Poland 🇵🇱 vs. Brazil 🇧🇷 - Highlights | Week 3 | Women's VNL 2025

It's Brazil in yellow, serving Poland in red, receiving. It is day three, match two of the Women's Volleyball Nations League. Week three! It's a very interesting serve from Chiara. A little bit later. Talk about it just about now when she goes back, that's a great block. Quite an amount of information on Chernyanskaya. It's a very good pass. Decent cover from Gabi, but only Tanara will have another swing. Now there's more options. Gabi, one of them, that's well played. Close to the three meter line on the football, but did just enough not to make it. Wonderful blocking. Nobody deep enough for Poland to defend that one and keep it in play. It's the second time for Julia that she's made the hand move where she reaches out. It's really difficult for Julia. Nice pass. Re-established, that did not work. What a block, Julia! Monster block! Goes from three to four blocks very quickly. Again, the hand work from Julia. She doesn't need to close shoulder to shoulder. She has such a good finish on this. It's a decent pass. Crushed the swing. Wow, what a save by Tanara. Free ball Poland to get to within one. Smarczyk, no good. Tanara. Wonderful! They managed to hold together pretty well. That is a tough swing. Poland serving, Brazil leading one set to nothing. Touch by Wynarska. Berkman. Taxi for Poland. High, hard hit. It's a combination of numbers. I've got to try and think of something generic for everyone who's watching. Oh, well played, Roberta! Rotates hips and shoulders. Quick flush. Gabi had that covered all the way. Good swing from Gabi, and look at this! Side's tied at 12. Ball from Bergman. Nice up Lukasik. Good cover, but Bergman out of the play. Gabi's not, though. And a makeshift swing from the back row at five. We'll call that a 50. Tanjanska to serve. Pressure on Gabi, but it's a great ball in. And then Bergman comes up with the point. Brazil back in front again. Brazil now a break point up. Side out from Lukasik. Nice cover. Blocking is just too good at the minute from Brazil, though. Three players change now for Poland in this set. Roberta sat on that power line. And Swinara creates her own power line. Good up. Poland get another go. Kanella gets another go, and that one she doesn't miss. Three opportunities to win this set for Brazil. Bergman gets it done. And Brazil lead by two sets to nothing. What a comeback in that set. Away we go. Set number three. Brazil leading by two sets to nothing. And it's Kanella straight into the action with that swing through the middle. Poland off to another good start. Good work from Julia. Gets the better of Damaskia. Julia's serve. It's an ace serve. Let's get to the bench. Roberta serves again. Brazil back to within two. Free ball for Brazil. Roberta's trying to get in there. Well played Lukasik, but who's going to have a swing? No one. Bergman's got it done. Vaneska just lost her footing. In the right moment, you make so many more touches. Set into the middle. Vaneska Cronwell finds nothing but the Gianna block. This time there's nowhere for Lukasik to go. Tainara shuts her down. Now starting to find some pressure from the service line. Well played, Gianna. It's very hard work. Chance then for Brazil. That is solid. Huge for Grieka. That has turned the lights off. That is absolutely fantastic, both from Grieka and Lukasik. Well played. Lukasik brings up set point. Lukasik who has the serve. Bergman went a little bit steep. Grabka gets a big piece of it. Finishes it up. 25-21. Poland take the set. Still leading by two sets to one. From Roberta. Looking for fingers. I don't think she's got them. So is that. It's free ball Brazil. Two front, two back. What a cut from Julia. That is a tough angle. There is no pipe play available. Grabka. Monster block. Stysiak and Kornelik. Shut down Bergman. Big time. Stysiak, Kornelik or Lukasik is the strongest attacking front row. Good defence. Another chance for Bergman. Free ball. Ball Brazil. Gabi makes sure of the point. And that is a big moment. That was bordering on a throw. A catch ball. But bordering, only bordering. Gently guiding. 17-13 Brazil. Four ahead. No chance. Gabi's got Smarczyk. She should bring it to the fans across the planet. Up with the point this time. Figured out where they want to go with their offence. Getting enough balance between the two outsides. Timing wasn't right. The block timing though was perfect. No need. A massive block from Tijana. And that's it. It's all over. Brazil take the set. 25-22. They've beaten Poland by three sets to one.
