British Couple with Friendliest Filipino Girls in El Nido!

morning we're off to el nido and we're so so excited it looks so cool from what we've seen online the bus is picking us up in 35 minutes we have time for a quick breakfast and we also have time for a very quick juicy vlog room tour luggage stories fire extinguisher sorry uh hello by the way tv that keeps losing signal plugs under here someone will put the camera and worry about it because it's kind of whistles off petals nice mirror table and chairs very good air conditioning a nice view of looks like the back of their kitchen out there wardrobe face toilet bathroom shower that kind of single beds that we've pushed together and i keep falling through the middle of the night this guy the phone that you just pick up and it calls reception so lazy and a nice yellow wall with some lines on it thanks for watching breakfast yes always check your hotel rooms guys before you leave because we very nearly left our wallet with our money passports credit cards driving license all that so we don't need these oreos do we no they're soggy there's always time for a quick cup of coffee time for a quick ice cream stop the drive is okay the roads are really really windy buses and that comfy we've got legroom we've got aircon and actually the views are really nice it's quite a nice scenic drive but we're doing okay halfway [Music] we made it to el nido the bus ride was fine we've dropped our bags at the hotel and we've come straight out for some food lucy found a little thai restaurant on google so blast from the past wow can't quite believe the view here that's amazing and to top it off bamboo straw like that a lot this is absolutely crazy i think this could be my favorite place we've been to already and we've only just arrived so when you're walking along this street you don't see the sea it's like buildings all the way inside so you're just walking along you literally walk up the stairs and then you see there it's ridiculous well there's a boat that's coming in now what time that'll be us tomorrow at least she will be at the same time we've got a couple of tours we've got a couple of tours but uh while we're here there's like a b c and d tours generally here and loads of different tour companies like do the same kind of tour so we've put tours a and c i think and we're doing one tomorrow and then one in a couple of days time but it's crazy like i cannot wait to get out here because i know that the places we go to on the tours are known as paradise but i don't know what could possibly be better than this like it's so nice actually looking out and obviously like if there's a beautiful water it'd be great but also having the mountains and stuff it's just gives it a bit of depth you know a little bit of depth we've ordered some curries and they look and smell absolutely insane other than the fly masaman and a yellow curry yum yum good views good food good vibe [Music] uh [Music] um [Music] you might be thinking george and lucy what are you doing it's late it's ten o'clock at night go to bed no we're going out for ice cream all right they're gonna judge us you know they're going to judge us right now oh my god is the hotel closed so we have a tour booked tomorrow morning which we're very excited about we're getting picked up at nine o'clock we're gonna go and explore el nido by boat which is the best way to see it hi um she's a big fan of the videos but we thought there's always time to come out for some ice cream so that is what we're doing this is number one of three dessert restaurants here and it looks really popular it's busy go for it they've got so many nice flavors so you can't really see it [Applause] [Music] so i changed my mind i've actually gone for a prep with nutella banana thailand vibes that looks good that is melting rapidly and the other side she's making my crepe it's on the way there it is there it goes there's so much chocolate is it can i try some place oh come on you're so mean [Music] this is so good lucy is also very happy with the music choices [Music] [Music] lucy was shazaming all those songs uh whilst we were in there that was so funny those girls were hilarious that was brilliant i want to go there again obviously we were like same show uh tomorrow night and then yeah yeah yeah i find it a dream come up there wisdom oh you were like this close to going up and dancing with them we're back at the hotel room now we're pretty pleased with this hotel of course we will give you a juicy vlog room tour oh yeah we haven't blocked in here yeah not really one of the great things is they give you two pillows which is so rare sometimes in loads of these hotels it's so small because we've got an extra bed oh yeah so we have like three pillows each if we want we're gonna head off to bed soon we're getting picked up at nine in the morning we're actually gonna 8 30. 8 30 so we are so excited tomorrow tomorrow's vlog vlog's going to be insane we're going to explore some of the beaches of el nido that you can only access by boat obviously because the beach so we're going to chill now we're actually going to watch a little bit of netflix which um which we do occasionally i mean sometimes we're out late and stuff and we come home and just crash but we do feel like it's important to give ourselves a bit of escapism bit of a bit of entertainment a bit of lighthearted stuff just before going to bed which is quite nice which leads me on to actually mentioning a company we're working with at the moment called pro xpn these guys have been great for us they got in touch a little while ago and they set us up with an account they're basically a vpn service so vpn is a virtual private network it makes sure your data online is secure it allows you to access websites which are blocked which has been so handy for us it's like when we're in cambodia we can get on netflix and stuff um the daily mail is blocked randomly in loads of countries so their service is letting us access those websites wherever we are which is so so cool means we can chill in bed and watch netflix at the end of a long day so what do you want to watch we haven't even finished oranges only black we haven't watched that since like july yeah we need there's a final season coming out soon is there final while they've said it's finally on facebook yeah basically this company gave us like um a username and login just to try out uh see what we thought of it for a few weeks um because as you guys know we'd never work with a company that we genuinely didn't find value in and didn't believe that their services would come of use to both us and hopefully you guys as well so they have been kind enough to sponsor this video and and we're really excited working with them aren't we yeah definitely so for us travelling it's so so handy we didn't even know we wouldn't be able to get on netflix it was so frustrating and we thought all right we'll sit down we'll put it on couldn't so it's really good timing pro xbn getting in touch with yes the other thing about vpn it secures your network so say you're in a coffee shop or a cafe or something you're connecting to public wi-fi it often says like unsecure network are you sure you want to join and it's a bit everyone's like yeah go ahead i want free wi-fi yeah but then if you have like online banking on your laptop online banking on your phone you know private stuff prop documents anything if there's a hacker there's a guy with some computer knowledge like sat at the other side of the coffee shop and we've just kind of been learning about this he can actually access your files you can access your online banking like it's stuff in the cloud like we store things in the cloud and someone could easily look not easily but like probably easy for them isn't it yeah get into it so we're suddenly like whoa um pro and have been educating us which is so so cool because online security is far more important than we kind of thought we knew it's important but um and relevant when you're traveling as well yeah because when you're traveling you are you're connecting to what my hair goes on yeah when you're traveling you're connecting to different wi-fi spots all over the place and you don't know who is lurking on these networks um a vpn put it really simply the way pro xp and explain it is it's like a tunnel and there's the internet it's all going crazy and it's kind of like your own private network um it's a form of encryption basically so all the data that you send through while you're connected to the vpn um it's encrypted it's safe after learning more about this online security stuff we're definitely gonna carry on using the vpn um because you don't want any nasty surprises coming up and it's like something that maybe you should consider like having a look into yourselves just thinking like what am i connecting to is it say should i be connected to this wi-fi just because it's an easy thing to do clear yourself up explain what services they offer um how they protect you stuff like that so go and check and you can like you basically like pay like a monthly fee so it's not like a huge chunk of money it's a
