British Couple Try FILIPINO LECHON STREET FOOD in Cebu!

[Music] I knew to think out that no human attended good evening God thinking this is a Boracay this isn't the white sand beach and you would be right we're not in Boracay we left this morning we've had a full travel day today which involved a van a ferry a plan another bad a plane a taxi which finally boss to this hotel we're actually in Cebu we've got one night in Cebu we've just dropped our bags and we've been told we have to check out this food market soup-bone Mikado food market and to be honest if you've got one night anywhere in the world what better way to spend it then go and eat try the local food and it's actually recommended to us my new friends Delia my Crombie making it happen a blog and they were like you guys you have to go here it's really good food and we're super hungry so perfect I'm actually quite lucky because this markets only open on like three days a week about three nights a week always got a great dog it's perfect timing cause we don't actually know a nose open we looked on Facebook earlier and he said if they've been tonight did not expect this I'm expecting like a popular local appear we've been to like food markets and night markets all over like Thailand Vietnam and they never looked like there so I set up these like somebody again London yeah let me jump it's like two moving and I thought with the person I'm excited to explore its mouth good what do you do do you just pick a few bits and then go sit in the middle me do you get one thing from every place no and then you've got and then you go home feeling really far so what we've learned from going to load the food market is that you shouldn't just pick the first thing that looks good and the first thing that you like the look off you should go around the whole place first and see exactly what is on offer otherwise you can fill up so easily I'm just saying that we can't just fill up on the first thing what so many probably like at least 30 [Music] Wow absolutely like queue that's always a good sign and we don't mind waiting for good food doing if you saw our next on video we tried it the first time the other day it was so good we haven't had it since so we suddenly saw this withdrawn - that's different so this is so cheap so for one pound or 75 paise those you get 100 grams of electron from rye and a drink we need this I'm excited about this price it's one power I like you guys don't understand it if you ever come to London kind of where near where we're from and there's something set up like this for a meal with some decent meats and a rice and it would be six or seven pounds for a similar thing we're way across like six or seven times the price at least up to probably 9 or 10 pounds 20 pesos Wow weighing out 100 grams okay you ready to tuck in I have a treat view yeah there's no cutlery today we got to eat with our hands the traditional way [Music] [Music] the skin is a lot of which one laughs at a lot think that it was a tradition I think why it's like milky color it's really sweet okay we're moving on to some sweet stuff now I wasn't a huge fan of that coconut thing I dunno why but there's an ice cream place there's a hallo hallo place we thought there was a place that did pancakes when we were in Thailand I was addicted to pancake to his banana and chocolate but it turns out it's the name of the company now she self sold me coffee cheesecake cups I think we have to get one of those Oh burn or fee all we have to get the coffee right I'm very should we get a coffee and a banoffee chocolate in our eye - how much I please have one coffee cupcake and one but not the cupcake thank you I've got like a little Christmas set up here is so Christmassy in the Philippines that right now is there if you piss me off before bed but then maid was like what are you doing and even like that's still quite early we've come just outside the market because the because the music's really loud in there so our motorbikes okay I'm going to try some slightly nervous because right next to this on the menu that I ordered do you know that is like that palette thing no what is it well I don't know for a fact but I'm pretty sure considering it was like a cake store I'm pretty sure this means is made of duck egg instead of chicken egg in the mixture yeah I don't know you've been long but I don't I really don't think that that
