollution it just feels really fresh yeah if you are interested in staying here highly recommend it and there's an Airbnb link in the description of this video you can we've got a 25 pound off link before you guys if you want to use that as well I think we all had one too many Red Horse last night so we need some breakfast we need some coffee desperately let's go guys guys guys with our setup the morning coffee was so needed today for all of us we set upstairs today this time we're back at cafe by the ruins where we were yesterday all getting our vlogs edited all getting working here while we still got internet because internet in North Philippines can be a problem so we don't know what the situation is going to be like once we get into vegan so we're making the most of the facilities here everyone's working hard it's a working breakfast this morning got a breakfast here plenty of fuel to the driver head today I think it's about three hour drive today so not too bad delicious breakfast to finish and we're gonna hit the road again soon but I just want to say I know I said it in yesterday's vlog about the kindness of people however the two guys who were with last night they were just so so friendly I feel like I didn't say it enough in yesterday's vlog because maybe we had to work one too many red horses but they literally offered to make us breakfast today we said we'll eat blue you were planning to leave early we didn't we might be up early at 6 a.m. they were like yeah that's fine I can get up early we were no no it's Sunday it's fine retro they cooked all the food for us on the barbecue like we were expecting that we didn't expect them to like be chefs for us we invited them to come and sit with us and eat eat some food together we cut up with a pork and diffused our hands and we're sharing it all I went to the shop and got more beers and then we're drinking beer with us and it was just such such a special evening and again like it's not if you think of like what's to baguio and you can think of all the mentors that was just special just getting the barbecue the guitar just looking at the stars and the amazing backdrop and it's just really really nice evening just the kindest kindest people so I'm always overwhelmed so we come esta Philippines I'm always overwhelmed by the kindness really it's something I've never known it anywhere else in the world to be this kind anyway back on the road Lucky's looking lovely although he's a little bit dirty [Music] so we just we just started to drive again and we've been driving through of Baguio and it's opened up but it's incredible like drawn we had to stop we have to stop and pull over to fly the drone because it's just such a great opportunity the thumbs out you can deceive the miles just like each side of the road there's like a huge drop and it's just incredible made so so cool but there's no point in talking about it what I could just show you [Music] it's stopped off on route we've just picked up well we just filled up the car with a full full tank of fuel and we're trying to pick up some snacks and a little set eleven air hi thank you and then all we're gonna get we're gonna get some nuts or something taking my house somehow it's gonna look crazy so it don't know what has happened we went into a 7-eleven to pick up some some nuts or some healthy snacks and some reason we ended up buying with chocolate they've got really out of control and we've just sat here and demolished Toblerone M&Ms everything oh good energy right I don't regret anything no regret they've got a slight issue toll roads require payment in cash and we spent all our cash in 7-eleven on chocolate 600 pairs us at 7-eleven at least we come down the hallway the wing [Music] all right so I'm not sure where we are exactly but some of these roads are absolutely incredible we've been driving for a little while now maybe like three or four hours it feels like wow I'm nice this cars full of surprises we've been really really enjoying the car we're in some windy roads the roads are pretty empty we're going through these mountains sunsets coming up it's just a lovely lovely drive up to vegan [Music] the best part of having our own wheels is that if we see something we want to stop for and turn around we can do that you do it yeah keep system we've just freaked out we saw the thing that's a palm tree so we're like yeah Israel is that we're thing he's gonna get start guys I'm sorry yeah [Music] [Music] [Music] guys this is amazing this is so beautiful there's a huge palm tree this is literally it feels like a little pocket of paradise in the fifth like normal town it's normal Street there's like people's house the other side and then there's this random little bit almost like meant for us there's just palm trees incredible sunset and the waters just like this pale blue colors let's go take a closer look it's amazing I remember this on the last road trip where we could just stop off whenever we wanted well if we see something nice the main road noises ruin a little bit but oh wow this is incredible oh wow some locals just chilling on the beach watching the sunset just over here enjoying enjoying their back garden of essentially Wow yeah I suddenly so peaceful there's like a big main road behind us but when there's no cars this is great just 100 minutes from you I think we're bound hour away from vegan we've been asking for some restaurant recommendations on Instagram so thank you to anyone who submitted some of those and guys if you ever want to just message us or give us this is really cool we're driving through these small cobbled streets the buildings look like almost European and yeah really nice atmosphere as loads of people out with trying to find a parking space right now for waggy for the vlog swaggins proving I may be here yeah proving a little bit difficult but this looks really cool we'll show you around the small streets in a second we're going to go to a restaurant that's been recommended further back yeah excited to show you because this is this looks really cool okay so we found a parking space for waggy finally and this looks really cool like look at these signs leaving city this is public markets kind of reminded me of like European style look at this this is reminding me of Lisbon or something wow this is so cool Wow this next next road trip vehicle again nice this is what we need next time this definitely has a completely different vibe feels like a very Spanish yeah it feels like very kind of Spanish influence in terms of the architecture buildings roads these place you have so I don't know if you can fly here or not but we're just saying I don't know if many tourists come here if they don't live can I close by - Drive - yeah we love your suggestion if they've come to Kathy Leone from your recommendation and by the looks of it you can see outside and it really like I feel like I've done this in Spain and Italy and places in Europe where you just get it's just here you're walking too far and just outside on a little table and there's normally like some music playing something it really reminds it's so crazy like it looks so this place looks so different to all the little talented past on the way here I figured it this kind of looks similar to that that not look down there looks so cool nice I'm so hungry none of us anticipated that this is what vegan would look like I don't think we saw some photos on Instagram and stuff but this is really cool really nice evening Vipers Lucy just said oh we lost Mike he's already eating his food cafe Leona recommendation from you guys this where we're having dinner and then I guess after dinner oh he's there he's got a table already sweet and then I'm guessing after dinner we could take a stroll down here so it looks like there's some cool stuff going on a really nice atmosphere behind me not really see just down the street there but for now we really need some food [Music] got a friend there Mike yeah always there's a few things on here that are like specialities or beacon not for vegans I think we're saying this right but it's quite a flake hard to say about they mediate between vegan not even right so Bank net long and visa unique upset yep you know yeah sausage pink abet how'd you know [Music] [Music] the food survived the scene this place seems to specialize in Japanese food it looks pretty good I'm digging now but we were just looking at things to do tomorrow and tell him that comes up or not it's actually the street right now and I shopping and stuff there's also something involves like making jars we've not run into a tmartn we might just drive there tomorrow and kind of see what it's about maybe is it like a jar factory but it could be lots of fun so we're just doing it we're just going even better we love for you so I've gone for calzone here which is it it's huge it's just why I need it today after pretty much a full day in the car not a lot of food we had like average sized breakfast this morning and then ate some M&Ms some Toblerone and some other nuts and stuff so we haven't really had a proper meal so in here we've got mozzarella some longer needs some ham some mushroom sin tomato sauce Balinese as well a little bit of Parmesan cheese on the top nice kind of bread around the edge I mean I actually believe how much this feels like European city break sort of thing all the like little souvenir shops in the stone buildings and stuff we on purpose didn't look up this place before we came because we like surprises and I really didn't crazy to look at it we're gonna head back to the car now and check into our Airbnb we'll show you one it's more I think it's just one room for the four of us and it's not
