And today we decided to ask the Muscovites how they feel about the climate in Russia. Let's go and ask! You can visit the Kurils and see a growing poplar tree, or go to Sakhalin and walk under huge poplars. These are subtropics. And here, for example, potatoes may not grow, because it is cold and bad. The climate in Russia is quite, you know, when you want to go somewhere for 9 months before winter to Thailand or Bali, so that there is sun. But when spring comes, it becomes more favorable. The weather in Russia at the end of March-beginning of April is really winter. The average monthly temperature is minus 2 degrees. It's cold, windy, but the first warm sun breaks through. There are myths that it's very cold here, it's just impossible, like in winter. What do you think? Well, I don't think it's a myth, it's true. It's really very cold here in winter. How do you feel? Is the climate quite mild in Moscow? Well, it's normal for us. We are used to this climate. In June it was harder for us. And in the north, I don't know, it wasn't. It's warm. Do you think it's warm? Well, it's warmer here than, let's say, in the north of Russia. I think the climate is better here. I'm quite satisfied with this climate. In general, do you like the climate in Russia? Russia is big. If we mean Moscow for Russia, we can get used to this climate. It's not the climate we would like to live in forever. It changes too often. The weather is changeable. You never know what to wear. Most of the time it's cold or very hot. Do you like the weather here? I don't like Moscow. You don't like it? It's cold here. It's winter. We don't have enough vitamins. I don't know. The sun is like the sun. Yes, of course, we would like it to be warmer. No, I don't like it. Why? Because 9-10 months a year is winter. If we compare the climate of Russia and the climate of other countries, the climate of Moscow, Russia is somewhere in the middle of Alaska. For example, the northern states, like Washington or Washington DC, are located in the wide area of Sochi. Do you have a dream climate? I don't know. To be honest, I can't think of one. I don't want it to be hot all the time. I don't know. Maybe in California it's hot. I don't know. Yes, I have a life of a dream. I would like to live in Moscow from May to October. And the rest of the time I would like to live somewhere in Thailand, or in India, or in Bali. Somewhere where there is no snow, and there is more sun. I lived in a warm country for two years. And when there is no winter for two years in a row, it is quite difficult for a Russian person. When there is a palm tree outside your window, and in fact it is New Year, a Russian person feels some kind of cognitive dissonance. Therefore, when there is sunny, snowy weather, and a mild frost, no more than minus 5, it is normal. You just need to dress warmly. There is no bad weather, only a person can dress wrongly. We are fine. Winter is not as cold as it used to be. Therefore, it is good. The climate is changing, right? Yes, it is changing. Would you like to move to another climate? No. In principle, you can go to Russia. I drove 300-400 kilometers to the south, and it is already warmer. I was in the Volgograd region, in the village. In the summer, the temperature reaches 40 degrees. On average, it is about 35 degrees. And in winter? In winter, it is usually a little colder. How much is it? I don't know, about 20 degrees. I don't know exactly how much it is in winter. My friend knows about other regions, because she is from the Krasnodar Territory. Well, in other regions, in the summer, for example, in the Krasnodar Territory, it is quite intense, because in Moscow, when it is 30 degrees, you understand that this is the peak point, and in Krasnodar it is probably 40 degrees. This is not the limit. But at the same time, there is a very mild winter. It can reach minus 5 or 0, or more often it is plus 6. Therefore, I have such a serious discomfort. Perhaps that is why it is difficult for me here, because I am not used to such serious changes in temperatures. What is the weather like in the north, in the south, in the west, in the east of the country? It depends on which north. In Yakutia, I saw a video, there it reached minus 55. In Central Asia, in the summer, it is very hot. In Crimea, next to the sea, there is a mild climate. In the Baltic, for example, in July, we thought it would be wonderful, and, as they say, warm. It was the Svetlogorsk-Kaliningrad region. Absolutely wonderful embankments, and very cold. It is determined by the fact that they have certain currents, certain air masses. I am not an expert, but everything is conditioned. For them, cool summer is hot summer. Of course, in Moscow, we all love summer most of all, when cafes open, when you can walk, ride a bike, sit on the street. Therefore, summer is a small life. It's too early, spring hasn't started yet. Do you remember yesterday? You were in Moscow, right? Yesterday the weather was very gray, it was raining, hail, snow, and everything was washed away. Today it is quite pleasant. Tomorrow it will be different. In April, it will be great. No, there will be no frost. It was promised on TV. On TV, everything that is promised, is always fulfilled. You know, the birds are chirping regularly in the morning. Therefore, no, it's definitely spring. Incomparably happy are those people whose climate is several times warmer than ours.
